Cadde Muuse : Laascaano waxaa naga qabsaday Ciidamo Shisheeye
xiinfaniin replied to Ojelle's topic in Politics
Why did he say these things? Things he knows very well aren’t true! An appeal to Ethiopia. But again Ethiopia knows it too. He was defeated by Somaliland, and not by Asmara or imaginary al-itihad, and he knows it. So why? I really want know how these stooges think and formulate their strategies! -
^^You lost me there then ! What was it adeer?

And here comes the predictable response ! Dismembered Somalia will not be at peace with itself! The disintegration will recursively continue! Look no further adeer. Look at Puntland. Maakhirland! Was it not part of Puntland yaa NGONGE? What gives assurances that once certain powerhouses get their pie of the broken Somalia, they will stay together? If Somalia, a country of about ten million, cant constitute a nation that’s at peace within itself, I would love to know what makes smaller, more clannish in its composition, succeed!

A good advice, I would say yaa Paragon! But what about if Somaliland refuses to withdraw and insists as it does that this is part and parcel of its territory, not to mention the missing link of its recognition package? Dodge that! And address this yaa Paragon: Somaliland wants to break away from a country called Somalia, which you say you belong to and have been quite passionate about its blight, its main benefactor is Ethiopia who is the chief beneficiary of our conflict. Where do you stand on that adeer? Sometimes you got to underline your overall philosophy and spell it out beyond these clichés of peace and stability. -

^^Waryee Hunguri how many malitias can you get to liberate LA? You know in SheekhaJacaylka uu heshiiskii kaaga baxay oo uu hadba magaalo rabo inuu qabsado under the pretex of locals are with us! Your contribution is needed. Adiga iyo Paragon ba wax badan baad Maakhir nagu wareeriseenne hadda Libaax alamtara soo dhaaf! SheekhaJacaylka iyo raggiisu waa burursanyihiin waa horeena guul ugu danbaysay…inay xudduudda soo xiraan bay rabaan, Ceelaayo is no longer safe. Hadda xattaa i suspect he is in LA taking pics to prove ragga xammaasadaysan wrong! -
Jimcaalow, you never know if the said Taano was arrested on behalf of Ethiopia for he urged his clan to come clean from the murdered wadaads. Kenya as of late became waddo halaq mareen, dadka waa uun layska xirtaa without legal basis. It really worries me! As for the confused militia holding the jewel of the south not knowing what to do with it, I can assure you things has changed and lot of people who were not part of this conflict before now are! It will take time but IA justice will be served.

^^Good reasoning yaa Red! But you are conveniently forgetting something more fundamental than mere ministerial changes. And that is these gentlemen are pro secessionism and people of that region are by a large margin pro-unity. There lie the conflict adeer. Had Somaliland forgone this separatism thing, many people including me would not care which entity SOOLers ally themselves with! Today the stakes has never been higher hence the probability of all out war is more truer than before… You see good Red you could genuinely believe in Somaliland’s claim of being a separate country than the rest of us, but to risk a war for it is madness as I see it for its not practicably winnable. This is what’s cooking for that region as we speak. 1- pro unity [being the majority and more resourceful] and pro secessionism in SOOL region are going to be fight it out and produce a winner for Somaliland’s agitation for war is unmistakable. 2- War between the two entities is imminent. This time my sources tell me it’s going to be a more protracted one. Because unless you believe Oodweyne’s dream induced analysis both entities are clans with limited resources neither of them can exact an utter defeat on the other. So there you have a two-layered civil war, one between SOOL communities and the other between the two political entities. Now I ask you where do you see the benefit in the situation adeer? -

