JB, Will Smith as Hitch can help you if you live in the West or some land that resembles the West but he can never help us when it comes to our fine "Somali sistas". In that case, we need our own Somalian-Hitch so I looked it up and did a little research and now I think I’m qualified to take that role...so take my advice and don’t worry about the fees, I will wave it for you this time. And Allah knows best
-
What happened to the question that the next person is suppose to ask? Well, someone step up to the plate and ask a question. And Allah knows best
-
JB, so you say you don’t know how to fall in love eh? Well no fear Hitch is here. Remember these two steps and you will be ready to give your heart to the next women (pending that you are attracted to her) that walks by...... Step One: Go in the Washroom and do Ghusl. Purification of the body and soul are the key to falling in love. Step Two: Convince the mind that she is the ONE. LOL, easier said than done but the objective is to build her up so much in your head that your mind must than forward the message of love to your heart. Once the heart receives the "message (or disease as some would call it) it’s about done. So enjoy your Love-full life and you will be receiving a bill in the mail for my services. Thank you and come again. And Allah knows best

Mantra, if you don’t find Rudy funny, I would have to conclude that there is something really wrong with your sense of humor. Than again...thinking about it sis...there isn't anything wrong with your sense of humor rather we enjoy Rudy's "never thinking twice before sharing his opinions" posts that seems to be posted at exactly the perfect time. Rudy, my boy, the ladies adore you, the fellas respect you...I think I can smell this months Nomad award going to...... And Allah knows best

Valenteenah I do have two hands and no pity for me. Plus I dont even like tea like that so..........FORGET THAT
-
ME..........sorry bro. My BAD. I just took a guess and you do sound like a brother...
-
RUDY IS THE MAN LOOOOOOOOOOOL what a post (probably the funniest post of 2007). But I dont support shrines that are for anyone inculding a person who will probably take the Funniest Poster hands down.
-
Val, I know that you are all about good manners and respectable words. How come you aint offering me a cup of tea...?
-
Me, dies out soon? How can you want it to die out when you are the one who started the beef to begin with. So stand your groud sister. Oh you know her kryptonite? What is it? I really must know cause I think down the line I may need to use it (not on Val) but on someone else who needs it...so share that info wont you?
-
Me, say no to the sugar! There is something werid about Valenteenah and a cup of tea. UMMM...its not really like for Val to break her own rules so RUNNNNNN.
-
Understood! I know you dont need any beef in this stage in your life. My nominations well....I have mentioned them before....but I really wanted to nominate Rudy cause of his "realness" (or his posts that make me laugh like crazy).... Me, so why do you worry about Lazy? What is she gonna do? Remember her name is Lazy (but I need to tell you something...dont let her name fool you. I once saw this gurl type like 65 words in about a minutes, now that WHOA!)
-
Keep going....dont stop there.
-
Me, I was just wondering so how many people would you nominate for the "Hate Award" if only you could present them with it? But I'll be fair and agree with you on some points. Sometimes it’s true that people are more willing to share their inner thoughts and opinion via the web rather than to your face. But than again, speaking good words and remaining silent are two components of good manners. And Allah knows best

Umm al-Khair I found your site to be very helpful in memorising. May Allah reward you. And Allah knows best

Alright Me, maybe you got a point. But men and women happen to be divided in just about everything in life anyways so I thought why not this also? Recognize the women for their work and well you know that I cant forget about my brothers also. Urban....sure vote for yourself and as it appear at the present, you may just end up running away with this months fruit basket. GOOOOOOOOOD LUCCCCK And Allah knows best

Cambarro your correct sister. That was the answer I was looking for and as for your question, is not the answer Ibiles the Righteous Jinn among the angels (of course he was given the title righteous before he disobeyed Allah). So what was the name of the uncle of the Prophet (saw) who assisted him for 40 years but died as a Kafir? And Allah knows best

Khalaf the Surahs that were revealed in Mecca during the early stages covered more in regards to Eman while the Surahs that were revealed in Medinah were more Laws that had to be obeyed, so I understand why you prefer the Meccan surahs . But I enjoyed reading the hadeeth that you have shared so may Allah reward for you efforts. And Allah knows best

