New York Times Says Somaliland Has the Strongest Case to be Recognized

Jefrey's remarks may be bible verses to you, but they are not to me awoowe. -

Puntland’s move, and subsequent TFG adoption of the same strategy, is quite consequential. It breaks a bad habit (and a deliberate one) of Western NGO’s micromanaging Somali affairs from distant capitals. The message is loud and clear: we will fend for our interests; seek funds from where we can get. And just in case you conveniently forget, petro-dollars are what running your economy. I understand the secessionists are mad because they perfectly understand what it means to have Somalia’s infrastructure receive the investment it so badly needs.

New York Times Says Somaliland Has the Strongest Case to be Recognized
xiinfaniin replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
same old same. South Sudan is a bad analogy for Somaliland's case. Somaliland will remain part of Somalia. -
Last week, Somalia’s Ministry of Information issued a cryptic news release about Saracen and who is behind it. “The funding of these activities is provided by some Muslim countries that have no interest but to help the people and government of Somalia overcome the difficulties they faced for the last 20 years,” ... “This is a rare opportunity.”

^^I cant afford doing the digging needed to put your assertions in check. But the program is still on, as far as I can tell. Find Minister of Finance's interview for further elaboration. The UN was present in Puntland's commence for the second training. Sharmarke is no longer in the loop. His talk on the airwaves means not much awoowe.

^^Awoowe waad is yeelyeelaysaaye, wuxu fashil bay ku dhamaadeen. That your admin tried to make Puntland’s new initiative to train own security forces an issue is not in dispute . But capturing a Cargo Plane to get the focus of the world was a tactical error that resulted in embarrassment. If not so, tell me a single achievement that came about as the result of last weeks’ theatrics. In fact, while you were making loud noises about the Cargo Plane, the TFG followed suit Puntland’s model of hiring security consulting private company to attain similar goals. What you thought was a crime, become a model to get Somalia stand on its feet again.
-
NGONGE, I don’t know what you defending really. You captured a Cargo Plane, and acted as you won the biggest ghaneemah in the world (Ayoub euphorically thanked God for it ), and after weeks of theatrics, you ended up issuing court rulings against Russians and South Africans only to reverse them in a matter of hours. We all know handing the equipment to the UN was an attempt to save face. What else could your admin do? Confiscate them? Could they do that? I mean the whole thing was a joke. You, yaa NGONGE, know it very well. Puntland was watching the Somali tournaments just like the others Somalis. When the ball game ended, it reminded the world the Galgala cow and its beneficial tits , and you are still talking about a Cargo Plane that landed for refuel …qoor iyo xero…
-
Yes the proper characterization of what have happened in Hargeysa as it regards the Cargo Plane is big embarrassment. ffice:office" /> Russians, South Africans, and a Cargo Plane are not Puntland. I understand you labored to make a link but no one bought it, as it was apparent in the abrupt reversal of your court rulings.

Abtigiis;682486 wrote: Dear Xinnfanin, Indeed, is there any quarrel over the established fact that when it comes to creativity and genuine epistemological discourse, you are the colour black on the rainbow ? Is there a dispute that you gained a fame you did not need to validate, the way the proverbial cavern that once housed a big snake acquires lasting awesome terribleness? For what? For simply mercilessly bullying newbies, who come to SOL as their prized find, with rehearsed powerful poetic lines of the Sayid and Ismacil Mire et al ? For sticking to a peace caravan that has lost its way when it begun its journey and expecting it to yield peace? There is a Somali adage which says ‘dadkaaga dhinac ka raac’ , a fad in Revoultion days. It is an adage which expiates foolishness and cowardice, comfortably locating all these within the human urge for self-preservation. As a proverb, it could only have come from a deficient and miscalculating culture with a deep and ingrained misunderstanding of the true drivers of human transformation. You are a relic of this culture, and embody and dramatize diffidence and disguise as the better part of wisdom, even explaining to comic levels the virtues in not challenging, explaining, discussing or simply narrating human occurrences. You may fairly say I am the opposite of you, and belong to a minority group of mindless eccentrics and odd beings with no moral strictures. It is a charge long administered against me, part rightly, part wrongly, and for which I will not put my lean head between my boney legs and sob. But this thread is about you, and not me. It is about revealing the made-up creature whose sole key and path to the ‘Hall of Fame’ of SOL is to criticize, bully or pamper, in an effort to keep his real nature wonderfully unobtrusive beneath a false patina of ascribed social and scholarly virtue. On more than many occasions, I used head, hand, limb and all to duck your unsteadying volley, which came too, too close for comfort, again literally. I receded into a hidden corner of the SOL women section, hoping for some deflecting parapet; instead getting abusive discloures and open insults. The case of Ibtisam's mauling attack on me is one living example. You pushed me to this margins. That did not quite help. And it has now become clear that a wife of a serial wife-beater, who hopes the abuse will end one day because God will change her man, will find herself without teeth and eyes when that day arrives. It is self-defense, mate. And I hope this will have no bearing on our exchanges of the conviviality of the yore ! :D @serial wife-beater Xiin is a serial wife beater while Aw Tusbaxle is akin to a grief-stricken spouse in a abusive relationship, miyaa ? <O:p</O:p I am sure this analogy is not one of your profitable sayings in your quest to gather up literary gems. Waryaa, xiinfaniin is not nice. That much I concur. But his comments (even if it was misplaced) on that Amhara slut in that poorly constructed essay of yours does NOT warrant all this protest. NGONGE, look what you did to the man! War bal pm u ***, aniga albaabka igama furee

