Eed iyo Jawaab: Ahmed Godane vs. C/raxmaan Jiniqow.

Horn, alshabaab is part of Somali actors, and so is Sh. Sharif. In my opinion both have similar goals but take different approaches. It's childish to suggest that Sh. Sharif is traitor simply because he abandoned an org he was not part of. He used other means to achieve his objectives. If you are under the elusion that alshabaab and Sharif ever belonged to the same organization you are wrong. They never were. And that’s ok. What is not ok is the notion of ‘if-you-don’t-follow-my-way-you-are-the-enemy’. That is so risky and dangerous adeer. That hard, no-nonsense approach my work against warlords, but it will fail miserably if used against other political entities. I support peaceful dialogue because Somalida baan aad u aqaannaa, haddaan la heshiisiin haddaad arkaysaa maxkamadihii oo indhacadde hogaaminayyo oo Merka iyo Kismayo weerar ku ah. Haddaad arkaysaa xamar oo dhowr xaafadood u qaybsan. Jabbuuti with all its anomalies is the closest we have for national political reconciliation. Sharif is the epitome of that noble approach. And Ethiopia understands it very well. That is why she is appealing to the prevalent clannish sentiment in the south to abort it. It’s why it’s supporting Madoobe to convene a parliament session to select a president. Red Sea has every right to support alshabaab. They’ve earned it. Where the brother slips is when he repeats Internet propaganda to advance alshabaabs cause. That’s unwarranted. If Jabbuuti caravan is aborted, alshabaab’s approach will be the only reasonable alternative provided they have not played a role to abort it. That's the last word. -

“Although many of the vehicles’ security enhancements cannot be discussed, it is safe to say that this car’s security and coded communications systems make it the most technologically advanced protection vehicle in the world,” Nicholas Trotta, Assistant Director for the Office of Protective Operations, said in a statement source

Peace action, The rationale for doubling the Parliament seats was to sideline what is perceived to be a corrupt PMs who have no regard for national considerations. It was to dilute their vote so it will not have the decisive effect it currently enjoys. While it has not been officially publicized or communicated, the method to distribute these seats will not be that much different then the one current parliament is based on. It will be 4.5. Only this time the head of opposition will have the luxury to select whom who deems representatives of his political platform. That itself could open another quandary as it will be hard to reconcile selecting the new members on clan bases yet denying the clan Isims to have a say in that selection. But that could be sorted out. What is difficult to control is Ethiopia’s meddling and continual interference in shaping the politics of Somalia. Considering Madoobe’s pronouncements, Ethiopia’s shrewdness will be tested soon. There is a hope if the Jabbuuti gathering takes place. But if a president in selected in Baydhabo, as Madoobe apparently wants, then the whole thing could go back to what it was prior to TFG’s inception.

Abu Zubeyr is an honest man. Unlike many, he did not merely talk the talk. He walked it. He’s a genuine fighter. And there is no dispute on that. He is not a scholar however. Janaqow is. Being able to cite raw nusuus does not prove ones grasp of the deen. And that is exactly what Abu Zubeyr has done. Contrast that how Janaqow delved in the intricacy of Somali question. How he went back in time to demarcate the theological slippery slopes of previous era. How he went on a great length and laid bare the well-founded justifications in taking the route Jabbuuti group took in search of peace and political stability. If you are still confused about these two men, pay attention to their closing arguments. They could not be more divergent. Abu Zubeyr: the world is divided between kufri and muslim. We are on the right side of that equation. Those who oppose in the name of culumaa are serving our enemies. This is not new. It happened before. The fight shall go on regardless of what Uncle Sheikhs say. Janaqow: the world is much more complex than how alshabaab youths depict it to be. Those who oppose us are Muslim Somalis, we are all Muslims but our views and approaches are very different. The takfiiri manhaj is very dangerous. Alshabaab brothers are wrong. Talking to the enemy has a solid religious justification. The rationale of talking to the other Somali political actors is very clear. It’s to lessen the bloodshed and find a peaceful way out of this mess. Doing so cant be the basis of takfiir. -

Gabdho waad is maqlaysaan. Haddaad North America joogto asii A&T dani kaa hayso, warkaaga isoo gaarsii. This makes me think about a business venture. Think about implementing a Sendwife.com Internet service. It will be a perfect solution for the able men like A&T to find a second wife. But that’s just a thought.
