NGONGE;780799 wrote: Xiin, Like I told you, I know your limitations saaxib and I don't worry about your empty spin much. You are what you are, adeer. Yours, was like a balloon letting out air, it happened gradually and didn't come as a shock when all the air finally was out. His was sudden and really unexpected (but even then I still have hope). :D Adeer pointing out the obvious is not going to cut it. Each one of us has a limitation. Be a man, and defend what you believe. Khadar is a man who supports Khatumo, and you support SL. Waa lagu waalay walle .

I am not sure who you are talking to in your first sentence. But it is fact that the switch of Lasanod was not a bloodless event. In fact more people were displaced, and their livelihoods were disrupted than any other city in the entire SSC area. What once was a thriving city with growing population is today a deserted, ghost town with armed militia everywhere. The point is this conflict is not intellectual discussion where one group convinces the other group, and wins them over to their side. Whoever thought so or still thinks so is quite naive.

NGONGE lost it. The man really lost it. As for Buuhoodle fights (as painful as the casualties are, and they are painful indeed for some of my friends lost close relatives of theirs), I believe this is a sign of ending era. The truth that bites NGONGE is that he supports the madness of SL to close colonial borders AND still want us to take him serious when he claims that he is against the effort of SL to secure the same borders. It just doesn't cut it...

As the twenty year delusion of clan state and recognition quest is coming to a halt, many in the separatist movement are in a panicking mode. Separatist militia are running around, like headless chickens, attacking well defended cities like Buuhoodle, getting themselves defeated and chased away.Khatumo State is in a tour in an effort to gauge the lay of the land administratively. Yesterday they visited the city of Boocame, where they welcomed and given a great reception. Today, they are in the city of Buuhoodle. Cities of Xudun, and WidhWidh could be next. Strategy sessions to bring the city of Lasanod are in the works , putting in play the logistical passage of LA environs. So all these are giving teh Hargeysa admin a political headache that they are unprepared to remedy. This is as Prof Abtigis wrote in these pages is what is causing Oodweyne to lose sleep at night , and xiinfaniin's glee . Waa inoo berri ya jamacah

^^I share your sentiment, but unlike South Somalia, these are nomadic postures, with no significant interest from anyone to pour fuel onto the fire so the damage will be limited insha Allah

Che, it is already tribal. If I know a thing or two of the tradition in the North, this is not going turn into a full blown civil war. Folks that matter in that neighborhood are not in the mood for a large, meaningless war in which the sole goal is humiliate entire communities or as Redsea suggests replace them from their cities or land. Some separatist politicians and groups are heavily breathing on Siilanyo's neck, these skirmishes are therefore his way of saying 'hey I am doing something about Khatumo, so give me your support and lets show a unified front with respect to this issue'. But a unified front is no wise possible for there is no rational justification for this war from Hargysa. Just like Kalshaale, this thing will die down. I will go on a limp and wager that even Lascanod will come back peacefully once the pressure gets to a point where logistics and normal movements are impacted.

^^The justification, as NGONGE would say, is to let the Ciidank Qaranka do their thing Seriously, this is the manifestation of a twenty years of delusion and deception of the Hargeysa, Burco, and Berbera folks. They were told they are state. Now some of the communities of the very phantom state that's supposed to be uniform and united are erecting their own administration. Can't allow that per separatist logic.

Che, Some will die defending a delusion. But by and large, this Buuhoodle skirmishes is a sign of dying era. Khatumo is for SSC community and a little armed clannish militia have no capacity to stop it.
