  1. ^^^Caamirow, Hirad, as a committed pro TFG, is trying to deceive us by blaming the ICU for the failings of the TFG. The warlords he labored to remind us about their wicked history are today in cahoots with the TFG! It spent a lot of energy in thwarting ICU efforts to stabilize the south. Because of Ethiopia (correct me if I am off on this) they are supporting Ina Qaybdiid to halt the wheels of progress in Mogadishu. In the jubba theater, TFG is feebly gambling on Barre’s return---another warlord who met his demise in the hands of the courts. It's one of two saaxiib; TFG is either hopelessly incompetent entity, or is led by men with converging interests. One could argue both to be the case. Courts can’t clap, as it were, with a one hand. They have no partner for peace, I say. As for the Taliba-ICU comparison, I hope you would be better informed to see that link for what it is.
  2. I stand corrected! Xaal is in order. P.S: waryee Libaax maad pm functionka noo hagaajisid saaxiib!
  3. ^^Maasha Barre carar! Adiguba caqlaad leedahaye carar maxaa dhaama! Ciid mubaarak to all. PS; edited after Caamir's correction!

    Camelot!

^^Ciid Mubaarak to you yaa shiekh! You've brought back very popular thread which leads me to believe that you'ave perhaps composed few celebratory verses of your own! Share with us yaa Nur....sadexleyda soo tuur .
  6. ^^Horn's response is meaningless for Xiin, and i am afriad for this fora as well adeer! I am still waiting updates about Barrre's numerous and determined armed forces and how close they are in capturing Kismayo...just don't forget that function of yours saaxiib! Feeding us with clannish lies is what you excel without doubt!
  7. Ninka kibirku shaan-shaan ka riday waaye shaxartaanye Misna wuxusan shaakada ku darin shiishka soo maqane'e Inta shaqalka gaabani u jiro sheeg haddaad garato! Buurhakaba qabashadeedu waa ficil quus ah! Cabdullaahi inuu qabbaan Ethiopia u nowdo iyo inuu Dawladnimo soomaaliyeed raadsho isku heliyo mayyo! Ethiopia's interference in Somali affairs is a particulartly pranounced fact. If indeed TFG's new strategy is to enter open conflict with the courts in the hope that foreign entities will support them, then time has come for the courts to slash and burn this incompetent entity for good! One can't finish building house of peace as it were if others busy themselves thwarting it.
  8. True@Ninkii tiisa kaa buuxsadoo taadana aan yeelin Oo maalintuu toogo rabo kuu tol noqonaaya Oo maalintaad taag xun tahay kaaga taga hawsha Cadowgaan turriinshaha aqoon looma taag helo e! Caamirow those^^ are timeless verses indeed. Could you post the rest of it if you have them! Hornow, quoting bro Oodweyne to score a point is another desperate business adeer! Not difficult to find equally harsh assessment (and perhaps wrong) one on you from Oodweyn’s prev posts if one wishes to dig yaa Horn ! But look how weak your chosen yardstick is adeer!
