Breaking news Clan clashes in mudug+heavy casualties
xiinfaniin replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Xaaji Xunjuf is firing from all cylinders today because innocent people got killed in Mudug -
LOL@fooxisaa sheegtay Typical propaganda (rather a desperation) from our separatist brigade here on SOL
-
I personally know the two odd guys with SL flags in the big crowd. at least one is doing for the kicks. So NGONGE aayar awoowe, lool@Jacaylbaro. The opposite is also true. Those who pal around with the fringes would be led to believe that the world is black and white. Ayoub, The Minneapolis/St. Paul discriminated against non ******s:D

waryaa ANWAR ku mee awoowe, we need updates on the Uganda conference , the June gathering in Mogadishu
-
OdaySomali I stand corrected. Perhaps my effort to distinguish between refugees and diaspora does not hold.
-
Xaaji Xunuf, Adeer Somalis are Somalis where ever they are. As for Somalis praying different mosques in Minneapolis, that is one fat big lie.
-
^^LOL The south is for me, and so is Puntland and Somaliland.

two rivers that is fertile for me. I can not be hold accountable for fickle feelings of some, fishing for negativity for every sentence written adeer. look at the big picture, well ye?

Puntland Administration's Betrayal of the SSC People
xiinfaniin replied to Taleexi's topic in Politics
SSC is a timely, effective organization in confronting the notion of dismembering Somalia. It is true that it has resorted to rabble-rousing tactic to garner support, it appealed the lowest domination, it used misconstrued facts but all of that is fine as long their primary focus remains opposing separating Somalia on where it matters the most, on the ground. It is doing what any activist organization does... Puntland is a political arrangement that can only be broken by another consultative conference just like the one that conceived it in the first place. Protest articles, emails and other accusations in the clannish venues will have no impact on the basic constructs of the entity. Somaliland's reach in SSC area was not done by force ...it came about as a result of a skillful tactic in marketing to specific segments of that community and by retail politicking. To undo what it did will take time. Don't look at the separatist flag; look at who' s carrying it deep in Widh-widh, close to Tuka-raq, and hoisted at the Laascaanood up town. SSC is making such tactic a passe' that could never be repeated so easily and effectively again. Sheeko rag: where is our old pal, Oodweyne? I am hearing stuff I would like him confirm about the Yosin Mother in Hawd!!! -
One thing I like living where I live is the fact that this town serves the function Mogadishu once served: melting the Somali pot. Most Somalis here understand that Somalia is one in the eyes of the world. The secessionist nonsense does not resonate here. Somaliland is loved for its progressive pent, its literature, its good sheekhs and eloquence...Puntland is loved for its history and organizational skills...and the south for its wealth and fertility ..and we all watch Universal TV, use Dahabshil, Amal , Kaah, Qaran etc In other words, in America, and in the largest Somali Diaspora in the world, NGONGE & JB's separatist cause is more or less a lost cause. Waxaadan helaynin, usii halqal taaga, waxaadan huraynin adoon ka habsaamin, ayyaa ka hagaagsan

Somaliland delegation Visits Kenya's capital Nairobi.
xiinfaniin replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
^^LOL NGOGNE says Somaliland was not part of the UN SC meeting with Somali leaders. The proof: Shabelle.net. And you were arguing along the same lines with the Kuwait episode as well!!!! Qoor iyo xero ma dhahaa PS. next NGONGE will say WHO was a photoshop, like Xaaji Xunjuf would -
The UN SC had a full field yesterday with Somalis: virtually all important Somali players with the exception of alshabaab were in the arena. But what was the conclusion: encouraging more political quarrel or a breakthrough with new formula at hand (Somalis will sit together in Mogadishu to chart a new political road map that takes them beyond transitional framework)? Sophist, Liqaye, MMA and other folks in Nairobi, chip in your two cents ya rijaal.

