  2. ^^Good and timely analysis , yaa Kheyrka!
  3. Ilaahay ceebteeda ma asturin. She is a singularly isolated and worthless person! The fact that she’s coming to America now won’t change much for her. Her rogue personality, and the peculiar inclination of her character, will cause her to shirk again. Thusly her new lease will soon expire, I predict. But the real irony is that we have immensely contributed to her name to thrive, and SOL had a fair share in that. Why we would continue and happily flog this dead horse is beyond me! Markay ci’ tiraahdaa qolo warkeeda noo keenaysaa! Let’s see her for what she really is; an irrelevant rascal. Whether she goes to America or stays in her secluded residence in Netherlands is immaterial to know. There are stealthier and more able hired-pens out there for us to tackle. Keep that in mind.

    Qalbi Fiican

Nurow, qisada kugu dhacday iyo habkaad u qaabishayba aad bay mufiid u yihiin. Gobanimada qofka muslimka ahi waxay ku jirtaa cafiska. Aargoosashadu waa bannaan tahay laakiin qof xaqqiisii cafiyey waa ka gobsanyahay kan raadsaday. Way yara adagtahay in dadka qaarkii arrintaa u guuxaan laakiin sidaad ka qisaysayba waa arrin mudan in laysku dayyo oo lays baro. Cabbaar baan ka fekeray sidii aan yeeli lahaa haddii tan ku qabsatay oo kale ay igu dhici lahayd. Durba waxaa iisoo baxday inay u badnaan lahayd inaan waxayga doonanlahaa, oo aniga iyo raggaa aanan si fudud ku kala baxneen. Malaha ficil baa iga buuxa oo xikmadda i seejin lahaa! Waa Mombasa kabo layga xadday (Masaajid)ummaddii qaar baan gaba gabeeyey! Inkastoo aan nin yar ahaa haddana markaan soo xasuusto runtii waan qoslaa. War wuxu waa kabo after all ! Qayb iga mid ah baa caddaalad darrada iyo gardarrada aad u neceb. Malaha taasbaa ka xoogbaddan qaybteeda kale ee cafiska iyo samirka doorbidi lahayd. Waligay waxaan jeclaa qisada nin reer miyi ahaa oo tabar-yari inta qolo bidday ay damceen inay xoolihiisa dhacaan oo mar layga sheekeeyey. Waa uu iska celiyey oo weliba ka gabyey. Wuxuu yiri; Marka hore nin taajir ah oo turuqyo weyn maahi Hayyeeshee haddii laysku tago layma tabar dhaamo Warmahayga inaan dhiig ka tiro uma tumaalaysan Hayyeeshee nimaan ii tureyn taagtay kama aasho Gobonnimo haddii loo tartamo tiigso ma iraahdo Hayyeeshe haddii loo tirsado meel xun ma istaago.. Inkastoon runtii aan u bogsanahay sida ninkaa waxyeelay haddana waxaa ii muuqata in ragganimada cabirkeedu yahay hadba sida ruuxu uu iskugu dayo inay nusuustu dabar u noqoto. Qalbi fiicnaanta dulucdeedu waa intaa. Waxaa taa wehliya garashada iyo in qofku haleelo talada teeda fiican. Markii xoolahaagii la dafiray ilaah baa ku garansiiyey inaad iskaga samirto beddelkoodana asaga weydiisato. Qof walba intaa ma garto, Nuurow. Illaahay quluubteenna ha isku wanaajiyo.
  5. ^^am asking: why do you think Ethiopia will recognize SL? Obviously Ethiopia gets whatever that is it wants from Somalia/Somaliland? Why cause deplomatic uproar and recognize Somaliland then? You see, i want you to do a little analysis before you begin to dance for these mery tunes!
  6. ^^And why do you think that is, good Nazir?
  7. Congrats, yaa Stoic. You did it indeed.

  10. Geeridu geel jire iyo nimaadan aqoon bay ku fiicantahay baa la yiri. This tragedy hit home, and very close at that. Keep her and her family in your prayers, dear nomads.
  11. ^^Adeer Duke, Ethiopia is a factor in Somali politics. Always has been. It is not an imaginary bogy man. It’s a real threat to the resurrection of Somali state. The sooner we understand that, the better. Now if I read current situation right the old man has fallen out favor with Ethiopia’s strong man. I believe Mr. Yusuf genuinely wants a functioning and a unified Somali state, and he is willing to compromise for that end. But whether he realizes or not, he is in the wrong alliance to achieve that noble goal. You can’t finish the building of a house, as it were, if others are busy thwarting it saaxiib. More so if the ‘others’ here mean those who you claim are your helpers. As for CQasim and co, and their opposition to the TFG, that I believe is hardly an excuse for the old man and his team. For one, CQasim’s opposition remains to be an intellectual of sort and he leads no armed rebellious against this TFG. Second, it’s the TFG ministers who hindered all the progress this government could make, yet they remain part of it. You are pointing wrong fingers when you begin to talk about those who are outside of the TFG. You said he is making all the right noises. That could be so but it is not credible till he makes the right move as well. A move I suspect he won’t take. Lets see what the following weeks bring.