Assalam everyone and may this reach each and everyone one of you in good health. I wanted to start a trend and this is what I had in mind. Let’s vote each and every month for the best contributor from the men and from the women. Each and everyone of yall could vote so just post who you think deserves it and on the last day of the month I will total up the votes and announce the winners. Since there are about eight more days until the month is complete it seems best to start the voting today. Just one rule to mention; each person can vote for two members from the men and one from the women (I’m just joking chill). But seriously, two from the women and my vote for this month goes to from the brothers I would have to say…. Shucayb/Red Sea and Taliban with Rudy coming ever so close. From the women, Aisha mos def because of her efforts in the Islamic section and Haneefah. So who will you vote for….contribute wont you? And Allah knows best

Aisha as for the verse you have presented and the hadeeth which supports it, I am thankful to Allah to live among this ummah. Indeed it is true that Allah has favored this ummah over all the other nations which leads me to share today’s hadeeth. Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, Nuh will called on the Cay of Resurrection and he will say, “Labbaik and Sa’daik (I respond to Your Call and I am obedient to Your orders) O my Lord! Allah will say, “Did you convey Our Message of Islamic Monotheism?” Nuh will say, “Yes”. His nation will be asked, “Did he convey Our Message of Islamic Monotheism to you?” They will say, “No warner came to us”. (Side note: look how evil the people of Nuh are and how they denied their messenger even after he preached to them for 950 years both day and night, in public and in private) Than Allah will say (to Nuh) “Who will bear witness in your favor?” He (Nuh) will say, “Muhammad (saw) and His followers”. So they (this ummah) will testify that he conveyed the Message and the Messenger (Muhammad saw) will be a witness over you (this ummah) and that is what is meant by the verse in Surah Baqarah (v.143) “We made you (true Muslims) a just (and the best) nation that you can be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad saw) will be a witness over you” This hadeeth was reported in Bukhari. This hadeeth illustrates that fact that Allah has raised our status to a level that we will be witnesses over all of mankind. How you may ask? That is easy since Allah has provided us with the complete and best of all of the divine text (The Quran). Since the Quran has the stories of the Prophets and their situation with their people, the Quran will be our means of evidence against those whom we will testify against and the Messenger (our beloved Muhammad saw) will be sufficient to be a witness against us. Cambarro it is not surprising to see someone get “jumped” after making a statement of someone else’s action even tho that action be displeasing to Allah. Common statements that are said are, “why do you care? That’s between him and His Lord? Allah is her judge and you have no say in the matter” and so many more statements that I simply do not have the time to share but you get my point. As for “why do I care?” well since he is my brother in Islam and the Prophet (saw) has commanded us that we love each other, than I simply want to keep him away from that which is bad and help him towards the good. As for “that’s between him and His Lord” well that’s true. At the same time if we have any knowledge of our history we would realize that Umar ibn Al-Khataab judged his people based on their actions and not just their intentions. And Allah knows best

Assalam alaikum Since Sharmarkee didn’t ask a question and I really wanna keep this going here is the next question. How many Messengers are mentioned in the Quran? And Allah knows best
-
Aisha sister I wanna thank you and may Allah reward you for your efforts. I read every line that is posted in regards to this thread and each and every post has its benefits. May Allah make us among those who are admitted to His Mercy and adhere to what He loves. And Allah knows best

Azmaya thats true. In some cases good women end up with bad fellas but there are reasons. For example, since women (strong women that is) can be considered the source of influence perhaps than they will help the man who cant get his act together to straighten up or maybe its just a test for her. Or maybe its cause of her sins that she may not realize, whatever the reason be...it happens. But the general rule is good women are for good men and vise versa but for you to believe that wadaads cant perform as well as your normal dude, HAAAA thats crazy.
-
Kimiya thanks sister for posting the link to the tafseers. As for your question, Im not exactly sure how many stories are mentioned in Surah Al-Kahf from the top of my head but I can recall four stories and if there are more than I need to re-read the Surah and if Im right than I need to re-read the Surah. Now my question now, where are the hadeeths and verses that yall are suppose to post? I mean, Im here to learn for each and everyone of you but two days of absence can cause a set back for me. So keep them coming And Allah knows best
-
Remember wadaads were normal guys (and they still are) at one point before Allah guided them. So in reality they get the best of both worlds unlike the "ones" that forgot about their life after death. Can they perform their share of work (if you know what I mean lol)? Of course they can. I mean they have the ability to control their souls and stand in the last hour of the night when the body is weak and fight the wars that nobody wants to fight, just imagine what they can do in private. So the truth is every women should strive to get a wadaad vise versa but there is just one problem. Allah has decreed that good men and for good women and good women are for good men so in the end, when it’s all said and done, you'll only get a person who resembles you in your actions. And Allah knows best