Somaliland delegation Visits Kenya's capital Nairobi.
xiinfaniin replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
NGONGE, Your insistence on Siilaanyo's reception in Kuwait as president of a nation was bordering Xaji Xujuf's delusion. You've become busy in hunting trivial news articles to prove a nonexistent point awoowe. Faced with such a militancy, I had to wait and see how you fare with those who committed themselves on this path. And now we get back at the same story line; Somaliland turning up in Somali gatherings with her separatist agenda muffled-- Kuwait, WHO, and Nairobi yesterday . How are you gonna spin this yaa sheykh NGONGE? -
Somaliland delegation Visits Kenya's capital Nairobi.
xiinfaniin replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
NGONGE and co will always find a way to spin but this combined with Siilaanyo's trip to Kuwait represents a welcome shift from secessionist's part. -
Al-Shabaab oo Osama Bin Laden tacsi ugu sameeyay Afgooye
xiinfaniin replied to Somalina's topic in Politics
And some pundits here were telling us that Alshabaab is declining, and TFG is making progress against them. -
http://www.gedonet.com/index.php?news=7052 Read the link above for details. Questions are abound though. 1- Why would Faroole forgo his bid to hold all inclusive Somali conference in Garowe, and rather endorse a new round of election by 550 parliamentarians led by Sharif Xasan? read below for Minister Jemcale's statement: http://www.hiiraan.com/news/2011/May/wararka_maanta12-13529.htm 2- Why would Farmaajo boycott the Nairobi conference where he could have been the prominent leader in the room, and might have had a sway on the dates, and go instead to NY only to accept Mahiga's original dictates? Here below are the details http://www.hiiraan.com/news/2011/May/wararka_maanta11-13502.htm Anyone?

In Siilaanyo’s Trip to Kuwait, Acceptance to Union Symbol.
xiinfaniin replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
loooooooooool@Min Al Soomaal wa la Ard Al Soomaal. You wish, my brother. It is disappointing to see NGONGE, North, Suldaan, and Lady Blessed show up here only to defend the old, delusional line. Siilaanyo was a Somali leader for Somaliland region when he was in Kuwait and UAE. It was that capacity he met with those leaders. Jacayl (my friend), Saalax, and XX are dedicated propagandists, and I don't expect them to entertain truth of the matter. Jamce wanaagsan waryaaya ragga go'ayow. PS: Ardu Soomaal in the Arab press means Somaliland, the name of the region in Somalia Siilaanyo was representing. -

