  1. ^^You are not supposed to connect the dots. Not because of any particular incompetence of yours but because of something else

Looks like I was closer to the truth than most http://www.somaliaonline.com/community/showthread.php/69636-Somaliland-Protests-in-Berbera-against-Britian-s-lies
  3. ^^LOL fi lugha as-suumaal, waxaa lagu yiraahdaa, mudnaan, fil-carabiya, waxaa la yiraahdaa, awlawiyaat
  4. I beg to differ. Majority of the people on the ground do not harbor such sentiment. They want law and order , and political stability. And that is exactly what local governance will offer. As to who lives where , that will only matter if the admins being set up are not inclusive.
  5. Khatumo cannot be ignored. SL tried to ignore them, and now they are fighting them and calling them names
  6. That you are crazy , there is no doubt. Ali has politically matured. He was a man without base. Today with Khatumo on his side ,he is getting the reception he so desired and sought.
  7. ^^Details, NGONGE. The Caravan arrived with the expected GOODS. Some would argue , it arrived much faster carrying more valuable goods than initially expected.
  8. Three things to remember about federalism in Somalia. 1) it is a political settlement, a reconciliation, 2) it is in the constitution, and 3) it is based on the last 18 regions, two regions and more as a threshold.
  9. ^^LOL Remember my analysis are always based on reality on the ground, not false hopes. Even the Caravan you used to mock finally arrived.

  11. ^^We all hope so. But the protest in Hargeysa is getting louder
  12. ^^Abwaan waa dallacay , mudaaharaadyaduu hoggaamin jirey haddana wax mudaahaaraada buu ugu necebyahay. Kismayo haduu agteeda maro hay laysoo sheego
  13. The panic has started in the separatist politicians in SL. The US recognition of Somali government signifies one thing quite clearly: that talks between Mogadishu and Hargeysa are talks between Somali parts concerning territories within jurisdiction of Somali government in Mogadishu. And that is very significant. The fact Hassan is co-chairing the conference with British prime minister makes that quite clear.
  14. Best it has ever been since the civil war eruption. Somali government will very soon be able to control Somali currency, Passport, and borders. The federal framework will take effect , a difficult at the start, but eventually easing up clannish tension of domination, and keeping in check central power grap ala Mohamed Siyad.
  15. ^^LOL I have been around in the forum. I have not been absent, North. Honestly, I didn't read the article when I posted it. I read after I did post it . Not good at all. Apologies for those I disappointed.

  18. My views of Ethiopia with respect to Somalia has evolved. I now view Ethiopia a sisterly state with Muslim majority, if not now, within the foreseeable future. When Somalia with more than 3k coast line revives its economy, many Somali business men will appreciate the significance of Ethiopia as a critical market.
  19. When it comes to Kismayo issue , Xaaji Xunjuf's fear of another Puntland emerging from the South is inching ever closer to fruition. Alas, the fickle Xaaji feels powerless to stop that block's march---other than posting Ahmed Dirie news.
