1. Hehehe... looks like Xirsi is on the hunt for the support of the degmooyin, so as to remain relevant in Somali politics post 2016. ? I always had a hunch that the sudden resignations of Xirsi & Co. was caused by disagreements about the fast changing politics in Xamar, more than anything else.
2. ^ No, I am not sxb. The amature politics practiced by Somali leaders is so obvious for anyone to see.
3. ^ Lol..? Walaale, Gheelle, even though I just brought that typo to your attention just for the laughs of it; please allow me to use my unnecessarily pedantic pen voice... the correct way to write it is...Shiism, with no 't'.? @Saalax said: By the way this is not only a Mogadishu problem. I have been reading the news recently that police in Hargeisa also arrested Shia missionaries. No new religion or sect should be imported to Somali areas it will cause unnecessary problems in the future otherwise. Saalax, I thought you would be more astute than to buy such cheap shananigans of the Silanyo administration in Hargaysa. Are you not aware of the close alliance between President Culusow and the Silanyo administration. Have you forgotten the pivotal role Silanyo played in Culusow's election back in 2012? Don't you know that Silanyo's vote-- whether it be gotten through the unfair 4.5 system or the more legitimate district delegation method of election-- is a sure a thing that Damjadiid is counting on, later this year. So with that in mind; the recent anti-Iran policy recently announced in Mogadishu by Damjadiid is the same policy that Silanyo is implementing in his part of the country. And besides their close political partnership; Silanyo, like Culusow and Damajadiid, also wants financial support from the Arabs-- since his coffers have been low and need replenishing, ever since the Europeans and Americans have limited their support.
4. ^ Lol@ "Somalis will be converted to Shitism"... ? I know it is a typo, however the last thing we Somalis want to become are "shitists". But on a serious note; everyone knows Damjadiid are desperate for cash for the upcoming elections in Somalia and the House of Saud gots plenty of the greenback.
5. Oh shut it kid. Only Laangaabs who luck confidence and don't have districts of their own spew such nonsense about some districts being under the control of Al Shabab. What? You didn't get the memo, miyaa? Al Shabab is only the armed wing of Damjadiid and Damjadiid is the political wing of Al Shabab. So the districts under AlShabab control are also under the control of Culusow. So you can't fool anybody with such nonsense kid.
6. ^ Salax, I don't know much about her, but if she has all her investments in Uganda only : I'd urge her to diversify and not be caught off guard like the Ugandans of Indian decent who got robbed and Shanghaied in the past by "His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular". ? As you know, the current dictator of Uganda Yoweri Museveni is old and once he dies, the infighting for power in Uganda might undo everything this Odweynite has built.
7. The shady dealings of dahabshiil and other major companies in Somalia who effectively have turned into ruthless criminal syndicates will be brought under control only once an effective government, that can implement strict financial regulations, comes to power. So until Culusow and Damjadiid--who themselves are in cohoots with these same companies--removed Villa Somalia, Dahabshiil & others will continue to support and finance criminality in Somalia.
8. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Malistar, is that the sort of wishful thinking you sooth yourself to sleep with every night? You're an embarrassment to even Culusow who doesn't believe even half the claptrap you spew on his behalf here. I figured after all the myriad political failures of Culusow, that you'd atleast come to your senses and for once call a spade, a spade. But, alas, your delusions have exacerbated so much beyond help. As you know, a majority from every corner of Somalia have rejected the outdated 4.5 method of selection, and demand that the next election be based on a delegate system whereby the districts of Somalia choose the parliamentarians who will in turn choose amongst themselves the new president. So good luck Mudane Malistar; your sanity will need it?
9. ^ Señor Xabad, ever heard the operatic saying that it ain't over until "the fat lady sings"? I agree with you that our Baffoon President does still have some leverage and anyone who underestimates the desperation of his Damjadiid party, only does so at their own peril. However, putting aside all the personal ambitions of those guys shown above and other politicians in Somalia, I believe come Jan 10... these guys must assemble a strong and united front against Damjadiid ; so as to save Somalia and its federal institutions. To do so will take a lot of courage and forbearance, which could even include neutering Damjadiid by allowing Culusow a term extension(something, I know, most Somalis can not stomach knowing how hopeless he is). But sacrifices must be made to protect the constitution and a very strict road- map must be embarked upon to fully implement the federal constitution --if he is to get his term extension.
10. @AlbertEinstein said: given what the PL has done to bakool folks,i will concerned about.if you ever talk to the average person that sakiin represents or go to their websites, you will be amazed to know that ahmed madoobe folks are seen as foreigners,1974 draught evacuation etc,go I think you are giving Shariif Sakiin way more credit than he deserves if you think Puntlanders and the Af Maay speakers of the Southwest State will let such a small insect like him get in between them. This Bakool-Sare business is nothing more than a cat's-paw designed to discourage Shariif Sakiin from getting too comfortable under that Damjadiid blanket in Xamar--whose intoxicating warmth he has of late been enjoying way too much. I believe Mudane Shariif Sakiin will be singing from a different hymn book come Jan 10, and this whole Bakool-Sare business will be quietly swept under the rug. So stay tuned... ?
