buraaqo, adeer one appreciates Macno Yare's newly found faith in Somalia's capacity to resolve her internal issues. No one is boasting about forcing anyone , such threats are no longer credible and so are the secessionist's pledge to break Somalia apart based on past political grievances .

Perhaps it will take a fresh leadership from Mogadishu, like President Hassan certainly is, to convince our strayed brothers in the North to appreciate Somalia's resolve on her territorial integrity and the unity of her people.

LOL@malistar2012 Gheelle, the Somali parliament surprised us yesterday and delivered one of the most exciting news for Somalia. Lets hope the President will do the same in selecting pm with mature understanding of where Somalia is at today.

His election was something I wasn't expecting. He represents a real change and fresh start for Somalia. It would be great if his pm choice reflects that sentiment.

Despite his rhetorical flourishes, Faroole's contribution in the revival of the second republic has been immense. The peculiar partnership between Sharif and Faroole to implement federalism was what enabled teh election of president Hassan Sheekh. Abtigiis is for change I know, but he is missing the big picture

Che I am excited about all of this. This is a great day for Somalia. I knew that Salaad Ali Jeelle's folks would win it this time, and Sharif seemed the strongest of the candidates they fielded. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was an upset. I was in NGONGE's column for different reaoss than his. But the actual result is even better than what I have expected.
