Add the fact that Somaliland survives on aid money and the taxes it collects from its business community. Based on those three factors, the religion of separatism could not be reasonably sustained in the long term. I agree the aspiration of certain segments of Somaliland society (perhaps by majority) is real and is deeply wished for. But I am saying as long Somalia's federal government is genuine to accommodate the separatist region, an unbearable pressure will be continuously put on the Hargeysa admin.
