Actually they do say that. Its a legitimate question. If you are able to take in refugees that is well and good. If however, you yourself have nothing why on earth would you take refugees from Europe that have a better standard of living and bringing them back to Africa, where not only they but the ones who are already there will have to compete for the little that is out there. Casey from what I gathered those who are from Somaliland who believe in a country called Somaliland are TRIBALISTS. Those who are from Somaliland but believe in Pan-Somalism and Greater Somalia are normal people. Hope that helps, because I don't see any where tribe was mentioned except for MMA- and his sick heart

Sister, Somaliweyn is only for Somalis. To me something that is only for a specific ethnicity is dead wrong. There is no such thing as a stepping stone. Either you declare a Muslim country for all muslims, including all those in east africa, or you forget about bringing Islam into the concept of Somaliweyn. It is a mistake to equate Somaliweyn to Islamic principles. Islam teaches that we unite. If that unity is missing, what is the difference between one nationalist state, vs another? Why can't Somaliland wait for that Unity Somaliweyn will wait with the rest of the world? I think its a sliperry slope to even bring Islam to Somali Politics, because Somali politics reeks... you will only be dragging Islam through the mud.

Hibo, I read this post over and over again, I don't see anywhere you were told to be quiet. You asked a question why don't they get a passport. You were told they already have one. I thought that was the end of that. FYI, no country recognizes Somaliland, even Ethiopia, however that doesn't stop the international community to allow memembers of the Somaliland Goverment to travel on the Somaliland Passport. If you are not trying to just create a scene, I beleive your question was answered by the second post. Good luck, and by all means have your say.
