  2. ^^Bir calashi keligeed maxay taraysaa haddeysan, tarniiga istiraasho ka dhigan, siligna ku findhicilan . Laakini still, i find this baro story very faasinayting. Is it an embty loom, or a legend that was, but vanished and no longer is? I beg yuur insight qorya-lacagow .
  3. ^^Allaah yacizak, yaa Sharma’arke; a great Muslim personality who embodied the faith itself, and a courageous soul who cheerfully sacrificed for that noble Cause, he indeed was. And with such sacrifice, as Abdullah Yusuf writes in his tafsiir, his apparent loss may be his real gain. I will come back latter IA. Thanks much. Keep it coming.
  4. ^ Abraarey, horta bro Mohammad mee waa rune? Mise siduu sheegayey buu yeelay oo mindhaa dollar store buu furtay? Bro Mohammad haddaad na maqlayso soo laabo yaa akhuunaa! Aniga horta R.Baro taariikhdooda ha lay sheego. Maxay ahaayeen? Yaa dhalay? Imisaase hadda nool? Yaa u weyn (marka nuune laga reebo) yaase ugu yar(ofcourse excluding wiilo yarey)?

    Compliments

Kii waxaa kuula yimaada; yur dheh . But if it’s from your fellow females, and it’s also a genuine appreciation of your natural beauty, then to thank them is a matter of a good comportment, I think. Ragga toodu waa ha lagaa sheego.
  6. War Castrow, gabadha raggga ha ugu tagin . Faaraxow, Ms.Johnson jinni la tagtu soo middaan eeday darisnimadeeda maaha ? Even I, don’t know what happened in there. As soon as I told them that I have never been in to her house, they dropped me as a witness. LOL@Checkmate aka qorya-lacag. Waryee ciidamo aanan garanayn baa kuu warrama adiga saaxiib . Mise propagandadii R.Baro baad meesha la timid ! General L o Z , the name is Xiin, man. Practice its courtesy saaxiib, I say. But seriously, bal adba ninyahow ? CW, good Xiin is always above suspicion. Bishaaroy, Allaha u kaalmeeyo , aamiin. Laakiin awoowe, what have you done to poor checkmate ? He seems to have labored to decipher an imaginary enigma!
  7. ^^^ Stoic, Bishaaro waa kaftanley saaxiib. Keep at it(practicing that is), and in no time you gonna be on top of it. It is addictive indeed. Before, I used to post only when I am @ work. Since my company started to reimburse our high-speed connections at home, waaba ikan oo waa haddii layga celiyaba . Bal adigu si yeel. Waagii hore I would have to go to a coffee shop to serve, not any more. War wuxu waa sixir .
  8. ^^Bishaaro, yac . Not much. You've, good Stoic, picked Castro's gramar of using 'th' instead of 'd', thats all. you are with parity with all of us now. [edit] drop that 'th', unless Castro insists on it .
  9. ^^^ Castrow, adeer keligaa ma sixranid , i tell ya, that LSK guy qardhaas cidda u goysay baan wallee ka yaabay . lool@bad Xiin stays.
  10. @is huur-huuri Mine is very easy...Bishaaro goes away .that would be last time good Xiin would be seen in SOL .
  11. ^^^Waan gartay…the oldies of SOL baa mid walbaa wuxuu ayaamahan keenay in la bar-baryo. Mee Baashi (waa ninka baxarkaan igeliyey ee SOL inta i baray haddana iiga baxay ), oo mee Mutakallim? Markaasaan is iri isna cudurkii baa lagu daartay . Xaalku waa shax-shax baan ugartay .

    Camelot!

^^This is another love story , good Castro, and i am afraid that you're not in a romantic mode tonight, as you told us in the other thread.
  13. ^Waryee Castro xaggee aaday saaxiib? Mise adna sida Ngonge baad rabtaa in lagusoo sasabo . My name, good Castro, is just that, my name . But it's none of the above.

    Camelot!

