Horta maxaa loogu hadliwaayey af Somali waa rune Su'aal wacan, Jaalle. Maxaynu ugu hadli weyney afkeena hooyo? Maxaynu tusaale xun ugu noqoneynaa jiilalka soo koraya? Maxaynu u tuseynaa in af qalaad in la isticmaalaayi inay tahay wax horumar iyo 'reer magaalnimo' ku jirto?....Sabab? Sabab? Baashi, su'aal wacan baad keentay, raali iga ahaada, qeyb kama aanay ahayn tuduc-da hadda laga hadlayee. Fiiro Gaar ah: Baashi igu soo biir, jooji laba-afaynta.

Asalaama calaykum Let me add one more fact that has been on the telly recently about being under the big EYE. It is said that each and everyone us is being filmed 300+ times on cameras a day...that is CCTV and likes. So, to doubt you've been watched is plain ********* . I am not sure about the collection of data with stuff like the Oyster card is true, even tho these guys can be pathetic in certain situations (situations like Muslim, Black and Practicing = MALAKUL-MAWT and needs profiling and tracking). Surprised, Wallaahi. Homo blood donation not accepted!? Does anyone know why? Gaalo waa hypocrites. One minute they are introducing them to the mainstream socieity and campaigning for them and next they are saying no to their blood....Subxaanah. Didnt Allah tell us about them...'Faxdaruuhum!' Beware of them!

Haniif, you shouldnt have posted such a site to this page, but anyway, I dont know how harmful it is to anyone's system, but strongly suggest that you dont click on that site. This is what comes up: a window that plays around your screen both vertically and horizontally and you wont be able to minimise or close it (that was my experience, anyway). So, unless you want check it out, dont go there. I was an ***** going there, but fortunately, I had nothing to lose.

Murugo iyo Maanwaa-- a true tale of Love, Seduction and Misery
Dhagax-Tuur replied to Sophist's topic in General
Asalaama calaykum not all Somalis wear those dreadful full blown coloured trousers you are reffering to I bet that was damn interesting way of dressing to you when you were young. exposure of the modern western styles have captured your mind, no wonder you detest it now. Mind you, it wasis a style, and styles come and go. there are some brothers who made London their home--- some of whom know nothing about Wembley and the picture you tried to paint. Yeah, right! -

nice and creative. But I can't get one thing out of my mind. Why use the scenario of these somali 'Beckhams' that are buying designer clothes in the most expensive shops in London and holding their wedding at one of the most 'previliged' hotels (Dochester) in London? the story line is interesting and I waiting for the chapters to come, but make it a bit more somali like....went down to Wembley's Safari Shop to check out nice Italian sytle clothes, had a lunch at Waaberi Restaurant and saw 2 beautiful somali girls buying somali music tapes at the studio and started chatting.....that sort of line. Salams. -
Asalaama calaykum I dont think that 20 something old muslim/ah who practices Islam would face these so-called dilemmas. All the stuff you mentioned, plus the search for happiness typifies absolute Kuffaar or Kuffaar imitator. If we keep one thing in mind, which is that we have been created for the worship of Allah alone and everything else comes second, you shouldn't be in a dilemma. But, I guess since most of us aren't proper muslims we are in the same circle as the Kuffaars...Subxaanah. P.S. Lakkad, you got it!

Asalaama calaykum. Thank you all and thanks for the nice welcome. I appreciate it. This is by far one of the best somali forums I have come across, and the people aren't bad either. Look at Ameenah, passing me a 'furjaan' of caano geel! Once more, thnx, I will do my best to post as much as I can (of my contro-views)to settle my status once and for all.

You have forgot to add that there is another front been fought in the same region. The area of Xeraalle by two other tribes in the region. Good question to ask. But this one's reason for initiation was not water, it is land dispute and somali tribal feud, as far as I know. Allow kala deji. Salaams.