^^Che, You may be right, but the fact NGONGE of all is reduced to defend the absurdity of Xaaji Xunjufs claims and forgery is something I can take to home with. -
In Siilaanyo’s Trip to Kuwait, Acceptance to Union Symbol.
xiinfaniin replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
I give you a 'D' for failing to come up with any presidential swagger for Siilaanyo with respect to his trip to UAE and Kuwait other than a newspaper interview , NGONGE. It is not the Somali websites that denied Siilaanyo the status he so desperately seeks. It is the reality on the ground. In every level of international relations, Somaliland's claim of statehood is roundly rejected. PS: Lest you confuse political leadership of a Somali region with statehood, Puntland's Faroole (yeah I know you don't like him) got better treatment and promise of development money. -
In Siilaanyo’s Trip to Kuwait, Acceptance to Union Symbol.
xiinfaniin replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
I see the secessionist's online brigade finds hard to swallow the truth. Fact: Siilaanyo was a citizen of Somalia and was received in that capacity. Fiction: Kuwaiti government received a delegation from a county called Somaliland. Salax is asking about the people of Sanaag. If he didn't know as I suspect the case is lets educate him about this community. Sanaag community has a long history of surviving tumultuous times. When the colonial powers invaded them and took their beloved Suldaan, the community continued to thrive. Today with two major ports (Laasqoray and Boosaaso), they are once again thriving. There is a political understanding in the region that our brothers in the North are laboring in a serious way to unchain them selves, came out of the little prison they locked themselves in. Sanaag, ya Saalax, is ready to welcome you back to the family. No hatred, no animosity towards you. You are a brother from a different mom who attempted to assume different identity. It did not work. Now come back home . -
In Siilaanyo’s Trip to Kuwait, Acceptance to Union Symbol.
xiinfaniin replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
Duke , one thing is clear here and that is Kuwait is not Ethiopia and does not entertain separatist aspirations. Diplomatic ground rules were clear, and Siilaanyo who understands one or two things about diplomacy fully complied. Saalax, We are all for developments for all Somali regions. May Allah rain infrastructure money and resource for Somaliland, Puntland and all other admins in the country. What we reject is what the Kuwaiti government rejected: the secessionist nonsense. Libaax Salaams awoowe, You are absolutely correct about the logical expectation. But just like we've seen some separatist report to us that Riyaale used Somaliland passport to fly to England, some here were claiming the Somali flag was a photoshop, and Somaliland's flag was what hoisted indeed. -
In Siilaanyo’s Trip to Kuwait, Acceptance to Union Symbol.
xiinfaniin replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
Zack, we await good NGONGE to answer that question, but read the below report boowe Madaxweynaha Somaliland oo Idaacada BBC waydiisay sida waftigiisa u arkey mowqifka dowlada Kuwait ayaa sheegey ineysan wadankaas u tagin aqoonsi raadis balse howlo kale u joogeen halkaas waa sida uu hadalka u dhigaye. -
As I always said, Siilaanyo is a nimble politician who understands reality constrains separatist movement is dealt with. In Kalshaale he understood (forced to understand, rather) that the conflict was at its core a clannish one. He stopped at the gates of his clans grazing boundaries, and abandoned the drive of bringing other clans by force . No matter how loud Xaaji Xunjuf repeats ‘Way Duushay’ slogan, in Kalshaale, the notion of closing colonial borders was roundly grounded. And then came Siilaanyo trip to one of wealthiest gulf countries, Kuwait. We are not privy to what went on behind the royal walls, but one rude truth as always intruded quite forcefully. Siilaanyo was honored as a Somali leader with Somalia’s most unifying symbol hoisted behind the Somaliland delegate he led. The blue Somali flag was hoisted. And that, ya Jamacah, is powerful message from Kuwait. And if you keep your ears on the ground, you would hear reports of Kuwait’s insisting that Siilaanyo’s delegate would only be granted audience to the officers with higher positions provided that they come as Somalis from Somalia, and not from some other country that only exists in the imagination of the separatist movement. How would my friend NGONGE spin this? Oodweyne? Yaa u baxay? ========================================================= Wafti uu hogaminayay Silanyo oo waji gabax la kulmey 4 May 4, 2011 - 11:52:47 AM Wafti uu hogaminayo Madaxweynaha maamulka Somaliland oo sheegtey inuu gooni isu taagey ayaa booqasho uu dhowaan ku tagey wadanka Kuwait kala kulmey wajigabax kadib markii calanka Somalia laga taagey dhamaan xafiisyadii uu kula kumayey madaxda dalkaas. Boqorka Kuwait ayaa diidey inuu la kulmo Madaxweynaha Somaliland isagoo sheeganaya inuu ka goostey Somalia inteeda kale iyadoo calanka Somalia ka lulanayey goobtii kulankaas ka dhacey. Madaxweynaha Somaliland oo Idaacada BBC waydiisay sida waftigiisa u arkey mowqifka dowlada Kuwait ayaa sheegey ineysan wadankaas u tagin aqoonsi raadis balse howlo kale u joogeen halkaas waa sida uu hadalka u dhigaye. Dowlada Kuwait iyo wadamada Carbta ayaa si ba'an u diian in Somalia la kala gooyo iyadoo taasi sababtey in maamulka Somaliland ku hungoobo aqoonsi ay u helaan gooni isu taag.

Duke , shalay baan Galkacyo u duceeyey, the lean admin is a wellcome change from the old admin and the infighting that characterized it. Waryee NGONGE, you should thank Faroole for teaching your old man Siilaanyo how to develop a capacity to milk the pirate issue. Siilaanyo is now following Faroole's footsteps, building perisons for pirates just like Faroole did. He is even off to UAE and Kuwait in the same, exact Faroole itinary .