The Point , You are reasoning with the stubborn here; these men are drunk with victory. It does not matter a bit if the said victory has negative implications in the long run. It’s a victory for them. And victory it’s. Somaliland has recklessly entered a conflict, and tribal one at that, and when all is said and done, the H clan will have its territory back. There is no Puntland to speak of. Whatever defense mechanism PL entity has raised during the civil war years has been allocated for Ina Yey’s protection. While most people are busy about today’s conflict I cant help but ponder on Ethiopia’s role here. These leaders hardly take bold steps like this one without Ethiopia’s consent. Cadde has spent few nights in Addis and supporters have furnished pics of him and Ethiopian officials. I really would like to know what is the Ethiopia’s role is! -
Oodweyne, you are raggeedii adeer ! Yet I think you’ve hastily joined this early, and perhaps premature, party for SL’s perceived victory to close the border . Indeed if that is what these fireworks are all about then you will be disappointed for this fight is a tribal fight no matter how certain politicians mask it with a national agenda. I don’t think that you believe what you wrote, namely that PL folks are inherently incapable of putting a fight against your gallant boys. That’s so Qudhac and Suldan-like talk. To be sure this setback is quite stunning one. SL has executed their drill with a particular cunning. They have LA intact. Their troops are close to the colonial line. On the other hand PL is weak and corrupt. Dispirited. The old stooges are without strategy other then to listen to Zenawi and co. But make no mistake you’ve probably did a great favor by dramatically taking LA and massing your boys at the gates of Garoowe. There is people and history in that region. There are clans. And unless you are betting on some unknown foreign help, you are fooling yourself to think you can maintain the momentum of this move for the weeks to come. Although the opportunity present in LA was so great any military leaders would’ve snatched it and done what SL have done, still I sense some desperation from SL’s side. The risk it has taken tells me that the effort of seceding has hit a deadlock. Now it’s shull ama shall just like SNM did when Ethiopia threw them out to appease Barre. It didn’t work then [the collapse of Barre was caused by other factors in the south mind you] and I don’t see any signs that it will work now. At the minimal what this risks is a long and protracted civil war between northern clans. A modest setback for SL is the possibility that this will spell out the end of SL’s military presence in that region and SOOL communities gaining sovereignty over their grazing-land and committing whatever credibility Riyaale had in his claim on this region to the flames so to speak. That’s my read on it adeer. Now igu shub and tell me what is Ethiopia’s role in all of this. Don’t tell me that you don’t give a wit of what Ethiopia thinks on this for you’ve agreed with me that Ethiopia is a regional power and sways a significant influence on both entities.

Maxaa dhacay nuune? There is some truth to BS's claim! -
Waa markii Oodweyne uu caqliga weylaha raacsan jirey ! I think you are underestimating your PL foes. The most interesting thing for me is the fate of Ethiopia’s delicate balance between the two. Can anyone shed any light on this? I am praying that they get busted this time…but it’s just a wish! As for Ayoub, your cover is blown brother so you may as well rejoice the death of the innocent in LA! Your glaring naiveté in thinking of this as the last step of closing SL’s imaginary borders is hard to miss here!
-
It has been taken, I confirm! Ayoub has a reason to celebrate. No one can spin on Puntland’s defeat on this. The prize of stoogism, and believing your enemy would safeguard your interest! Now I think NGONGE also has a point. Though Somaliland troops captured the city the thing is how long can they sustain it? What are the ramifications of this bold move? Is it a Riyaale move to distract other issues or is this a war agreed by all stakeholders in Somaliland politics? Who’s going to pay the prize of the insecurity created here? There are hard questions.
-
Wayxaka yaa Kashafa! This is really sad. It’s not unique to SL however. Political stoogism has sadly peaked everywhere in Somali territory. It’s in Puntland. It’s in Xamar. It’s in Kismayo. Each and every little entity has to perform at its up most ability to satisfy the Master. And to do that unfortunately they must sacrifice the innocent. It’s not that SL politicians hate ONLF folks. It’s just how the game of appeasing Ethiopia is played. In their mind, to survive SL must outplay other clients including PL. Today Cadde announced his chief achievements during his long stay in Addis, and that’s to allow official Ethiopian presence in PL just to be at par with SL! Those who are involved in SOOL politics or are in-the-know will tell you all the unity Isims attained has been discarded because Zenawi gave orders for both entities to keep the status quo, namely LA will remain the buffer zone for now. And he is not bluffing; reports say Zenawi troops has showed up in Buuhoodle to send the Master’s unmistakable signals. Also in Kismayo, reports are coming that there will be an official power handover to the militia who have shown their hunting skills recently by killing the good wadaads in the city. They have made their mark in the political stoogism and there’s no going back for them. They have brilliantly understood this game and expertly executed it. The old stooge will have the first symbolic defeat in his hands in first time. The good thing is that it will send another decodable signal about who’s calling the shots in Somali affairs. In Baydhabo, reports are coming that the Master has given his orders for Geedi to step down. The parliament vote has been halted to give the old servant a chance to gracefully exit and resign. Sixteenth of October is the date. If he does not do it by then, he will be forced to go by other means. At least that’s the plan whether it will work out smoothly as planned is another matter and remains unknown. ^^What does all this show you yaa jamaacah? The Ethiopian influence is quite extensive, and to free Somalia from its grip we need a comprehensive approach. My hope is that their picking on Geedi will backfire on them and will spell out the end of this project. In that case, at least Somalia will have a fresh start. And this time this game of stoogism and its subtle rules will be well understood by all parties…

