  2. ^^^^Abti Ala dadkana wat made you think waan soo socdaa puhleezzz.... I just pointed out what has universally been accepted as an activity after a big wedding, you know the horse drawn carriage, grand entrance, lots of xalimos, expansive food in a 5 star hotel etc etc...
  3. ^^^^Abti Thats so yesterday.....Today its the Faraxs for lunch and a few Xalimos for dinner followed by whole night of shagging.... *drifts into la la land but wakes up realizing that package is encased in a xalimo who will not stop nagging once she assumes the title of wifey, oh well no harm done in a lil wishing* Nazra Debt, you sound like the debt consolidation emails I receieve...Anyways what makes you sure a Farax will run up to you and be like Thank God I'm so debt free I can now have my dream wedding at the Sheraton where cali and Casho had theirs..... If you ask me though I think the best thing to save for ones wedding is ones virginity but again some might disagree in private but I doubt if that will ever be in public..... Quruxley Ana waxan ku leeyahay Amiin Ilaahey run ha kaga dhigo....Such a noble way to start a family.

  8. Check this out and tell me if this qualafies as a prank...... Back in college I had this Syrian kid who liked to call me Somali Falasha because I spoke Amharic with my Ethiopian friends but I got him back big time.A cat gave birth to a few lovely kittens and I decided to raise one as my own and for a name I named her Tariif(my Syrian friends first name)Well after the playful kitten learned to walk she was all over the dorm and me right behind her calling her Tariif for everyone to hear and every1 followed suit.In a few weeks we had 2 well known Tariifs, the Syrian Tariif and my lovely kitty Tariif......Sure enuff he stopped calling me Somali falasha but hey , people just wouldnt stop calling the kitty Tariff untill the day it dissappeared and rumor had it then that the real Tariff was so pissed off with sharing his name he could no longer stand it and had a big hand in its dissappearance..... When I first came to the US in my first job this white blond at work during our lunch break asked if there are any differences between life in the US and life back in Somalia. As a joke I told her how we lived in a treehouse in Somalia and etc etc.I suppose the dumb blonde jokes weren't a joke after all.She took it to heart and told quite a few people in the office and when this guy came and told me how the joke was flying around like wild office fire,I couldnt but help feel sorry for her.....In the first Christmas party that joke was selected as the best of the year and one of the guys impersonating me narrated my life story of how I grew up in a treehouse with an elevator and an English tutor...That was funny....

  15. A high school friend who works with the UN calls me up this morning and informs how the Somali Prez screwed up the English language.Just listen to him and wait for him to pronounce the word "juncture" even that had me laughing. I enjoyed the part where he says and I quote "this government is serious and committed to the basic social contract it made with its citizens......and the allegiance they have already conferred to their government". As for the content of the speech itself it was more or less the same as the one Abdiqasim read out before the UN general assembly when he was elected. For those of you interested here's the link Speech of the Prez.....

On another note Baashi miyaad carab latahay mise magaca Somaliland wey kugu adagtey.Try practising it now b4 its too late cuz the way Adeer Abdullahi is handling his presidency reminds one of a similar fate a gentleman who called himself Dr.Abdiqasim met.....

One of these mooching males will one day grow up into a marvelous hubby for you or for one of the lovely Mademoiselles on SOL.... Now for my 1st job....I was 14 years old and a lil too wild for my age so that summer my dad hired me as an unpaid(yuck)helper in the organizations library in Addis Ababa ,Ethiopia. To make matters worse the librarian never cut me any slack for being the bosses son but I suppose my old man gave specific instructions against such.It was a 9 to 5 job and my duties included carrying books to the employees offices and getting them to sign the library card and then filing them in order in the office.I was also responsible for collecting all the books and following up on any unreturned books. The only perks I had were going to work with my dad and going out to lunch with him for 2 months while school was out.I also had my own little desk with my own phone and whenever the librarian was out or busy I would be making calls to my buddies and telling them which secretary was cool or dressed the best or as is the case of a 14 year old which secretary had the best legs.....I guess that was the only organizational dirt I was privy to then My 1st paid job however was as an after school sports instructor at 18 at the American School in Peshawar,Pakistan where my younger siblings went to.The parents felt that the kids were not getting enuff sports during school hours and the principal who knew me hired me and I was supervising 1-8 grade kids for 2 hours a day 3 times a week. The pay was great for my age and like the rest of the foreign expatriates I was getting paid in dollars(Something I bragged about so much when telling the Somali guys who went to college in Peshawar).I also had this huge crush on this mulatto Canadian teacher in the school and it meant I got to see more of her...Not that anything happened between us tho I dreamt of such for a long time(she was a good 8 years older) but oh what a sight she was.I still remember her name Chantelle. That must have been the only job I think I never missed a day. When I look back now I think I was more interested in seeing my "woman" than the paycheck.....