  9. ^^Warmoog, Somalia is a tragedy that refused to go away. It has ceased to function as a state sixteen years ago. You need to understand what that entails though as you seem to have challenged the central point of my argument. Simply put, what that means is a total collapse of an entire nation---literally. In my estimate, and without exaggeration, Somalia risks extinction as a country if the current status qua remains unchanged! When you read news commentary about Somalia’s descend into anarchy and its lawlessness imagine mayhem at its worst degree and its social consequence! When you hear the suffering of our famine-induced starvation imagine the mass exodus that naturally follows. Of course there are pockets of stability in the east and in the north---no denying about it! But Somalia’s breadbasket region (South) remains dismal and dire. Add the clear external exploitation of our internal implosion to the already mentioned, painful, fact. The practical implication of a state that has been without defense for the last sixteen years should not get lost on you! If the chief deduction of that narrative is not the death of a nation, I don’t know what it’s! Now how does slash-and-burn notion remedy this calamity is a legitimate inquiry that needs a careful probe! But you need first to make a strong handshake with the truth as it were and understand the problem for what it really is; that Somalia is dead, and to revive it and inject a second life into it requires a drastic change. Whether my slash-and-burn theory meets that requirement is a different argument altogether yaa Warmoog. But since you seem to have a lingering thought and wondered out loud as to what would the result be had the courts followed my slash-and-burn suggestion, I must remind you that these courts have already practiced it in the south. You need to look no further then Mogadishu and see what happened when men of religion led a violent uprising against men who dominated southern politics for the last decade and half! To them the calculus was clear: probable civilian casualties which such urban wars will inevitably cause would be a calculated price to pay for the attainment of the greater good! So all I am really advocating is the repeat of what happened in Mogadishu and in Kismayo throughout the south. To do that would involve in some degree of slashing and burning, you see, but not to the level that you’ve literally interpreted it. I am hardly setting the country ablaze as you suggested yaa Warmoog!
  10. ^^^lol@still hear them screaming. War nimankani waqooyi dad kuma layn, and as long Riyale (former NSS officer) is in the helm of the Somaliland admin you are not credible with your past grievance yaa Jaylaani !
  11. ^^Bro I didn't know my inbox was full. LSK, didn't tell me its limit. I am gonna delete some of it IA. Libaax, please advice...this could be useful for some SOLers! PS: i sent a pm, let me know if you cant respond!
  12. Hadrawi(when confronted with the inherent difficulties of Somali nomadic culture where one’s political thoughts are measured and aligned with the perceived interests of his tribe) chanted his own heroic deeds in the following defiant verses: Inta aan gar- waaqsaday intaan, garasho diidaayo Inta laygu gaad gaadayaa, iiga geed ba'ane Cishaday gabnowdiyo intay, gelinba heerjoogtey Girif-giriftu way igu badnayd, gu'iyo jiilaale Inaan gaabsho mooyiye cishana, tayda maan gabine Galka seefta kuma haysan jirin, maalin gulufeede Misna geeladay, gocoraday, iiga gaws kulule Goonbaartu eelkay dhigtaba, gaari baw xidhane Godobteedu waxay saarantahay, meelo aan geyine God markaan daboolaba far baa, laygu godayaaye Nin gefaaba lay tirinayaa, garasho waa yaabe Waxan ahay nin lagu saan gatoon, raadba soo geline Garraantayda qaar iyo, lag iyo, gaasas baa necebe Gabbashayda duul iyo badh iyo, goosan baan rabine Haddaan gaasho yeeshana dar bay, gawl la leedahaye Hadba waxaan ku guul seegayaa, lama garaystaane ^^The man opposed Barre’s regime not out of clannish reasons but out of true patriotic convictions. It was not convenient for him to cut short of his academic life and leave to join what he thought to be a genuine armed opposition against Barre’s dictatorial regime. When he composed his famous ‘Hargaysa ma toostay’ poem to celebrate that city’s uprising against the milatery regime, some have interpreted it as a clear partisan siding with his clan. How could one oppose and fight against the regime and yet convey his political views without being marked as an angry tribalist was the quandary Hadrawi found himself in. To remain true to his political consciousness but explain it in layman’s terms, Hadrawi composed his sole ‘gabay’ called Gud-gude. He did not apologize for bearing armies or for being part of a violent resistance against Barre’s