    May 18th

^^ Jamilaay, these are testing times indeed. Honestly I don’t know what May 18th represents, the date of which SNM struggle commenced or when the secessionist movement attempted to make Somaliland what it could not be--a country. But I am confident that Somalis will pass these testing times and come out of it as the one people they really are. Till then let’s give this grieve-stricken lot all the breathing room they need. It could be a healthy dose.
  13. To incorporate Islamic courts in to the government requires a political conviction, and can’t be done out of convenience. As long Ina Yusuf is beholden to Ethiopia to the degree we are all witnessing (can’t even fire these renegade warlords from his cabinet), the chances of this government succeeding is indeed very slim.
  14. ^^He’s equally impotent, good Castro, and although I don’t accuse him to be another warlord, but an inmate of the month, as it were, is still a convict. It takes a lot of courage to change Somalia’s political stalemate, adeer. Traveling around the globe without moving a finger to ease the pain and suffering of the innocents is singularly unimpressive to me. His election was a mistake, I now hold, and will prolong this conflict. He comes out as an aimless soul. He has no grip on the realities on the ground. His caravan continues to voyage but to no better place. Great opportunities for him to deliver has come and gone. I used to blame A.Qasaim to have lacked the needed courage but the old man makes him shine in contrast Wallaahi. Nagadaa adeer. Mar baad arag markhuun boqol jiroon mayrasho aqoone’e Marna tobon jir mawlaca kitaab meeriyaad arage’e
  15. codetalker, I don’t know what’s your grievance about Buchanan but you seem to have a problem with him. I can’t do much about that. What I can do, however, is to remind you that you need to judge the letter on its merits and not who wrote it. Perhaps jogging your memory about that might help. Now good Buchanan eloquently narrates military interventions of post Second W. W. America and lists its plunders. Read between the lines and you realize his is not an endorsement of those military adventures. Rather it’s a perfect prologue for his subsequent conclusion. Talking to Iran is what Bush needs to do. Talking to your enemy is better than Threats. Buchanan thinks so. What could your problem be with that^^? Other than seeing the looms of Buchanan in his writing, it could be one of two. One, you don’t think, at this age of the conflict, that America is going to listen any voice of reason. Hence letters of this nature ring hallow in your assessment. On that account many would agree with you. Or, two, you seriously think that Iran is capable of defending itself--if it comes to that--and you didn’t like how the author depicted this (Iran) great power. You may be right on that accounts as well, and although I don’t know what the future holds, still I tend to agree with him on that. If this conflict comes to being (God forbid), from my secular assessment Iran would suffer greatly. All it can master to do would be to disrupt oil shipments from the region, and that would directly impact American economy, which in turn complicates the smooth follow of American life.Inconvenience, however, is not akin to utter destruction of a nation, saaxiib. Defending yourself and dying with dignity is a world away from exacting a victory or inflicting damage on your enemy. Neither of which Iran could do. For now. Get that ! As for your characterization of this letter as a one intended for redneck consumption, that’ s a clear failure from your part. You see, good codetalker, it is either you are economical with the truth or this piece requires a lot of elbow grease from your part. How could you’ve come such a bizarre conclusion, saaxiib? And yes I respect HIS intellectual honesty. And your LOLing, needlessly to say, is a mirth whose subject escapes me!
  16. ^^^^Iran is no match for America’s sheer military power and its logistical reach. Get that good code. Buchanan made a very good point; talking to Iran is better alternative than the status quo. He thinks the letter from Iranian president could open an opportunity for that route. And he is reproaching --not praising-- America’s misused power. Despite all the redneck association attributed to him, I respect this guy for his intellectual honesty. He calls thinks for what they really are. He never wavers.

    Questions!!

    ^^Hoy,Sheekha baxar ha gelin.
  18. ...Yet, in this same quarter century when the U.S. military has been so busy it is said to be overstretched and exhausted, Iran has invaded not one neighbor and fought but one war: an eight-year war with Iraq where she was the victim of aggression. And in that war of aggression against Iran, we supported the aggressor. Hence, when Iran says that even as we have grievances against her, she has grievances against us, does Iran not have at least a small point? And when Russian President Putin calls Bush's America "Comrade Wolf," does he not have at least a small patch of ground on which to stand? . Nomads, read Patrick J. Buchanan at his best!
  19. So, success means Fitness For A Purpose , The first part, the Fitness is a tangible quantity. The second part, Purpose , is abstract, it is like beauty, a purpose or an intention to reach a goal is an abstract quantity that can only be measured with a predetermined set of metrics we call Fitness . ^^Very competent, wouldn't you say! I really liked. Thanks Nur.
  20. ^^LOL@Xabad Sawda Supply. But it could be argued that America wanted to talk to Iran all along, and even without this letter they would still do it anyway, maaha?
  21. It gives the impression that it had something to do with it though. And that's, good Castro, good enough for now.
  22. U.S. Under Pressure To Talk to Tehran Rice Backs European Diplomacy With Iran
  23. ^^Soo dhowow yaa Alle-ubaahane. Castro, everything seems to be working well to me. Except good JB's recycled argument of burden of proof being on the believer, that is. Ha la isku daayo sheekha iyo Cara baan weli taaganahay.