Asalaama calaykum. I think this somali proverb sums it up: FALAARTII CIRKA LOO GANAY, NIN WALBOW FILO. The day that you become a proper practicing muslim or muslimah, you are a target and a potential threat to the western ways and life style. Period. Plus, anyone who suffers with good Iimaan, dont you worry, he/she will be rewarded by Allah. Those that can not see thru the double standard of the West, we hope them khayr, insha Allah. Finally, I heard of one good muslim somewhere in Afghanistan during the US and Co bombing saying to the muslims, "dont you just watch us, we are the first line, and you guys (the rest of the muslims) will be next." I guess it has come home! Salams

Asalaama calaykum. Isnt the whole idea of making a resolution for a new year un-islamic, since most of you seem to be thinking of doing good deeds for yourselves and others? And we all know what Muhammad (SCW) said about imitating Kuffaar. Come on. Muslim is one that reflects on him/herself all the time. Hadeeth was "Xaasabuu anfusakum, qabla an tuxaasabuu" meaning, "count yourself before you been counted by Allah, the ultimate Judge" One of you had this saying at the bottom of his post, something like this: "Freedom...we are all slaves, but the burning question is who are we slaves for?" something like that....I think the answer is so obvious to a muslim...NONE OTHER THEN THE MIGHTY ALLAH. Salam.

Being newbie, I have seen the word 'Alien' written under my avatar and seen others having the status 'Nomad' under theirs, I have also seen few others with the same description. What is this? And If I am an 'Alien' when do I get my status to be normalised into a 'Nomad'. And isnt that a discrimination or is it a positive discrimination? There is no such thing. Looking forward to some answers. Just asked myself, and thought better ask. Salam.

Baashi leaves the thread asagoo tukabaayo oo sadex lugood ku socda...wondering what become of his boy and why would he flirt girls @ his expense...scratching his head! Baashi that is funny, bruv. What a picture. Ma waxaad ka tagtay tarbuunka maqaaxidii gadaal ku taalay, mise Taleex baad kasoo baxday, more affluent sort of gent?....lol P.S. Stand up for more somalism and less westernism

i have slight suspicion that this has been copied from some western love - women mimicking- website.....sorry i am wrong. tht is the way i was born...doubtful and secretive (defines a somali). By the way, liked the girls's response in her dictionary. sounded more in touch with reality of men, bad men, anyway, like me....Truth doesnt hurt, does it? Guys, i think there are different categories of somali girls today....and i mean girls in the west. there are those who have taken most of their life somalia and those who lived the west more. the latter would understand if u do things in the western ways, but the others it is just somali ways. P.S. Aint no scaping from Calaf...travels thrice the speed of light.

Asalaama calaykum. Pretty much asking what ProudSista asked. - where are you going? you seem too good to lose - why are you leaving this place? Are you going somewhere where there is no communication or is there something else. - If you decided to leave for good, why did it happen to you to mention that on this site? If you have decided to, then I think you owe us to respond all the relevant questions of your sad departure. We hope to hear from you - I hope I speak for everyone in asking the above questions and using 'We', if not, sorry. Wrong assumption. P.S. Sorry for being nosy.

Kilroy is an ignorant public figure. However I have never thought - having watched his daytime prog - that he would sink this low. This might have been a publicity seeking article that backfired badly, pretty badly. We all know how pathetic western celebrity are when they want get their names mentioned in the media. Back to the point. few people seem to be missing the plot here. Ok, the man mentions the ills of the today's Arab world. True. But as, HornAfrique, mentioned, who is the machine behind these states. These puppet states are nurtured to degrade their people -Arab people- the state they are in today. No wonder he doesnt see what they are doing behind the scenes and can only see what the puppets do. Ask yourself what has caused thousands of muslim, Arab young men, to be up in arms and ready to take their own lives in all sorts of methods? They have lived in what Kilroy described in his article and decided to do someting about it, rather than end up in prison jail (that is what happens when you go about things in peaceful ways in most of Arab world and dictatorships). To sum it up, the Arab world today is a wound, a very infected wound. The cure of wound lies in determining the cause of the wound and starting the fight there. The cause of the Arab world and most of the so-called 3rd world is America and its western allies. That is my view. P.S. Is Kilroy a Jew, by the way?