Thanks Qudhubow. The poem, though poorly composed, and harbors contradictory assertions, is a good one still. Galayax’s other poem with similar theme has a lot more literary agility, and a superbly arranged stanzas. . Here are few leading verses from his famous poem; Geelyohow Qulciyo la isu diid, qolalkii xaarnaaye Kobtii qadowga laga daaqi jirey, qoob la dhigi waaye Qax baan kaaga soo waday dhulkay, qadadu kuu tiile Waakaas qiyaamuhu ka dhacay, qarankii toomoode Qodqod iyo qallaalkii Kigliyo, Quracshil oo doogtey Qawdhaha Ardaayaale iyo, Qalaxkadheeraaday Qurqurada caleentiyo dharjada, qubatayee hawle Qajigii hareeriga ku yiil, qaranradii hawdka Qulunquulka suubaanka iyo, qaaxawadeheeda Quraar faraq leh qodaxtoosha iyo, qaalalyada saarka Intaas oo qashkii hoos ka baxay, qariyey baarkaaga Adigoo qummaati u cunoo, qiro ku soo yeeshay Oo qadi madow wada noqdoo, qaarka wada deyshey Ama qaayo uga soo darmaday, qararka hoostooda Inuu kurusku qaab kuu baxiyo, qurux ma weydeene Aaway raggaadii? Bal car garo bay taagantahay . Sharmarkow waa lays hayyaa! P.S: You see, I can safely bet (figuratively) every penny in my pocket not many nomads, here, understand what this poet is talking about.
  15. Khaalid, thanks for the advice bro. As you know الصبر عند الصدمة الأولي sideedaba, and futher more this is about defending your good name and repute. Good Xiin will not go down without putting a fight. I promise. But it seems I am out of the wood now, and I have nothing to worry. It was more of finding out if other nomads had similar experiences like mine. Ducaqabow, yours was a lot easier to handle. It was, as I am sure, a nuisance nevertheless. Stoic, Ahsanti saana, saaxiib. I may need it one day. If my name were Mohamed, or mohamamud, or abdi for that matter, ma ciil baan qabi lahaa.

    Camelot!

^^Not that fast, Yaa Ayyuubi ? I will come back with more IA.
  19. The sheer fact that Hamas won is worthy of celebration, my celebration that is. For now--for those of us whose victories are few--this one has to be marked. In reality though, this victory will not deliver much to the Palestinian people. It will not nurse and heal the emotional scars and economic devastation of decades of brutal occupation. Things will not change overnight. The expansion of settlements will not be reversed suddenly. It will not do any of those. What this victory does is to bring new variable in to the calculus of Middle East politics. With its two-third-majority win, Hamas goes alive, so to speak, with new political muscle. Though it will be hard to imagine for Hamas to completely rewrite the terms of that Israel-favoring peace process, it could still force its review, and subject it to be thoroughly assessed and evaluated. Hamas victory puts Israel in a very difficult position. What should they do now? Negotiate with terrorist, as they deem Hamas is, or start from zero again and look for another entity to groom? Reoccupy Gaza, or leave it in the hands of an organization whose demise they frantically sought? It also exposes the hypocrisy of the West, and it puts them in an equally very difficult position. What would the west do? Would they respect the choice of the people or would they scoff it because it did not produce a favorable outcome for them, or it just isn’t to their liking? What would Bush do when the wrong guys win? To be stunned and shocked are not enough when what at stake is one’s legacy in a region whose geopolitical value is not in dispute. So Bush will have to,very soon, make a stand. A real stand, that is, not the one intended for the media feed. I can take it even further and I assert this Hamas victory complicates the relationship between the West and Iran. The early reaction from the west feeds the argument that the Iranians were making. In this age and day one can hardly doubt what the West want. True. Yet Hamas victory leaves no room for the doubters to maneuver. In the end, we must admit, Hamas have to deal with its enemy, and come up with a pragmatic political course that has a dye of diplomacy. It has to learn how to be subtly convey its message without compromising its political platform, and without isolating it self. For now, let Hamas celebrate its victory, and indeed the Palestinian people, as they have mourned too many losses.

    nabi khadar

More likely than not he was a Prophet, and he was chosen to be Moses mentor as well. Allah gave him especial knowledge to decipher His secrets, which was a knowledge even Prophet Moses lacked, mind you. I don’t know how it all had started but this chosen Prophet had been turned in to a legend whose visit is to be anticipated, and waited for in especial occasions, like Khidr night. Also in some regions, I heard, after fajr prayers, the faithful would initiate a handshake process in search of Khidr whose presence is assumed. I don’t know how these stuff started, but it would be beneficial if learned nomads chip in with their version of these fascinating Khidr related tales and traditions. Of course I don’t believe (to my limited knowledge) that Khidr would turn up one day in our mix.
  21. All I know is that thread kan caraf ma taaban .
  22. ^^R.Baro goormaa u danbeysay ? Dadkaaga dhinac ka raac, saaxiib. Xattaa qorya-lacag aka checkmate intaa wuu fahmay oo waakan gurmadka iigu yimid. R.Baro Wiilo oo skoobe la waraageysa ka hartay, iyadana say idiin baafineysey way xabeebsatay. Toosi luquntaada, i say, haddii kale waa lagaa tegi wallee . raula aka shaqlan , i stand corrected.
  23. lool@telepathic-thief. CW, we have some thing in common then, ma istiri .
  24. Well come back saaxiib . You’ve been missed. But I refuse to fall in to your literary trap as I admire the legend whose story you managed to circumvent (outwit) . His illness was love, and not a TB; the poems were his, and not Abdi’s. They (poems were) were just few snippets of Elmi’s literary genius; there was more wisdom that resided in his heart than he could possibly offload. Good to see you back thuo.
