For Adeer Castro, He is a good fella I think. ^^Perhaps my stance on Ethiopia is extremely radical, but Abadirow the little history I know about Ethiopia and its ambitions about Somalia tells me this tfg has no chance for success. To make it even difficult for me to lend any support to it, the men who lead it have shown a zero competence to understand the complexity of our relationship with this old friend of ours! Recent developments in the capital, which showed a sign of progress (warlord disarming and the increase of world attention to our plight), are but a mere footnote for our continuing tragedy! I don’t know, but it’s been very difficult for me to swallow Ethiopia’s humiliation and accept this tfg, which it supports. I could be wrong adeer, but this entity with its current form and allies is far from a reconciliation government that could sort out our differences and restore out dignity! Time has more converts than reason, as Mr. Pain once said, so lets leave this for it yaa Abadir!
  2. ^^Realisticly they will remain in thier remote colonies, but they must pull out from south [baydhabo, Kismayo, Mogadishu, Beledweyn, and other cities]!
  3. ^^^Adeer, Castro expressed these same sentiments against warlords long before these two men’s ascendancy to power. Granted that he has been a bit louder after recent Courts setbacks but so I have been and others as well! Why people intaa odaga u tuhmaan waa beyond me yaa Abaadir.
  4. ^^Waad haysaa Brownow, let habash get out first then we can talk where to go from there!

  6. Wayxaka yaa Castro ! Horn, quite honestly Kismayo is no longer my concern; I see the whole southern Somalia under Ethiopian occupation. But it doesn’t sound strange to me. Interestingly enough I have noticed Morgan standing side by side with the old man during Falls visit! Governance as it were is not a one-day’s purchase deal; it requires a vision and commitment. A commitment to something without a positive vision of what and where to take it is a clear recipe for a perpetual destruction. The old man has been many a times found to be guilt of that! I don’t know if you hear about the story of al Farazdaq and Jariir, two talented men with strikingly different upbringings! Al Farazdaq, an urbanite and renowned poet, had persistent poetic exchanges with Jariir, a man who was immersed in the nomadic culture and known to have insisted on tribal nobility. The two men had, as I said, running duals and often exchanged verbal cross-firings. One day Jariir heard that Al Farazdaq threatened to a musician called Mirbac! Al Farazdaq the man whom Jariir considered to be a lesser man than he issued a credible threat that he will kill Mirbac and most people believed it! Jariir though remained unconvinced; زعم الفرسدق أن سيقتل مربعا فأبشر بطول السلامة يا مربع ! Al farazdaq threatened to take Mirbac’s life, said Jariir. But if indeed al Farazdaq is the only danger Mirbac faces, oh Mirbac you shall forever enjoy peace! Implicit in Jariir’s verses is the notion that a threat made by a softy urbanite is not to be taken seriously. For such a threat is not a credible threat. Likewise, if indeed the revival and return of Somali statehood is expected from the current leadership who makeup this tfg, I shall forever remain skeptical about such a proposition, and peace and reconciliation shall forever remain afar!
  7. ^^lol@Presidential powers. Waryee Taako, malaha horn baa ku bajiyey sow adigaba durbaba dastuurka nagu dul aqriyey .
  8. ^^ Jimcaale--let us defer this Yonis to Sayidka, shall we? Bal nin adiga kuu shara, adna adan shaxeexayn Shuqulkii yimaadana, shiqiyoo aan yeelayn Oo aan shaqaaqiyo, shuushuuda deyneyn Oo shiranka madashaa, sheeddoo isaga bixi Oo shalay wuxuu dhigay, maanta kuu shirtirinayn Shareecadiyo khayrkana, shifta aan ka dhiganayn Shaata haddaad ka baridana, shanshada kuugu dhigahayn Oo shuuqiyoo kari, ibleys baa shidaayee Shanfac oday Alluu-naar,usna waa shidiyo hoog!! As that was not enough to subdue him, Sayid Mohamed continues: Bal nin gaal la shaarugay, shaabbaddiina lagu dhigay Oo shurugga fuudoo, shaarubbada aan xiirayn Oo ama shukaan wada, ama shuqul kaluu qaban Muslinkana shabbihid kule, usna waa shiddiyo hoog!! . Sayid, as he did many times before, exposes the pretense and lifts the façade such characters hide behind! Nin shaaficidu reebtee,ku shuhroobay fulannimo Shimbirahana aan hubin, hadday shababaxleeyaan Oo aan shahiidkiyo, shiishkiyo xarbada tegin Sharaarna aan deyneyn, usna waa shiddiyo hoog Gabay niman shib ka ahayn, misna shaacir ku ahayn Aan shaqalka ugu dhigin, madka iyo khifiyo shalaq Oo xarafka sheegiyo, xuduuddana shirrabihayn Oo shooliyoo oran, shafkaygaa wax jiifaan . Sheegaye midkaasuna, usna waa shiddiyo hoog.
  9. ^^godka lagu cadaabyow muxuu go'ahu been sheegay ! ^^The man was a hollow and sham contester! He could've wished his nemesis harm without making embty threats but he chose to go public with his wants. I heard he lost his camels for it, and Sayid's verses were composed in a timely manner! Sharmarkow, there was a similar story about another guy who sent his poems and chanted celebratory songs about Darwish’s defeat. Daraawishta qooqoni markay nagu qamaamaysay Ma u qarinay maadhiin qacliyo qabar aan loo sheegin Ma u qubatay sida roob guyoo yara….. Dhamaystir hee yaa Sharmarke!
  10. Horn, that Yonis wants this tfg to succeed is understandable! To support what he thinks is right is also logical! Even his emotional outburst, which he constantly spewed on this site, is justifiable in light of the relative successes his group recently made! What are not bearable, however, are his efforts to justify Ethiopian and American intervention by citing prophetic sayings. That was not only misleading but (I thought) it also amounted to a thinly veiled derision to the most basic Islamic principles. It’s not a hidden secret that tfg has at best (it might have been the case that it was used without its consent) aligned themselves with America’s global agenda to crush those whose mere existence America deems dangerous, Islamists. That type of compliance stems not out of any particular tfg stance against Islam or Muslims, we like to think, but instead it’s a practical conformity to the current world order. In other words tfg looked after its own survival and did whatever it calculated to stay alive! In that sense, the infamous prouncement that overflowed our cup of humiliation was based purely on a political convenience, and was not out of conviction! How else could tfg justify the death and destruction that befell upon its own people? The same people mind you that it claims to govern! Ethiopia’s invasion and its presence on our soil is not a matter of pride to any Somali with dignity. A smart tfg supporter would explain things in a different light. He could have noted that the death of those who were massacred in cold-blooded fashion while in a wedding celebration in their own village does not contribute to anyone’s success. He could have insisted that the current world structure does not allow a religious solution to our problems. Those who try to do it, no matter how sincere in their intent they may be, will be utterly crushed! It’s not a unique Somali phenomenon. It’s a global experience! And my attitude has been that perhaps defeat is the best teacher, and we will get it right next time IA. In the meantime let the victors worry how to keep the win, and let us, the losers, think ways to recover our defeat! It always happens! But Yonis resorted to do the unthinkable; labor to give those who selfishly brought enemy tanks to our midst a theological support. Our current national tragedy, in Yonis logic, is indeed a cause to celebrate! And in the process of defending the indefensible, the man amassed rubbish and proudly called it a body of religious evidence that supports tfg’s divine authority! Jinku wuxuu galaa meel insugu gooeye waa hore’e. No matter. Wuxuusse kaga daray style xumida; the ease he has in dolling out names; the forceful conscription and his attempt to subscribe us to extreme religious groupings; the shameless misquotes and broken references he attributed to respected scholars…and the likes! And some people think he has valid points that need be refuted. No surprise there either. ^^That is a sign of a deeply disturbed man, would you not say?
  11. Are you calling me khawarij --firqah dhlaalah-- now? That's beyond discussion--some one needs to restrain you wallaahi!
  12. That was a correction so don’t turn it into one those pointless duals of yours that you are seemingly so fond of, adeer! The theatre of the revolution was in the south and Puntland scholars resisted to prematurely move it to other regions but as you know actions speak louder than words and Jamac Cabdi-Salaam and Cabdullaahi CalXaashi with hundred of shabaabs fought in Bandiiradley! It’s impossible for Cabul-Qadir to fight but he gave his support and approved for those shabaabs who wanted to partake in the Jihaad against Ethiopia! As for the infamous pact between certain scholars and Cadde, that as we all understand now was a wishful thinking from both parts. Cadde’s hasty withdrawal was no less an indication of how his regional superiors disapproved of him and his appeasement!

