  2. inaan dheecaanka beerkaaga aankaa liso I'd be cupping the blood (dheecaanka beerka waa blood maaha?) out of yer liver.
  3. The muslims of the middle East and the muslim ummah in general badly need an educational uplift. Illaahow kuwii ka faa'iideysta ka yeel and more importantly, may they be those that apply the 'ilm in to their lives creatively. That is the bit that the 3rd world lacks.
  4. ^Gacaliye baan ahay ee dagaalyahan maahi.
  5. ^ Yeah. And soon to come are Simon Cowell and Katie Price, aka Jordan etc. Interested? Come to Chav Uni, where the main dress of choice is burberry, trainers and track suits. Every sentence ends with 'innit' and 'you get me, blood' etc. Waar waa iska kaftamayaaye, UK has a good educational institutions, hadiid rabto inaad ka faa'iideysato/taan.
  6. ^Soomaali iyo Ingiriisi. Inta badanse Ingiriisi.
  7. Welcome back, huuno. Qarxiska wajiga looga dhufanayo ka daaya. Soo dhaweeya, as many of you have done, dabadeed weydiiya markay comfortable dareento, 'walaalo, are you still firaaqo, marriage-wise' or 'off the shelf'? Hadaad ku qarxisaan, maxayba ka jawaabtaa, waa inay nafteeda difaacdee..... Manners fellas, manners (the grease that keeps the joints of society moving).

  9. I was trying an attractive title for the thread to get the attention of the visitors and members si ay uga faa'iideystaan 10 kan daqiiqo ee kaliya ee wacdigan wanaagsan. Wallaahi, it's beautiful and worth more than ten mins. Waa Sh Mustafa X Ismaaciil iyo Hamiga qofka Muslimka ah Q. 2/6.
  10. Lol@Nuune. True that. Be yourself. All the labels, degrees, look do no good. Put your balls on the line. Be a MAN. Remember you ARE the MAN. Show leadership (ragganimo). Take the bull by the horns (gees lo'aad kuleelkaa lagu goostaa, sxb). Get in there like a kamakaze (or shall we say a Taalib suicide bomber, in this case, you're not taking lives, but the intention is, you've nothing to lose, everything to gain). Need I say more? Allow makula taliyey.
  11. Qofta cidda miyaa sxbow... Alle kuu naxariista waa leedahay, laakiin your mind is polluted. I said, bilcaanta masawirkeedu suitable maaha for the board, and your answer is this? Caafimaad Allaha ku siiyo.
  12. War waxan qaawan take off the place, haddii kale keen more suitable photo of the woman.

^Thanks. It was beautiful and interesting film. How I wish that our own land could one day be as beautiful as this or even better. There are few similarities that remind you of home when you see their culture, the bazaars (hamarweyne), the night life (dhalinyarayntii iyo biibatooyinkii saqda dhexe lugu gaari jirey) and of course the food and the sea and the fish. It was lovely.
  14. The heck with Soomaali, the lot of them. You can be sure that we will be in this mess for generations to come. This fella with e-zine took on Shariifka, can we just see it as a political opposition, someone who doesn't like his political viewpoints, philosophy, his directions? Doesn't he have the right to make fun of him, write zillions of anti - Sharif articles. Why can't we just see him someone who is politically opposed to Sharif. I say this, as many of you are attacking him just because he attacked Sharif. War Sharif is no saint. Unfortunately, our country is a hell-hole, and unfortunately, people of Somalia have got the leaders they deserve. If you want to argue that, the evidence is right here on these pages. Everyone claims not to support a certain warlord (murderer), but someone writes something that opposes that particular scumbag, they all up in arms. Alle quluubteena waa la socdaa.
  15. Very investigative and interesting reporting by Rageh. Wallaahi, an eye-opener.
  16. I cannot stand this toff running away with the premiership. Talk about coming out of the blue when it is there for the taking. If, waa iska camalu sheydaan'e, Labour would have ditched Brown (man has sense and brute intelligence, not to mention he can claim to be in touch with the average man, but obsession with power left him blind!), and fresh young face, this opportunist would not have stood a chance.
  17. ^Thanks for pointing that out. I saw it too. You can join the prayer anytime, but, as said above, you'll have to complete the rak'ats. All these observations are down to the fact that we're not paying enough attention to our Salat. After declaring our deen (Shahaadatain), the Salat comes second, and just second, but we MUST be able to perform it correctly. Allow naga yeel kuwii sax u ooga salaada, aamiin.
  18. I was listening the Radio, and the news was telling the headlines as follows: ...And why NASA is bombing the moon...(stay tuned). Hadn't heard it before, I would have thought, 'hold on, when did Taliban get there?'. Sensationalist Journalism. Gaalo waa wax xun sheeg. By the way, I'm worried about the retaliation ka quruumaha dayaxa degan. And I heard it somewhere that the Jinn, if it's Jinn that resides there, are way advanced than the humans. I'm hoping they'd know where the rocket was fired from!
  19. I put forward Ahmedinajad for the next Peace Award. If the Norwegian and their friends in Oslo do not consider him for the next one, we will launch a new Islamic Peace Award in Jakarta. Be warned!
  20. The answer to the question is 'a resounding NO'. This was suppose to be given someone who has achieved or worked for peace in a conflict or area of hightened tension. What did he do so far? I think, this would be known one of the biggest faux pas that this committee has come up with.
  21. Hunguri waad ku saxan tahay inaad odayga u cadeyso in waxyaabaha qaarkood ku wanaagsan yihiin inaan banaanka lasoo dhigin, i.e., qofta dumarka ah iyo xaalkeeda xaasaasiga ah. Waxaa ku fileyd dul mar, cadeynaya cududaarka sababta uu usoo daahay. Waar ragoow, dee, wax ha la isku falo.
  22. ^I've tried to email you, but your inbox is bursting, system tells me.
  23. For those SOLers who are in other countries who can not take part in any donations held in London or the UK, I suggest you get yourself together in whichever town you're in, and start gathering donations for the cause and wire it over to the destination or the org responsible or the people responsible for this fund raising. However, I've been thinking that we, SOLers, can do even better. We CAN set up a monthly or quarterly donation box that every member donates to a specified sum and an individual (one of us) is trusted with it and we, create a committee that decides where (which group of Somalis) it goes to. Wallaahi, there is a lot that we CAN do, if we get our act together, walaalayaal. Mahadsanidiin.