These are breathtaking pictures---simply magnificent! Tell me more about this city yaa Caamir!

Marshalling for the moderator power eh! Smalltime-warlord supporters, die-hard secessionists, and Ethiopian tank riders [what a coalition! ] if you wanna vote down MMA cite different reasons than thus far mentioned. Or even use hunters logic: Awalbaad dekeno hore qabtay ood didisay cawshiiye'e Maantana biciidkaan damcaad daba ordaysaay'e Fediyaamo deerooy haddaanan dabada kaa toogan!
-
Hunguri, Your protest is unmerited; MMA did no wrong in this thread. Hiiraale goons have no point in their accusations. If you paid attention they’ve accused anyone who opposed their little warlord including Kashafa, Baashi, myself, Jimcaale, Che and others here. I never thought you could buy their cheap lines of argument, namely speak ill of our clan militias and you hate our clan and triba!. As for Kismayo, believe me the stakes are much higher than they were few weeks before and justice will be served; it’s a matter of survival and perseverance for some, and it’s no longer about politics. This is the good news: the culprits and their motives are known. MMA, your steadfastness is remarkable…theirs is a desperate shout~~

^^Allaah ha u naxariisto adna samir iyo iimaan Allaha ka siiyo. As for the Ojelle character, who combined peculiar mixture of feign of impartiality on a one hand, and thinly-veiled clannish tilt on the other hand, I would say come again adeer. You are limping with suspicion and deep mistrust typical of cyber goons who support the culture of m-o-o-r-y-a-a-nism! What happened in Kismayo is nothing less of a campaign of liquidating god-fearing, religious men in a bid to appeal to and win the trust of the Ethiopian handlers in the south. Very simple really! So when you say ‘cidda’ if you meant the folks who currently hold Kismayo and with whose clannish propaganda good Horn furnishes day and nigh here, then I am very proud to have spoken against their wicked agenda before and equally positive about my current position about them now. Let me add this; the Kismaayo situation is extremely untenable for the folks who were born and bread there and will IA change soon. If you however by ‘cidda’ meant the Gedo folks then you are not the only one who is misguided here. Alas, and you speak of ‘cuqdad’ when you yourself speak with a voice cracked by an audible emotion adeer! Who’s not feeling comfortable about the just talk of the Kismayo gangs? Who’s obviously without ease when others point at the culprits of the latest murders? Why accuse MMA or Xiin when things are so clear adeer? Come again.

MMA, there is a groundswell of anger against these clan militias. They have underestimated big time and they will pay a heavy price for what they have done for the last 10 days of Ramadan. Ina Taano is counting on a sham conference in October…but it will be an empty loom. For Horn and other gentleman, keep your ears on the ground I say. Playing the Ethiopian stoogism of the firs order wont safe you this time, and Sh. Mire’s death would not be a sheep’s death.