  15. Waryee beenta aayar saaxiib! Puntland scholars including shiekh CQadir Nur Farax supported the icu! From Shiekh CNasir of Laascoonod, to Jamac Salam of Gaalkacyo, to the intellectual pen of Somali saxwa, Cabdullahi CaliXaashi, they all supported this movement adeer! In fact some of these great scholars mentioned above are either missing or wounded! There ofcourse hundreds of shabaabs from the said regions who got the shahaadah while fighting for the caused they believed in Bandariidley and Iidaale battles! ...just a little correction!

Even I sometimes don’t know how I may react to specific events, let alone my peers in SOL!
  20. LOL@Baashi! But this business of wedding three women in one night is strikingly unconventional and it makes me rethink the whole polygamy thing! Something is not right here! the irony of it is that what the Maker intended to elevate us from the animal is performed in a such way that boarders animalistic in its form and style! Far baa I taagan! Where’s shiekh Nur? Serenity, the chances of this happening is close to nill, isay!

  22. Originally posted by ThePoint: Really? - I thought you were more honest than that adeer! I know you cannot come up with as syrupy and partisan a quote like the one you made above that I've ever made on behalf of any TFG supporter. Nor have I described the TFG in anything remotely resembling your saviour like words for the ICU. Alas - have you too abandoned fairness and accuracy?! In Somalia, politics are based on pure tribal settings. If you are a Puntlanders or hail from Kismayo or Gedo, for instance, more likely than not you would tow the tfg line! You are expected to do that. Those who defy the norm, like Paragon did, and dare to freely formulate opinion and support what they think is right regardless of their tribe’s stance are courageous in my books! In this particular instance Paragon and others like him got it right in their support of icu! ICU, after all, was a genuine Islamic movement that reversed the culture of warlordism and made huge headways in terms of stabilizing that troubled city, Mogadishu. That the icu are defeated today does not change the fact that they were right and correct! Defeat is a universal experience and each one of us, if not already, will inevitably test it! Let me be clear, if you are from the said regions and support this tfg you are not doing something that’s particularly praiseworthy. That does not mean that you are doing for the sake of your clan. But those who broke away from their tribesmen's political views and chose principle over bloodline are indeed more courageous than many of us who are within their comfort zone! In that vein, my words though, admittedly, they had a partisan scent to them, still are not far from the truth! Of course the sad part of this is that I can’t say the same on many of us here! You were very vigilant about icu’s movement and loudly objected their gains! What happened to your observant side when it comes to Ethiopia, tfg,and America yaa TP?
  23. ^^Apparently more predictable than I !
  24. ^^Noted! You're becoming more predictable adeer.
