Somaliland: SNM Commemorates 32nd Anniversary
xiinfaniin replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
This is history that cannot be wished away. for the locals these men represented the hope of being free from Barre's regime. I appreciate the collection of pictures of that struggle -
Are you saying the word 'Sheekh' proves that this picture is not his? I will remove the picture if you come up with a credible proof that this indeed is not him

LOL@Oodweyne Giving up on Gedo , eh? Awoowe you know better than that. And I am sure you understand very well that this government overplayed his hand hence why it is seems defeated and outplayed when in fact the issue is much simpler one ...

It says the picture was taken in 1905 at Ilig. It says the men sarounding him are 'khusuusi'. I will stand corrected if the kids come up some proof stating otherwise. The text speak for themselves.

Ex-Prime Minister Baroness Thatcher dies, aged 87
xiinfaniin replied to Complicated's topic in Politics
She was a divisive figure ..but advanced (successfully) a brand of conservatism that many thought was not possible in England of 1970s. -
