  2. ^^ It already did according to some reports! But as long these tribal incursions do not cause masses to flee, it's no bigy! And the man with two extra balls understand when the big cat’s away the mice tend to play!

  7. Originally posted by Ceyrow jr.: xiinfaniin, Alshabaab stands for something I can quite relate to, which is Islamic idealogy and the fight against evil doers such Ethiopia and the TFG. Now who is looks confused? I see you are once again bringing that old tired line of since Ethiopia has relations with somaliland then you are contradicting. loool. Adeer I am an individual and somaliland's relations with Ethiopia is alot different from the case of seccesion. I support the will of my people in somaliland, howver I am against any military relations with ethiopia which would add to the problems in S. Somalia. That is what it is. I dont' know why you are having hard time getting that simple straight forward answer. Adeer the fact you believe in Somali dismemberment is incompatible with the political objectives alshabaabs espouse. That is the intersection of difference between what you pretend to believe and what the reality actually is. Unless you believe alshabaabs are reactionary group who once Ethiopia is defeated will vanish and go away, you must’ve thought the consequence of your stance! Forget about Somaliland for a second. Don’t you, yourself, believe separating from Somalia on the bases of colonial sketches? By holding that view, do you realize the degree to prostitute to the both regional powers and the global ones to attain that phantom state? I do realize that you as an individual have no control over Somaliland entity and what relationship it may or may not have with Ethiopia. It’s you who seem confused or feigning confusion when you hold two contradictory positions at the same time! Somaliland leaders do not shy away to boast about their relationship with Ethiopia. The mere fact they want to separate entails making hard choices and they made those hard choices. It’s you who is, at least in your argumentation here, failing to make that choice adeer! Tell your story adeer! I don’t believe you’ve told your story!
  8. Emperor, do you think every little ruckus that happens in somalia alshabaab is behind it? Do you have any evidence for the assertion that the Galkacyo insecurity and recent killings have anything to do with alshabaab fighters? I mean, alshabaab targets are known i.e. government employees, security officials, UN agencies workers, and like. But who killed Galkacyo businessmen and community elders? Alshabaabs have no clannish agenda, if you did not know! Having said that, I don’t think they have any solution to our problems, and it’s really sad to see so many youths in their prime being wasted…reminds me the xadith ‘yubcathu biniyyaatihim’!
  9. ^^That's good and dandy adeer. But you are also supporting something that's qiute contradictory to what these good folks are fighting for, no? Yes you are and there lies your confussion. Share your story adeer!
  10. ^^I have a tough message to share with you yaa Redka! Believing in a contradictory causes is no wise possible. It just isn’t adeer. I don’t believe that is what you believe though. I think you are just confused and don’t know what you are talking about! To know for sure, why don’t you share your story? I am sure you have a story to tell! Perhaps the war between snm secessionist ideologues and internationalist alshabaab fighters for your heart and mind has already been won. I cant for certain say who won that war however. It may be, just may be, what we see here is the relics of what once was a great mujaahid on these boards. Tell your story adeer, just tell it!
  11. Awdal has a peace. Northern regions though politically unstable, enjoy a relative peace and security. Put things in the context of the region... Waagii dagaaladda sokeeyaha loo xiiso qabay baa qabiil qabiil loo shiray. Nin Sayid lo oronjirey i think he was from dhoobley baa reerkiisii la shiray baa la yiri. in short wuxuu yiri: dhulka ninkii noolaadaa u harayya ee yaan la dhiman. War hoy yaan la dhiman, i say!
  12. Che, I think you have a point there. Who said some balance is not needed. Malika, ninku nin xun maahee ee ballan aan aniga iyo isagu wada galnay baa iiga baxay. Marka colkeen waa dhaanle whatever that means!

  18. A & T, perhaps if you send us a postcard from the battleground, I'll drop my Diaspora warrior label! On a more serious note, you don’t have to run away from this label. If you believe war is the only option we have, you should defend that proposition. It’s you who came here shooting words from his pen and accusing people with myopia and like. And lest you construe this cyber debate as an attack on your persona, it’s not. Your pains are probably real and unjustly inflicted, but sharing them does not advance your argument. It does not add meaning to the pool of information of Somali sufferings we already have. Again that’s not to minimize your tragic experiences. The opinion of your people is already divided. I am not dividing it. 18 years of unrelenting civil war had hardened people’s stances. I don’t believe more wars have the answer to our people. I don’t believe war is the only option for us, Somalis. In fact, I believe Somalis of today have no capacity to fight in a meaningful way for the reasons I’ve already delineated here! My yardstick for success is probably different than yours. I am not impatient adeer. To the contrary, I am willing to lose today’s battle to win tomorrow’s wars when I am more united and better positioned. Sh. Sharif raac waryee waxba ma hayside. Don’t lose your power of positive thinking…and think big waryee
