  1. waxaan qaban nimaan qaadanjirin looma qooq tago’e Tabari waa meesheed, laakiin Laascaano, WidhWidh, and Buuhoodle give context for Hargeysa admin’s propaganda and pseudo electioneering. The ultimate question is who would benefit the most from the fake returns from SSC?
  2. ^^^ Caku Oodweyne Oodweyne is tempting us to revisit old debates regarding the lack of Somaliland’s strategic value as a separate state. South Sudan proponents appealed to religious sensibilities of Sudan’s various ethnic blocks, not to mention the resources that lie within that region, which not only promises easy exploitation by the powers that be but also backs proposed independence with economic viability for the eventual state. Kosovo borne out of the break up avalanche that resulted the fall of Communist block, and as such her emergence as a state was politically palatable to the powers that be. Which leaves us with that old question this forum asked fanatics like Oodweyne whose pencil has never broken in propagating a sovereign, Somaliland narrative, and the question is: what does Somaliland offer to those whose recognition it continuously prays to warrant their commitment to prop up a region in a small, failed state? Somaliland status seems to have been decided on the very merits of that question, which is why in the policy priority of the concern circles, Somaliland IS a relatively stable region in a country that continues to have political and security instability. Changing that status is not easy. It will never be easy.
  3. Oodka, good that you are finally coming into grips the hard truth that is before you. Those discussions are SOMALI discussion, and Somaliland in the eyes of the world is part of Somalia. In your last post you made that unfavorable reality a bit palatable…tell the Love Teacher to change the title of this post to reflect it.
  4. Me, opposes SL on secession grounds. Puntland, he opposes them on reer fulaan reasons. Mansa Munsa as a man from Taleex rules Puntland.
  5. Oodweyne, You dont know what you are talking about. And I mean it. Puntland is in a good shape when it comes to donnor relations. Where it's failing is her territorial claim that is challenged by internal political conflict by various sub clan groupings.
  6. Mansa Munsa I share your sentiment; SCC needs a breathing room to sort things out. What is happening in Buuhoodle is a great begining. Kan yare Me, iyo kan Daaroodka ku marqaamay ha u bixin awoowe
  7. Puntland got what it wanted. 7 mil, and 14 mil allocation. Only if you guys know what you are talking about. This group has no credibility.
  8. ^waa hagaag awoowe Dont get disappointed. This thing is working out just fine to frustrate and abort the secessionist agenda .
  9. Faroole should not comment on the internal politics of that community. His admin should facilitate, in whatever fashion acceptable, a political reconciliation between various sub clan groupings. What is happening in Buuhoodle is a progress toward unity. That secessionist think it is good for them is quite surprising really.
  10. Mansa Munsa, you are being emotional brother. Drop this perception of Puntland as a state with an standing army. Consider it as a colleciton of clans. If you hop on that reality, hadda i dhegeyso awoowe. ****, *****, iyo nimankii Xudun lahaa meeye? Explain to me the dual on WidhWidh, my brother? Soo laba ilma adeer ah maaha? Inta reerku tartamayo dhexdiisa, looma hiilinkaro!Period! Waa godob siyaasadeed. Oo waa tii Khaliif lahaa, Caligeri docmood iyo haddaan Hagar daguugsiiyo, War Da-aroodka yaa kula ahaan daaqadbaa maqane'e Dalbac cannot be killed by Faroole darwiishs, and you know why, dont you? Moral support for those wanting to safeguard the unity? Yes. Military onslaught on the dissenting sub clan groupings whose political and militia muscle is what made LA change hands? A big NO! As Faroole, waa kan gabaygiisii, gacantii nin lihi goynayaa waa gumudantaaye, nin walaalki geed ugu jiraa geesi noqon waaye [ June 04, 2010, 11:27 PM: Message edited by: Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar ]
  11. Oodka, There is a big difference between the Somaliland army you created in your imagination (the one you said can conquer PL) and the ragtag militia that are waving the SNM flag, roaming around politically hospitable villages in that region. Lets leave it at that. If you were wise you would not be so sure that you would capture Garoowe, a place that had, as history attests to, the sturdy horse of Somalia’s political and military race .
  12. Maaddey Script is at it again. Cakku waxaan run ahayn
  13. Two quick points to consider when talking about current PL admin as it regards to SSC issues: 1- These regions changed hands when Cadde was the president of PL, and Yey was the head of TFG 2- Faroole inherited an essentially broken state that has been used and abused by prior admins Blaming Faroole for the current situation is therefore politically motivated. What needs to happen is the people of SCC to unite them selves politically, for if that happens it would be much easier to challenge the secessionist agenda in the north. This conflict is purely political in nature hence it would be foolish from Puntland’s side to mitigate by military means.

  16. The people of Lasanod are not in an election mode. To them, this is a war season. They are mourning the deaths of recent Buuhoodle and WidhWidh conflicts. Great number of Laasnood residents is in makeshift prisons, erected by a clan that is incapable to become acquainted with the art of governance. This is the truth of the matter.
  17. One Man, One Vote, eh! What a delusion. The melitia leader is dead, and Ayoub is talking about free elections taking place in Sool

Ahem! Well put, Baashi. They are Paine without a pamphlet indeed.
  21. 1. Stop the secessionist so called Somaliland intimidation of unionist populations of Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn regions of Somalia and forcing them vote for secession 2. Stop the blood shed and massacre happening in Widh Widh, Balli - Hadhac and surrounding areas in Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn regions of Somalia 3. In order to achieve peace, peaceful co-existence between neighboring Somali clans/tribes, and development cooperation, the secessionist group of so called Somaliland must and should withdraw their aggressive militias from the SSC regions of Somalia 4. Understand that unionist populations of Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn are fully against the secessionist so called Somaliland, because they had resolved to be part of united Somalia. Therefore, their right to self determination should be respected. Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn people are not asking much, are they? All they are saying is NO to Somalia’s dismemberment, and YES to her unity.
  22. a misleading title. Faroole has matured politically...made strategic shifts for Puntland. Way to go
