  1. The Zack, It is entirely feasible that the whole thing will be concluded in a week or so. Those who opposed this type of grass roots initiative will soon have a Turkey egg on their face
  2. war subaxeedkii saaka ee Somaliland waxaa la yiri si shirka London looga qayb galo, marka hore Turkiga ha lagu shiro

  4. Somalia: Jubaland conference continues with provisional constitution 2 Apr 2, 2013 - 3:43:52 AM KISMAYO, Somalia Apr 2 2013 (Garowe Online) – The Jubaland conference continued on Monday with the 400 plus delegates reviewing the provisional constitution, Garowe Online reports. The draft constitution was presented to the 400 plus delegates and honorable guests who attended the convening of the Jubaland conference. In attendance guests included former Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali who thanked the convention organizers for inviting him and was optimistic that the state building process would end in success. The delegates were given some time to review the constitution and will return to raise the concerns. After the discussion process the 25 member technical committee will return with another draft that will be put to a vote. The community led Jubaland process was delayed as Prime Minister Shirdon and Ministers from the Somali Federal Government (SFG) arrived in Kismayo last week. Although the SFG disagreed with the Jubaland state process, the state building convention has continued to resume in the port city of Kismayo.
  5. cadnaan1 keeps it real--his is the real sentiment looters feel and reason to keep the loot. the logic goes like this: Suldan Ali of Hobyo took my grand grand father's goats, so I keep WW's home or farm.
  6. ^^That must be the tabloid waryaa Hadhwanaagnews calls Puntland or something like that but it plays hardball with the Hargeysa administration so it provides what I am looking for
  7. WW, I would not get in Chimera's way - he was hard to stop when Somalia was slipping into the pit . Ii dhaaf Daa'uud Waraqle , he has every right to celebrate for the glimmer of hope and the few bright spots in the land of despair . And actually believe come 10 years time, the discussion about Somalia will be markedly different provided this current administration focus on the real priorities .
  8. ^^why talk about Garoweonline then ? or was that a desperation of sort to ignore the lively debate at home You got it wrong , Sage. The reason I follow Somaliland news is 1) that Somaliland is I believe a region of Somalia that I care about, 2) Somalia is undergoing a radical political transformation from separatism to unity and integration with Somalia, and 3) as an avid follower of Somali politics in general, it is quite interesting to see how fellow Northern brothers think and analyze this looming political tsunami. What Hadhwanaagnews writes is clearly an internal debate
  9. Tallaabo;933105 wrote: What a useless thread this is. I wasted my time coming to this thread. Just like the author of this rubbish I can also write whatever I want and post it on the many Somali websites which spout nonsense everyday. But will the garbage on Somali websites like Garoweonline change the realities on the ground in Somaliland. The answer is NO. For the record, the author is a Somalilander (if there is a such thing ) and the website that published his piece is called Hadhwanaagnews.com which is the premier internet news portal for Somaliland

That would be a great pick. And I mean it. But it may not be practical. Sooner or later the status of Mogadishu will be discussed with respect to federalism. The president is avoiding the issue of Upper House and Status of Mogadishu , hoping that he will confuse the issue with the effort to revive Somalia. The question that will inevitably asked as federalism takes off is: Is Mogadishu the capital of federal government, which will be directly administered by the federal government and political representation will be no wise possible for it will be a shared city? Or will it be the capital of a federal region and the capital will have to be moved to somewhere else ? This will be taken up no matter how hard the president tries to avoid addressing it.
  11. This is what I was talking about. Start the talks in April, so you can say to your people we made a progress on the talks and now we can go to London Where is Oodweyne when you need him around here

  15. xaaji xunjuf how do you explain your celebration for the premature victory your militia annoucned in Buuhoodle where hundreds of youth aan weli curan beebuhu ku laayey, or your continued lock down on the city of Laascaano ?
  16. Your rhetorical question is answered by your active prayers in this forum...xaaji masaajidka ciyaarta ka daa
  17. This is part of the larger discussion that the author started to study the lay of the land and stop assuming all are in the bag
  18. ^^We wish him luck on that but don't tell us that there is a judicial system in place to handle looted properties today in Mogadishu.
  19. ^^So what do you disagree then , smart STOIC ? that is the logic we all oppose ; your house is not yours till you prove it is yours the looter shall stay and live in it.
  20. Xaaji, the enemy clan is the one you despise in Jubba , in Puntland , in Khatumo and in Jigjiga, so don't deny your deep wishes to see them weakened and defeated , they have Allaah though and have survived
  21. ^^LOL @ terrorists Has the terrorists been defeated now? Last time I checked SL militia headed home and left the border at the Love Mother lands
  22. ^^We disagree on the significance of Buuhoodley as the seat of Darwiish people ...your assessment is contradicted with the fact SL militia lost blood and treasure to capture this strategic town. the point of the author stands unscathed ...Togdheer is divided and disputed
