Ducaysane alshabaabi , awoowe believe me I never heard this man before today, and I dont quite understand the guilty you are talking about. The focus of my analaysis is not this man, alshabaab is. I let you and Gabal concetrate on the deceased and why he was the best that ever lived.
  3. ^^Its account I thought had some insight, good Gabal. And actually it's not that far from what Gedonet has here I am sure his death will be avenged, but that is not what I am interested in awoowe, I am interested with the fate of those who made war and voilance as thier only strategy
  4. With all the versions I read about the death of this man, Puntlandpost’s analysis makes most sense. Apparently some in alshabaab leadership wanted to garner support from certain community in Kismayo but did it the wrong way by inviting marxuum Dirir, who was a controversial man as we learnt today. That caused a rift within the alshabaab military leaders, which probably translated into the execution of marxuum Dirir. This is also part of the pitfalls of the conflict between HI and AS in Kismayo.
  5. The conflict is still between HI and AS. It has not taken a clannish dimension yet. The death of this man further destabilizes alshabaab organization. That is my reading of it.
  6. alshabaab did what they do best and that is to execute. but Dhubad is right this will probably speed up alshabaab's fall. at the minimum it will cause further division within thier ranks as reports already indicate
  7. Puntland post has interesting insight here about the death of Mr. Daauud

  24. ^^If it makes you feel better about this debate, here is where I stood in different times in a chronological order. Supported Yey’s TFG Liked Courts, but still supported peace efforts between the two entities, and preferred TFG arrangement to be preserved Supported Courts after Ethiopia invaded much of the South, and captured Xamar Supported peace efforts between Yey and Asmara group with no preconditions Supported Sharif’s election Supported peace efforts between Sharif and armed Islamist movements with no precondition Today support Sharif, and oppose those who found profession in continuing this conflict That does not depict a man who forced himself into a corner, as you alleged. I support approaches, not men; I try to stay with the big picture, and avoid my best not to be immersed in the gloomy details of the Somali conflict. Sharif wants peace, not war. He prefers political settlement through dialogue to armed conflict. Alshabaab got in the way. The conflict therefore continues. Where do you stand? Unlike you, I don’t care where you stood yesterday. But please don’t tell me it’s all Gaalo’s fault as your previous post implied . Xag un awoowe. Xag un, please!
  25. Now I am truly disappointed with you, Castro. You-were-against-Yey-before-but-support-Sharif-now argument is the weakest and lowest I have seen. It has been subjected to the rigorous reasoning I mentioned and found wanting. That you went there is the disappoint awoowe . After reading several posts of yours, I still don’t know what you stand for. It’s apparent however that you are firmly opposed to the current TFG. And on that account, ya Castro raggaagaad ku jirtaa awoowe.
