Disclaimer: one cant participate in this brainstorming session under the influence of Xammaasad. Bro Nur, I missed your interjectory statements, or answers as you called them, in my piece! I was waiting practical answers from you yaa sheekhii! It’s very hard to infer a comprehensive position from what you wrote, brother! Let me formulate this in a beneficial way. Do you agree with the following statements? 1- The long-term goal is a shariicah complaint state in Somalia. 2- The short-term goal is to get rid off or minimize foreign influence and occupation in our country, and facilitate reconciliation and achieve consensus. The means to achieve the second goal, which is first in Somalia’s priority, could be following. 1- fight to push back the enemy and its local allies; the al shabaab strategy and Sayid Mohamed strategy. 2- - prepare for a long fight but in the meantime and with realization of the lack of isticdaad from your part inter a truce with the enemy and save your people. Take it from there yaa Nur! Bro Geeljire, I like the use of Somali people in your analysis. If truth were to be told Somali people are divided on this. The majority of them seem to be weak and passive. Few are putting a fight against Ethiopians and their allies. Fighting for the sake of fighting is no good. Unless you think strategy and planning are terms exclusive for dabo-dhilifs I demand you articulate both when you take the position of war is the only option before us! Then we can talk further.

That's much improved response yaa Sheh! I can assure you these men had amble fun in bed. Perhaps it's a sign of recognition from thier generous wives to share them... The fact that you are not against it regardless of the tempting spin you put on it is still a welcome development from Sheh!

Cadde Muuse:- Waxaan dagaal kula jirnaa qaswadayaal

Originally posted by Libaax-Sankataabte: Xiinoow, I think most people support Cadde's bold move against the criminal gangs and his latest attempt to "take the war" to their hide-outs. The old man is not sitting around anymore. As for his tenure as Governor, well ... that is a whole other topic for debate. Libaax, Cadde’s latest move is not going to have any effect as long the perceived musuqmaasuq and incompetence in his admin continues. As you know those latest criminal activity in Boosaaso hit Cadde hard where it hurts the most. I hope you also know that those incidents were not the result of a criminal gangs as others misleadingly attempt to describe them! They had political undertones and you know it. It’s not secret that Puntland had become a political framework where a particular sub clan either uses it to rise to the political platform of Somaliweyn or milk its riches with a greed unseen in that region’s history! I refuse to accept that a little police work here and there will resolve the underlying issues that caused Puntland’s decline. I expect these youths here to make such argument that fighting crime is supported by the masses but you my friend should perfectly know that the issues that plagued Puntland are much bigger then this transparent feign of security sweeps as Cadde’s circles would like to feed the glary. Adeer absent of a major reform or the return of Somali central state, Puntland will continue to diminish. I always knew it was a political shell but I hoped it would mature and transform. What Cadde did however borders irreversible damage; he poked holes in all aspects of Puntland’s organs. I must also be fair and say blaming Cadde alone would not solve any of Puntland’s problems. It would not also capture the correct causation of its demise. The old man played a major role in weakening that region’s political growth for he wanted to ascend the phantom power of being the head of Somali state. Ironically while Puntland’s sons were recruited to fight innocent elderly women in the Bakara market, dadkeedii nuglaabaa la qaxiyey and the fate of those forced to flee from the Bakara market is not that much different then the refugees of LA! But in all consideration Cadde’s must shoulder the biggest portion of the blame of Puntland’s demise for he was there in a sham pretense of being in a position of leadership whilst in reality he was just there to benefit his ilk in economic terms and conceded much of Puntland’s militia for the old man to achieve his goals in Xamar! Today substantial percentages of the folks who make up Puntland’s constituency are no longer part of it. There are good reasons for it! Unless those reasons are adequately addressed fake security sweeps would hardly, I am afraid, persuade the informed amongst us to believe otherwise! -
Originally posted by AfricaOwn: I'm saying this as tactfully as I can..Is really simple concept. No need to force people into the unity if they don't want to. Mogadisho continues burn fix that first...Somaliwayne can go to hell. That's called anarchy! All the unions are forced in some measure!

Its Coming (Kenya Opposition Calls 3 Days of Protest)

Originally posted by Somaliwayn1: xiifaniin i heard qiimaha bangada kor ayeey u kacday. I am having hard time understanding why some of us in the Diaspora fail to see these useless protests that achieve nothing but instability in Kenya for what they are, just ineffective and counterproductive! -
Originally posted by me: ^Why? Because: 1- Riyaale is not here in America for recognition. 2- By protesting against something that does not hold water in the regional venues let alone international ones, these protesters will indeed highlight separatist issue and give it the propaganda it so desperately needs. 3- Riyaale and his team are seeking some funds for that region’s development, and I believe its good thing and you should not protest against it. For this region is part of your country and its development is your development.

^^Adeer niether che nor I have any influence in the goings of PL. What you see is a unmistakable signs of a decaying entity. There's reason why some regons are seceding and others are being taken over. There is a reason why a peaceful city all of a sudden becomes the center of criminality. if you dont mind tell me why all those things are happening and what you thing Caddes' role is. -
Cadde Muuse:- Waxaan dagaal kula jirnaa qaswadayaal
xiinfaniin replied to Peace Action's topic in Politics
Che, I could not agree more. But he is a political misfit of the first order and he is not going to do that. In my estimation Cadde's fate will not be that different than the fate of the proverbial hyena that gutted the malnourished Caweer, the she-camel, in the hope of nourishing himself of it not knowing that the loom of Caweere’s belly would contain his death trap… Allow yaa ayyaan leh oo caawa Caweer ka kacdaa . That was, it was reported, his last words! It was too late then for the hyena, and it will be too late for Cadde to gracefully exit Punland politics... -

Che, I think most people in that region have similar sentiment like yours. This man succeeded to destroy that entity. Considerable blocks of that community have now unfortunately resorted to halt Cadde’s criminal enterprise by equally criminal means!
