  1. ^^lol...that's fair. But again you know that i dont cry, it's just the weakness of some tfg supporters i protest against. the shabaabs ar no more kulahaa, am jin buu kula diririya marka .
  2. Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^Everyone is irrelevent to you these days, you had some hope for the old Nabadoon a while back. While we told you this was no more than a last gasp by the anti TFG groups. ^^I guess he is a new replacement for Indhacadde to you. I told you before and I am telling now, the fight in Mogadishu is not a tribal one. There are folks who want to make it look like there is clannish fight. The shabaabs are fighting you, fight with them adeer. Or as always keep singing to your tunes.
  3. ^^Emperor, you are indeed more intelligent and well-informed fellow to know that Eritrea is just a staging area for the Arab and Muslim world and for those who want to help the Somali resistance. The short plan is to show the tfg and its supporters that there is a genuine and real opposition, and armed one at that, against their alliance with Ethiopia so that they would come to the negotiation table as a part of this conflict, and not as its sponsors. The long-term plan of course is to drive Ethiopia out of Somalia quite violently if they refuse to leave peacefully. So as you can see having Eritrea on board is permissible in this case as it only serves the goals of Somalis and not the other way around as the case of Ethiopia is. I know you imply and talk as though there is a parallel between those who are sleeping with Ethiopian enemy and those who sought the help of Eritrea to drive Ethiopian occupation out. That’s just bogus adeer. And you know it. Eritrea has no imperialistic ambition in Somalia. It does have a beef with Ethiopia, but definitely not with Somalia.
  4. Ahmed Diiriye is irrelevant in this conflict. Ethiopians knew it but both sides were doing prep work for the final round.
  5. ^^ Somalitalk had it 3 days ago, yaa Duke! ! So if it's the authenticity of this fatwa that you doubt and question, consider yourself corrected and informed. Khalaf, i hear you adeer the complexity of somali politics is bit confusing. But the case of Ethiopian invasion should be clear and obviois one for all. Emperor, You are not forthcoming adeer. Eritrea is not on Somali soil. Never has been. Has no border with it. How is it you resort to such a weak armor is beyond me! What we have here is an internationally financed foe whose troops are stationed in the midst of our cities. The tanks that maneuvering in Xamar does not belong to the tfg. They are the symbols of Ethiopian invasion and I very much doubt that even defunct tfg can throw them out even if they want to. That’s why it requires a genuine movement to be borne and delivered to resist and ultimately drive them out.
  6. Maasha Allaah, bro Khalaf is with us on this. I am waiting for Duke and Aw Sakhar to come on board as well. ps--nuune, Sh. Shariif C/nuur Shariif Xasan isnt that him?
  7. lol@Cara. That is, he overachieved in committing a massacre with certain savagery. Any talk about his motives?

  11. ^^You know Cent I am really hopeful these days. Reason being that one of my biggest concern about this anti TFG group has been/is being addressed now. It never sat well with me to be part of a campaign of which the likes Ahmed Diriye’s of Mogadishu claims to lead. Now it seems both the Diaspora and the religious establishment of the sahwah realized that concern and are addressing it. It was yesterday or day before when SH. Aweys come out and stripped the clannish gown, as some have claimed, from this struggle. In London, both Somali academics and ICU leaders have quietly silenced a tribal movement that was about to ruin the whole struggle. Add all those to this fatwa and a clear and unmistakable picture is emerging: a united Somali front that’s against this tfg and its Ethiopian allies on the basis of sovereignty. Che, kasoo guur! Just kidding bro…but there is a big movement in Ohio and Minnesota that’s shaping up now. If you want join talk to Paragon, our ambassador at large.
  12. ^^And that's what was about to happen before the last rush. LOL@Paragon. I found some now but some are still missing... I like Cent's assertion. I wouldn’t be surprised if General Duke of SOL defects first.
  13. Che, it will do what religious fatwas do adeer. It will sanction and give a theological validity to the war in Mogadishu. And as Cent said, it's different because most Somali scholars are represented in it. That introduces a united front and takes away the perception of this war being a tribal one... ps--Somehow my uncles's names didn't show up in this list .
