^^In my uncle's authentic Somali, it's called bar-barrooti. Compromise. Calls English. In my believe the Cours have compromised on one fundamental thing: the legitimacy of TFG. They recongnised it. Now tell me yaa ThePoint, if you are from a noble blood, one thing TFG compromised on! And lest you are mistaken accepting to negotiate does not constitute for compromise. It's just a measn to get there!

^^Why stop me adeer, do you not agree with my statement?

^^Have I not told you that you would be disappointed if you thought Somalia’s problems lie in a military solution? They are political in nature! Hence the sooner the old man understands that the better the chance is for him and his government to at least try to tackle it. Running to Melez’s Ethiopia wont do the trick. Rearming defeated warlords and giving logistical support wont help either. Sticking to the notion of bringing foreign troops is also missing the point and ignoring the reality on the ground. The solution: talk and compromise. That’s the art of politics adeer. To whom you might ask. The answer is off course obvious, to the ICU. Reason with them and ask them a favor to allow you to finish your term. Ask them to give you what you and the old man refused to give to the Carta government: legitimacy to govern. I don’t think you have both the political framework and military means to crush your opponents hence your frothing is quit fatuous, don’t you agree yaa Aw Yusuf?

^^Correction: it’s Xiinfaniin (and not Xiin Faneen ) saaxiib! For me, the expulsion of warlords from Mogadishu is the greatest achievement of the Islamic Court. That I despised those criminals and what they have done to us is understatement.

Did ICU ban Khat to profit from black market or retaliation vs. Kenya

lol@nutrition of God-fearing people! I believe poor Bashir's article needs no critique, it just collapses under its own weight! The common lament over it with which I share many though is the fact that the nature of Bashir’s very partisan rancor weakens his rhetorical genius. -
^^ Kashafa, i thought your metaphor was quite fitting!

^^ i thought you already conceded on this issue.

Originally posted by Juje: Desperate times call for desperate measures. One of them is signing a pact with a 'invalid' person. Someone should tell nimaanka cimamadaha wata Odeygi wa hore ayu albaabka xirtey. "So joog ninka laga wayo so jiif aa laga hela." In The Art of War, the oldest military treatise, Sun Tzu wrote: All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. So good Juje, although it may seem that sages have labored mightly to produce a mouse as it were yet those among us who are well versed in the art of diplomacy would hardly miss its political subtlety!

lol@ Sheekadu hablahay noo taxnayd iyo togonay haasaawe Rag takooran baa nagu jiree tabaha qaar diidnay Inkastooy taftuba noo dhaweyd teetka sharaf eegnay Sidii adhi tigaad loo dhigoo lagu tiraabaayo Warmihii tumaatida caddaa tiirka qabadsiinay Anigu waan talax gabaa markaan taabto geedkaase Habeenkaa ninkii tamar lahaa togay mirqaankiisa Thanks sophist for posting this literary peace! And putting aside author’s seemingly glorifying attitude toward Qaad, which I was tempted to make a hard-edged ideological statement about, this is a very good read indeed!

ThePoint, share what? The grades i got ? I have been there and it wasnt easy!

Every child is gifted and has indeed her/his own unique talents but when the practitioners who are constantly engaged in the profession of educating children tell you that your child is above average or the knowledge he/she possess surpasses that which his/her grade level expects, that, yaa Zafir, is indeed a reason for celebration and source for parental pride! Baashe and Zafiir, congrats i say! Your investment will pay itself off IA.

M.M, as Che will soon find out prep helps a lot but succeeding in a GMAT exam is more of a mental state in the exam day! I guess that's the case in any test but it's particularly truer in this case! My advice is to practice the computer simulated tests (they are free and out there for you @mba.com, you need to register with them though)! Understanding how the this test works also helps you anticipate and answer hard questions. The good thing about it is you can indeed tell if you are doing well on the test by the type of questions you get. The better you do, the harder! Saaxiib Allaha kuu sahlo! p.s. Che good luck with your quest. Allaha kuu gar gaaro. That thing aint easy! pps: The Point, don't postpone it adeer and go for it as soon time permits you!

^^ . Sheikh Yusuf, stay cool brother and put down that gun of yours . Sh. Maxamed Qadar caadi ma aha saaxiib. I can tell you that much! lol@Zafir!

Jaylaani, Redka is a reasonable man and needs no defense. He may not be doing every think he can inuu gacan siiyo dadkiisa but thats hardly an excuse to attack his argument. The man believes in Islam and chooses it over particular geography and region. Who can top that, i ask? Anyone? Soo bax, haddii kale dam-damta meesha kala taga, i say!

LOL@Baashi-ing! That was quite creative yaa Sheh ! P.S: Welcome back Castro!

lol@Waji baa far lagu meyrayaa, beesha wadi meyso! ^^Thats very wise and true yaa Baashi! Awoowe kaama fogi laakiin amxaaarada iyo wixii wataan nebcahay! ICU has its shortcomings and i do share w/your assesment that they could have done many things differently to get better results.

^^Baashi, make sure you listen to this kid---xiniinyaa ka buuxa or as you would say ragganimaa haysa!