:)@this thread Aw Tusbaxle , If my crime was not recognizing your ability to write in a creative way, read below how I concede your deceit . Although I disagree with your gross exaggeration of my role in this fora, I nevertheless find your essay quite creative. You depicted a charlatan who mysteriously managed not only to mislead the general readership of SOL for many years but who also developed systematic, abusive powers to stifle creativity of the site. And to dispel any doubts about the genuineness of your keen distress over xiinfaniin character, you put forth an interesting characterization of him as a fraudulent menace who robs others off their hard earned ‘shine’. That is to say Xiinfaniin is not only akin to the proverbial empty vessel that initially excite those at the shore, waiting eagerly for the merchandise it supposedly carries, only to disappoint them upon arrival. He is worse than that: he is a proven quack who holds no cards beyond his pretentious moralization. The verdict is therefore in: the man has no merit for the position he demands. What happened before ? How such a shallow man managed to mislead so many people? He was like xiin or xagaayo; sort of brief shower that fail to wet, not quite the real, widespread rain many thought he was. But not any more. His cover is now blown. We can trace his cheeky poetry to the original sources from which they were uplifted, the veneer of religious scholarship he often assumes is no longer credible with us, and he is not the strong kind, physically speaking--- with a fragile build and small frame, hardly he is the one to compel his enemy to fold at his feet. What does all of this mean? Since xiinfaniin is no longer the man we all thought he was, what he says should not carry the weight it used to carry. Particularly in the event this great fraud attempts to comment my literary expositions, I request SOL readership to take his drivel for what it really is, a senseless, childish talk.

Considering your previous Kastuumo topics, this is by far the worst... Waryaa, wixii aan kaa waaniyey baa dhex fadhidaa Carraabayey hadda nabaadiino, iyo nooli kulanteen

Ayyoub, you know it and I know it that Somaliland is not seceding because Somalia has 'spectacularly failed', nor it is seceding because Somalia has 'flourishing pirates' while Somaliland has a 'fledgling coast guard'. It's clear that the author is not familiar with Somaliland's rationale for separation. What the author is familiar with and superbly highlighted is the fate of self-declared countries, those who 'start by acting like real countries, then hope to become them'

Sayid lost it big time. But I am not sure if that means NGONGE has won.

So pointing out Aw T's bad habit renders me unqualified to comment on his posts, eh! Gabar Amxaaro ah, oon fool xumayn ragguna wada leeyahay baan waa la seexan jirey, oo xattaa jabta igu riday is, in a nutshell, what good Aw Tusbalxe wrote, and NGONGE is clapping for . Whether that represents the preface of an aspiring literary writer is a topic I am apparently disqualified to comment on.

http://www.hiiraan.com/news/2010/Dec/wararka_maanta23-11979.htm Now that Somalia’s Transitional Government gave capacity building contract to the same company, which Puntland had a similar deal with, what would secessionist’s cry be? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Will Somaliland hijack Cargo Planes destined to Mogadishu as well, as they did to Puntland?

^^What you wrote there, ya Aw T, has no literary value, not depth, no complexity, if something at all it is a measure of what your unspoken pulse is able to articulate in the veil of the online garb. Don’t get me wrong, your writing is not bad at all; however, your academic brilliancy is ruined by the raw, unruly emotions, which the content gives voice. .
