  1. ^^Easy with the swagger, Che. The other thread is a more of academic one analyzing his oratory skills. This one of yours is a news item. Note the difference. Hawlaha ha isku qaldin awoowe
  2. ^^That is the spirit brother but we refuse to convert the Qasru Ri'aasah to a merfish place . Adiga iyo Generalka waa inaan soo ogaada waxaad isku tihiin
  3. Good Call Aw Dhubad and Emperor. A concluding remar are in order however. Horn, reer gedaha wax badan baan isku nahay. I love them. But since the famous Koofiye-caddes, Sh Cabdilles , and Gacaliye's were replaced with Hiiraale and Biixi wanting to create new political reality a task such poor men could never be equal to I thought folks in your neck of the wood made a vital mistake in the political department . Remember when Cabdille Sheekh was courting the Central regions clans for votes for his federal seat, Cabdi Galayax, a nomad poet from the heart of that famliy found Cabdille’s political ambitions quite astounding. To register his anger he did what he knew best and sung his famous poem: Cabdillow codkaaga iyo la maqal camaladaadiiyye’e Carrabkaaga hadalkaad ka tiri caalamkuu yimide’e Caan weeyye xaajoynkaad **** ku kulanteenne’e Hayyeeshe cabsiyyo kuuma geyn cayn kalaa jiriyye Celiga iyo reer diinigu waa cumar walaalahee’e Mid hadduu cudrado kii kalaan caafimaad qabine’e Inkastood carrada meeraysattoo cishaba meel joogto Hadhow baad cirshiga noogu iman cagga baruurow’e Compare those days with Hiiraale’s mediocrity today awoowe and clannish animosity he succeeded to create between Gedo and Jubbooyinka. And we have seemingly intelligent although ignorant about the historical parallels people like you who wants to equate the failings of a warlord with political fortunes of an entire clan and cry foul when political actualities are pointed out. Gedo or no Gedo, the pm will be supported by most somalis. The discussion was never inaysan qolo somaliya degani aysan geyin pm ka positionka. It was the politics of it awoowe. Where's Ducaysane when you need him the most... ps. Juje man is back with the last in teh other thread... pps. waryaayya waa inoo berri marka xammasadu yara degto .
  4. this man may be a surprise choice for Sharif notwithstanding with xiin's shuruud
  5. ^^War adna ukaadi waligaa waad hiillin jirtey'e
  6. ^last time we met him he told us that the international community is behind his candidacy.
  7. ^^Aaliyah, sister Glaydh will be a good PM. His professorial propensity is known though. Sharif may feel Huppert Humphrey Institute student in the presence of Glaydh .
  8. Horn, I am a southern myself, and I know the south that matters awoowe . Interesting though that you talk about practicality and not mention the center of gravity in the south outside of Mogadishu, the city of Kismayo. The strategically located city of Merca a stone throw from Xamar. And the city of Baydhabo, a capital whose cultural and political influence many towns lie. All those major cities are in the control of Alshabaab and some allied Islamist forces with similar objectives. The clan you are talking about does not factor in this equation adeer. Sharif cant and will not undermine those admins, Horn. If he does it will be to his peril. He will have to work with them, not subvert them within as you are suggesting considering some noisy activist group vying for a mere political position. That does not mean someone with the right qualitifications who is from teh south can not be named as a pm. It could happen but not for the reasons you have listed. I am not sure what you are talking about when you say PL is not represented in the south. I mean apparently PL is a political arrangement that’s far removed from the south. No one said PL has a control in the south Somalia. If you are talking about clan representation, I think as always you are mistaken.
  9. ^^Do you know him Emp? I have never heard of him. But another addition i suppose
  10. Horn, It seems I am trying to reason with an unreasonable man but try I shall. Garbahaarray or Gedo for that matter have no political clout in the clannish sense just like the regions of Jubbooyinka and Shabbeelle have none. The reason is very simple. Those regions fall under an Islamic administration that is agnostic to tribal affiliations you apparently would like good Sharif to consider. If he wants to appease the admins in those regions, as he must, he will have to talk to alshabaab and other Islamic groups that control it as he already begun to do. If you saw few officers of your kinsmen in the alshabaab entity don’t mistaken them to represent your clan. Case in point: the governor of Kismayo is from SL. The governor of Merca is from PL. and the governor of Baydhabo is from Central region. I don’t think you are ready to argue that they represent their respective regions in the traditional sense. I am not sure if Sharif is ultimately going to base his decision on qualifications or politics. But I have hunch that politics will play a significant role. And it’s this practical politicking that we are speaking to. In that verse, and as you already admitted to some degree Puntland has undeniable influence on how Sharif’s PM gets selected. It’s there for all to see. Some don’t like it and resent it. Some celebrate it openly. I assert you and good Cosoble are in the first group. Tough luck, I say. My candidate was Sharif. I want him to succeed, and for that reason I want him to consider the politics of this task. Choose some one who satisfies this silly 4.5 thing, and can dampen the velocity of PL’s opposition. As for the Islamist side, Sharif does represent them politically. Militarily, current ongoing negotiations between him and armed side should accommodate any security discrepancies. After two years, Somalia shall have a fairer system of politics. We all hope. Adigu tuhun ku noolow weligaa, oo sidii naag masayrsan hadba qof ku bood ya Horn. And that's the last word.
  11. ^^For the PM yes or you yourself are in the race? Are you ready Emp? Sidii qoolaydii aan ku bad gelinaa
  12. ^^You didn't tell me your preference thoug, Emp .
  13. lool@another mulah with a bit of civility
  14. Emp, Sharif has no grudges against those who went with Cadde. I am not sure about Jangeli's chances though. Glaydh seems to enjoy a far more better political network than the man from Canada We shall see
  15. ^^What are you suggesting adeer? You’ve come here indicting PL for the words of a politician from a different region of the country. Have you no decorum adeer? I mean can you not see the inherint weakness of such assertion? To be sure, PL has rightly or wrongly resorted to an untenable tactic before and it may do so again. But that is neither here nor there. Those in the running for the PM in Jabbuuti hardly need PL’s approval to get it. It will definitely help if Faroole indorses them though. Sharif’s reported preference for a candidate from PL is practical one and politically understandable. Do you not agree with his calculations? Why? Note: talk like adult adeer.
  16. Horn, you seem angry for no reason adeer. Why is that if i may ask?

  18. Paragon, Wasiirkii Boostada iyo Isgaarsiinta ee dawladii Maxamed Siyad. Horn, what did he say about PL, and why did you trust him so readilly?
  19. ^^lol@ drinks like fish. I have never heard Galaydh's balwad. I thought he was very clean as far as having balwad goes. He may not get along with the good sheekh though Peace Action, that's interesting candidate. I heard he is Jabbuuti.
  20. Libax, I am hearing a formal process has been put in place in the last few days. A lot of consultation going on both with international C and internal parties. As I siad before this may take few days or another week to be finalized. Where's Juje today?