regime. But he did lay down a clear political philosophy of his as to why he did what he did! The best self-tazkiyah I have ever seen. His doubters however did not buy his explanations. Still it lost not in vain as I, and many like-minded latecomers, reaped its yields. Likewise, although one would be destined to fall short in his effort to explain to Allamagan and Horn the possibility for one to perfectly be genuine and honest in his political analysis and observation without slightest clannish considerations, to rationally challenge the popular perception of reaching political triumph by gathering few nomadic militias from a distant land with which to capture a city is still a valid point to make, perhaps not for them but for the larger readership in SOL! To convince them that their clan, or any community for that matter, is bigger than a single warlord and his militia may not be a realistic goal to achieve in the immediate after math of Kismayo’s fall, but to at least teach them that not everyone’s political thoughts formulate from a pure clannish basis is! Anyone with a sizable intelligence should be able to detect these blatant absurdities. I know! But you can’t possibly disagree with one’s political experience---you could only disagree with one’s opinion. If what these chaps know and their frame of reference is their clan and its perceived interest then they are not reasonably to blame. In fact, as bro Allamagan rightly said, he and Horn have every right to voice their views and political sincerities---however wrong. We shouldn’t ridicule them for charging me with tribalism when I predicted, for instance, that warlord Hiiraale will loose his grip on Kismayo. Hadrawi, in his ‘Life’s Secrets’, advices against blaming people for the genuine yields of their brainpower: Garashadu Sahraay ruuxa Sed u gaara weeyaane Hadduu saamigaas yeeshay Qurux ma leh saluuggeedu . Similarly, I shall learn how to live with Allagan’s and bro Horn’s wrong views on me! I shall always and promptly forgive them for they are not to blamne!
  13. ^^ War waa bilaa xuduud bahalku---of course xuduud here is the macnawi !
  14. ^^Clearly this project of finding the truth of this matter and raising the awareness of Puntlanders about it is a noble project. It’s my belief that the current leadership in that region is corrupt and incompetent. What we need most yaa sophist is to replace these men for good. It’s doable bro! What does it take to organize a political movement comprised good men both in and outside of Puntland that could throw these incompetent leadership out of office for good? Since you are going soon to Puntland, noo sahami yaa sophist. We will count on you!
  15. ^^27 of Ramadan. Very good reminder! Kashafa, I have conceded SOL's Ugaasnimo to Nur bro! If you meant by the Reer Main one tho, it's too dangerous to vye for it nowadays saaxiib. Meesha ha igu dilin. Alle-ubaahane, good advice saaxiib! edit: Afur wanaagsan all.
  16. Kashafa, maya bro ...that's good enought now! Laakiin Kashafow meeshani wax aan rag aqoon baa jooga...oppose thier warlord and you would be accused of all sorts of crimes. Waan yaabannahay adeer.
  17. ^^Another guesswork! You are not saying much if you realy look at it... Kashafa
  18. ^^we need someone to support you on this one! To be sure, here are the charges that you are fleeting in this wholy month of Ramadan: 1-Xiin hates certian clans in Kismayo. 2-Xiin is munaafaq. Do you agree those are your charges against Xiin? If you do, then i forgive you bro but you are wrong. Barre is a warlord whose demise we all wanted! Those who are crying for his retreat have no good reason except clannish emotions overpowered them. Xiin has no particular warlord to support! If i am tribalist i would be in baydhoba fighting for the old man adeer... Some times waan ku naxaa saad u xamaasaysantahy wallaahi!
  19. ^^ I hear you bro but you are utterly mistaken about Xiin! Continue with your gueswork!
  20. There is a drive to maintain peace throughout Somalia and in the Diaspora. The warmongers in Baydhabo will not succeed IA! Ethiopia is pushing us toward another civil war to retain its control. Majority of Puntlanders are not happy with Cadde’s policy of supporting warlord Qaybdiid! The good Ugaas of Gedo counseled against Barre’s march for war in Jubbada-dhexe! Voices of reason are being heard in Somaliland. And Geedi and the old man are finding difficulty to take us back in time and reverse the gains of the last few months. All of these^^could be a positive read from my side but I have a feeling that shackles of fear and mistrust are being broken [edit] as we speak by brave men...May they succeed in thier effort! !
  21. Kudos for these Isims to intervene.. I heard there was a contact between them and the old man as well...Allow run ka dhig!
