  8. Smith There is no argument here about who's meeting in Nairobi,we all know that but the million dollar question here is are they willing to bring an end to the war. Will people like Abdillahi Yusuf,Cato,Shaatiguduud,Morgan and Suddi be willing to reach a compromise for the sake of seeing a united Somalia? And Smith for once ANSWER THE QUESTION puhleez

I don't know why I am writing this here, but these thoughts came to my head when I saw the word Ilbax  Ameeneh very good observation.I have never thought of it that way. Somalien Culture is a very loose term I believe that encompasses a whole range of traditions, some good others bad.can you say what parts that you hate.
  12. Originally posted by nuune: lol moti, sxb nin yaaban likes the somali dhaqan,it is not wonder that he is the only person in SomaliOnline who likes the dhaqan, nin yaaban, remind us the dhaqan all the time Nuune I seem to notice among Somalis especially and third world people in general, the further one is away from traditions the more he or she is considered ILBAX.Similarly certain people in SOL have similar feelings and attack someone who mentions tradition and how useful it can be.However what some seem to not realise is that tradition is far more than how one behaves.Certain things like language also are part of the unique tradition one has as Somali,Kenyan or whatever they are, therefore shunning one's tradition would mean a total break from that language, culture and tradition.Hence achieving that unique title of ILBAX
  13. People I have this friend(innocent but really hardworking computer geek who makes 6 figures) who happens to be in a very similar situation ,believe it or not the dude just bought a beamer,a condo and spends lavishly on this girl who he thinks really digs him.I just don't have the guts to tell him that she is in all definations the proverbial goldigger,in for the money and the ride. I on the other hand am caught up in all of this because the dude happens to confide in me all that is close to his heart but I tried telling him in very subtle ways but this does not seem to work.Should I tell him the true nature of this girls affections(the change he carries) or should I keep my big MOUTH shut and see him suffer at the hands of this girl. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.
  14. Cesaanba ceelkey is dhigto baa lagu qalaa.Where and how you carry yourself determines whether or not you are respected.
  15. I am a true soccer fan who not only watches the game but plays it to the fullest.I have been a member of a Somali team which I happen to be the only Somalilander. For the past so many years whenever a foreign sponsored "Peace Conference" starts in some foreign nation my teammates literally start breathing fire down my throat on how when they make peace in the South they will swallow Somaliland in a jiffy. But to their dismay each and every meeting ends in more bloodshed and suffering for my people in the South of which I am truly against. Now the same fire and venom which some "Somaliweyn Supporters" seem to have plenty of is repeating itself not knowing whether this current process will succeed or fail dismally like the previous ones.Xaalka meeshaa aad ku heysaan simply put waa Geedkaan jari doono, faaldhan ka qori doono, bicidkaan ku dili doono...............The rest I leave to your imaginations but please as Muslims we are taught to say INSHA ALLAH when discussing matters known only to Allah laakin think positive and Allah will help you in your endavour, think with venom in your heart and you only have yourselves to blame. Peace
  16. Smith Color blind,I think not but my point was simply warka local ka ah ama waxa reerku rabo waar meelaha internationalka lama keeno like Somalia Online where many divergent thoughts and views are exchanged.

Smith stop running around with a map that makes no sense. You have posted and reposted that thing so many times in the last 2 days but it still does not make sense.

    SOMALI GIRLS

We should round up all these women who grew up in America, and Canada ship them 2k miles to Kismaayo and Gaalkacyo. They'd learn to appreciate, and respect our culture. Nin-Yaaban, you must be high on a dope called women hatred, what's wrong with you? ease up on the women, they are your sisters, moms and the same one that makes you cry everytime you're with her. and what is up with this whole KISMAAYO thing? what do you know about KISMAAYO? i am sure you're not from there because if you were from there you wouldn't have embarrased us like this. i expect you to stop this fake hard man sort of image you using on women, whoever said to you that women love bad boys, well you are the example of it (and NO) women don't like rude old man so if you're as old as your photo then what happened to you, you should've known better than to chase all these juvenile girls around the forum all the time. my point is as a guy from KISMAAYO we're known to be smooth lovers not as the agressive type of bullies you're portraying us to be so quit this fake image and be yourself. i am sure there are a lot of girls who appreciate a gentleman over a rude old player. P.S i am talking to you as a friend because i would hate to hear that a guy from KISMAAYO is arrested for a child abuse, so bro i hope you take my advice very seriously. Shaka Zulu I think there are enough girls in here who are not only smart but eloquent in presenting their thoughts.
