Poultry has great potential in Somalia due to the unsustainabilty of other meat sources. For now it is ok to import baby chicks from Kenya, but we need to establish our own breeding program for birds that can thrive in own local environs. Also, there is gonna be a huge potential for stock feed producers, for not only chicken but also other livestock. This could potential provide employment for many families, so we should encourage this industry throughout the country.

This a fad because the business model for health clubs in Somalia, I believe, is not sustainable. It's well and good to cater to ex-diaspora individuals who out of vanity or genuine health concern go to gyms to workout to showoff to locals. For a business to thrive and grow well into the future, you need a growing base of customers and I doubt Somalis possess the wherewithal and obesity epidemic to sustain such a business in the near future.
