Nur, with all due respect brother, your post is a general description of known Islamic concepts. You failed to take up the issue I raised and conclude one way or other. Remember I’ve asked the questions below: Do you believe TFG is dawladah riddah? Its ministers? Soldiers? Those who support them and side with them ? and why? Your long response, can at best be interpreted: I don’t know whether TFG is a dawladah riddah or not. At worst, your post can be used to conclude that TFG is on a slippery slope . And that requires no point-by-point rebuttal from me, ya Nur. As I said before, TFG IS NOT a kufr entity. Alshabaab IS NOT the righteous group in this fight. This fight is not about kufr vs. Islam. It’s a civil war between brothers. To think it’s Islamicly correct, and to justify it on the basis of defending Islam is the real tragedy. And that is fitnah I spoke about. It’s Sharif today, it will be Ummul tomorrow, and Sh. Cabdul Qadir next…wa hakathaa. P.S. my friend NGONGE is missing the point of this discussion. Marka waa uu maadeeynayaa ee ha daliishan

Piracy hits Puntland economy, brings vices-leader
xiinfaniin replied to Thankful's topic in Politics
Thankful, you are missing the point awoowe. Boyah should not be the focus of Puntland State or that of international community. Piracy should be. In that strategy formulation, piracy crime should be fought with whatever weapon and method permissible and available to the admin. Recruiting from the piracy members and reforming them is not a new method to fight established criminal enterprise. If Boyah is helping the state fight piracy, it should be seen as a progress. What would the objection be? Retribution? The Security Council report you're quick to cite is riddled with data with coffee-shop-talk quality, and I am sure the organization under whose name such nonsense was compiled is feeling embarrassed. -
^^The script got angry now. But since my IT request is in NGONGE's queue. Let me say more on the matter. It's my valid observation that keligi-mulsim goons prefer to talk in generalities. They tend to claim knowledge they don’t have, on the basis of which they speak in absolutism terms. One cannot claim jihad while 99% of the casualties his war caused are Muslims. One has a fundamental problem when fellows Muslims are always on the look out, watchful of one’s violent actions that negatively affect them. In the last two years alshabaab wars caused significant exodus from Somalia’s major cities. Where did the exiting population go, you wonder? They did end up in refugee camps across the border with the neighboring countries, forced to beg UN doll outs. Alshabaab and those who support don’t consider that as strategic defeat to the Somali nation they claim they are fighting for its liberation. It has become easy for them to take innocent lives, regarless of whether it's Islamicly sanctioned or not. And with the rate they are killing Somalis in the name of liberation and jihad, Somalia will have no greater enemy than them. In their periodic press conferences, alshabaab issue threats against stable regions, threatening by waging wars against those admins in the north on the basis of being riddah

Piracy hits Puntland economy, brings vices-leader

Originally posted by Thankful: However since Faroole came to power Boyah has done many interviews and walks around freely. If Faroole wants international assistance, he needs to start arresting these kinds men and severe their close relationship with one another. Until he is arrested, he will not be taken serious. What about if Boyah is no longer a pirate, and the Puntland State deems his expertise on the matter useful to its fight against piracy problems? -

Quick summary, translation: Ahlu Sunnah wal Jamaacah group commit similar or more heinous crimes than alshabaab. They regularly killed reciters of quran in Galgaduud region simply because they worship Allah directly and refuse to have a mediator between them and their maker. Why is Xiinfaniin not condemning these killers and is only talking about the mistakes alshabaab make? Alshabaab mistakes and errors pale in comparison with the blunders Sufi group commit. If Xiinfaniin has no hidden motive, why does he focus only on alshabaab? Response: Xiinfaniin is one of those people who thought Somalia’s solution would be that much closer if men of religion were in the lead. Xiinfaniin has solid knowledge of Somalia’s dacwah history and understands very well Islamist aspirations of establishing more independent country, more fairer system of governance, more progressive society that drive its values and guidance from the Koran and the literature of Prophet Muhammad (csw). His analysis is constructed in that context…holding alshabaab ultimately responsible of not only dashing the hopes of putting Somalia in the sphere of political Islam, but also contaminating the name of Islam and what it stands for. He therefore does not put much emphasis on concocted groups that only exist as a reaction to alshabaab’s excess and madness such as Ahlu Sunnah wal Jamaacah. Xiinfaniin does not condone what these groups do in the name of fighting alshabaab. He does not believe the acts of these groups constitute riddah, he believes the existence of these groups is tolerable and sees fighting them unnecessary, as it’s impermissible. Alshabaab, and the keligi-muslim mentality they propagate is the elephant in the room. We need to confront it.

In the recent clashes with Ahmed Madoobe in Jubbooyinka, after the fall of Dhoobley, alshabaab slaughtered, hadde waa slaughtered, a young daaci. His crime? His conviction that the wars alshabaab are engaged in is fitna wars. Alshabaab’s platform is to ‘bakhtifiy’ ( all courtesy for the bakhtification phrase is due to Kashafa) their opponents. They have reached a dangerous threshold where opposing their strategy, and objectives is equal to riddah. That is why they find so easy to label established Muslim scholars who oppose their methods, culumaa’u doolaar. Those who critique alshabaab theology are labeled Murji’ah! Slogans of jihaad, gobonimo, sharaf, difaaca dalka iyo umadda will never justify the killings of other somalis on the basis of riddah.

^^Perhaps you’ve been a bit hasty with your rescue mission, ma istiri No amount of scholarly onslaught can defend a group that calls everyone a kaffir or find religious justifications for the theology that deems alshabaab’s opponents riddah. And that, good NGONGE, was the point of this discussion. It’s settled now.

nuune suu usoo noqdayba wax hala destroy gareeyo baa kasoo hartay but i got your point, you are attacking the heart of the problem. ngonge and at&t should not be the only subject matter expertise fo this script baad leedahay. that would've been all good and dandy but I am afriad it is more complicated than that since there is ownership/authorship rights involved war bahasha rag muruq iyo maal ba ka galay oon ciyaar ciyaar uga fuquyn