  14. ^^Do you recognise the names in the list yaa Che? It's houses most of Somali Muslim scholars adeer. That ammounts to something, methinks.
  15. ^^Perhaps your uncle would like you to go . Powerful, it is.
  16. ^^lol@iney qaraaraayaan. Gediid, if you concentrate solely on the business transaction between you and Guidance for a minute, you would find very hard to poke holes on this Group’s model. As a Muslim, you are not required to verify the validity of the finacial source from which they get their original investment. edit: or are we really required to do that? What you need to worry about is if the deal between you and them is Sharia-compliant. In this case, it is. As far as I can understand all the elements of Islamic bayc are met. It’s a joint business venture; a co-ownership between you and them where the losses and the profits are proportionally shared, and where their balance declines and yours increases and ultimately leads you to a full ownership of the home. As I said before your knowledge of the source of their financing does not add any value to the validity of their model. Again, what matters is the actual business transaction, its terms and conditions, and whether it adheres to the basic requirements of the Islamic commerce.
  17. ^^lol. He's very interesting character to say the least...
  18. ^^Gadiid, you sure can escape if you understand what Islam is objecting to. Islam does not object to profit rates that are put on commodities. The practice of lending money to make money on it does not sit with our basic Islamic teachings of doing business. That’s what the Mortgage companies do. I think Guidance Financial is different and is sharia compliant in its practices. It does not lend money. It invests in a joint business venture, like a peace of real state for residential/business purposes. When you buy a house from Guidance, the profit rates they charge are probably the same as the conventional interest rates--you don’t get a break from that. What’s different is that they don’t lend you money and put a rate on it. Instead they jointly invest with you in a certain product, and equally share both burdens and profits. It’s called mushaarakah. So Guidance Financial is a xalaal entity and you shouldn’t confuse people by saying that they are a mere front for Banks adeer.
  19. ^^I know! I am just shaming them to eternity...

  21. Islamic leader says Al-Qaeda does not exist in Somalia Monday, April 16, 2007 Mogadishu, Somalia (AP) - The leader of a radical Islamic movement that ruled much of southern Somalia before being driven out in December said "there is no Al-Qaeda in Somalia," disputing allegations that the group has links to the terrorist organisation. Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed, chairman of the Council of Islamic Courts, has rarely spoken in public since his forces were ousted during a swift operation led by troops from neighbouring Ethiopia. The United States and other Western powers have long accused the group of having links to terrorism. "Let me tell you there is no Al-Qaeda in Somalia," Ahmed told Al-Jazeera television in an interview broadcast on Monday. He said his movement "doesn't have any relationship with Al-Qaeda. It was chosen by the Somali people to serve clear objectives and aims and they were achieved." The interview was conducted in the last week in the gulf state of Qatar. The Islamic group's strict interpretation of Islam drew comparisons to the former Taliban regime in Afghanistan, with its leaders terrifying residents into submission with the threat of public executions and floggings. But many Somalis credited the council with bringing a semblance of order to the country. Since the Islamic movement was ousted by Somali government troops and their Ethiopian backers, Somalia has endured some of the heaviest fighting in more than a decade, with attacks blamed on insurgents linked to the Islamic group. Four days of bloodshed that started in late March killed hundreds of people -- and possibly more than 1,000 -- in the worst fighting in 15 years. On Sunday, the chairman of a committee planning a peace and reconciliation conference said the meeting would be held June 14 -- the second time it has been postponed. "We are trying to reconcile the Somali clans and we are waiting for international support," Ali Mahdi Mohmamed said. Also Sunday, insurgents battled Ethiopian and Somali troops using machine guns and mortars. The death toll was not immediately clear; one day earlier, two Somali soldiers were fatally shot in the back in an ambush. The battles in March started when Ethiopian troops used tanks and attack helicopters in an offensive to crush insurgents. The militants reject any secular government, and have sworn to fight until Somalia becomes an Islamic emirate. The UN refugee agency says more than 200,000 people have fled Mogadishu since the beginning of February. Somalia has been mired in chaos since 1991, when warlords overthrew dictator Mohamed Siad Barre and then turned against each other. A national government was established in 2004, but has failed to assert any real control. Source: AP, April 16, 2007