11. Dulce Et Decorum Est by Wilfred Owen Bent double, like old beggars under sacks, Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge, Till on the haunting flares we turned out backs, And towards our distant rest began to trudge. Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots, But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame, all blind; Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots Of gas-shells dropping softly behind. Gas! GAS! Quick, boys! - An ecstasy of fumbling Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time, But someone still was yelling out and stumbling And flound'ring like a man in fire or lime.- Dim through the misty panes and thick green light, As under a green sea, I saw him drowning. In all my dreams before my helpless sight He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning. If in some smothering dreams, you too could pace Behind the wagon that we flung him in, And watch the white eyes writhing in his face, His hanging face, like a devil's sick of sin, If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,- My friend, you would not tell with such high zest To children ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori.
12. All The World's A Stage by William Shakespeare All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms. Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwillingly to school. And then the lover, Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier, Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard, Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice, In fair round belly with good capon lined, With eyes severe and beard of formal cut, Full of wise saws and modern instances; And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts Into the lean and slippered pantaloon, With spectacles on nose and pouch on side; His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice, Turning again toward childish treble, pipes And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all, That ends this strange eventful history, Is second childishness and mere oblivion, Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
13. A Poison Tree by William Blake I was angry with my friend: I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe: I told it not, my wrath did grow. And I watered it in fears, Night and morning with my tears; And I sunned it with smiles, And with soft deceitful wiles. And it grew both day and night, Till it bore an apple bright. And my foe beheld it shine. And he knew that it was mine, And into my garden stole When the night had veiled the pole; In the morning glad I see My foe outstretched beneath the tree.
14. Malistar, your desperation knows no bounds. I say so because after all the Damjadiid shananigans and failures in Jubaland and Baidoi, you honestly believe that Damjadiid will gain anything substantial from their hopeless attempts in Gaalkacyo? You, sir, are delusional. Damjadiid days in office will ignobly come to end in the 2016 election. But if it will help you sleep better, I will agree with you... Gaas is politically and militarily defeated.?
15. Mudane Cabdi Qeybdiid is live and well... However, his general health is not as it used to be.
16. ^ First of all, President Gaas had nothing to do with the villainy that the Moryan elements in Gaalkacyo had unleashed upon an unsuspecting peaceable community. But if you really must know what Puntland has gained from standing its ground and chasing the Moryan troublemakers from out of town--then they got this... ... Culusow, the chief architect of the Gaalkacyo violence finally admitting his failure and accepting the demands of President Gaas. ************************************ Madaxweyne Xasan Shiikh Maxamuud oo ka hadley dagaalkii Gaalkacyo Madaxweynaha Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka ah ee Soomaaliya ayaa markii u horeysey si faah-faahsan uga hadley dagaalkii ka dhacay magaalada Gaalkacyo xarunta gobolka Mudug. Madaxweynaha oo u waramayey Radio Daljir ayaa sheegay, in uu aad uga xunyahay dagaalka waxaana uu ku tilmaamey mid nasiib darro ah, Madaxweynaha ayaa sheegay in Dowladiisu muhimad siisey xalinta dagaalkan, tusaalena ay u tahay in ay goobta ku sugan yihiin madaxdii dalka u saraysey, Dowlad goboleedyada madaxdeena aaanu ka codsaney in ay galaan. Madaxweyne Xasan ayaa soo qaadey sababta keentey dagaalkan ee ah waddo la dhisaayey, waxaana uu sheegay in aysan suurta gal ahayn in waddo dadka oo dhan dan u ah la joojiyo waana in la dhiso. Dowladdu afar qodob ayey meesha la tagtey waana la wada oggolaadey wixii ka danbeeya waa in laga wada shaqeeyo horumarka ayuu yiri Xasan Shiikh. Xasan Shiikh ayaa ka digey in dagaalka la siyaasadeeyo cidna aysan dan gaar ah ka heleyn dhiig la daadiyo. Dhanka kale madaxweynuhu waxa uu booriyey in la ilaaliyo doorka odoyaasha dhaqanka ay ku leeyihiin xalinta xasaradan. Dhegayso Waraysiga Madaxweynaha-- Horseed -------------- There you have it Señor Malistar, from the horse's mouth-- sort of speak. Thus, your churlish propaganda has once again been effortlessly rebuffed. ?
17. Tick, tock, tick, tock! Time is running out for Damjadiid and their cretin in Villa Somalia. 8 months to be exact, so I urge all Somalis to be patient.
18. ^ You got that right: Mundane Culusow and his defunct Damjadiid cabal's last hopes to undermine the federalization of Somalia is to create conflict and mistrust amongst the inhabitants of Gaalkacyo. But the locals of Gaalkacyo know that in the end, they are one people with one city and eventually they shall overcome Culusow's hopeless shananigans!
19. Lol @ " mooryaantiinu ma idinka sokeeyaan shacabkiina... waa idinka difaacaynaa mooryaanta!" ??
20. Malistar, our resident comedian is at it again ?? Saaxiib, don't over exert yourself trying to crack such lame jokes. Gaalkacyo is at peace!
21. Who and what is a "Somalian"?
22. Break Of Day In The Trenches By Isaac Rosenberg The darkness crumbles away - It is the same old druid Time as ever. Only a live thing leaps my hand - A queer sardonic rat - As I pull the parapet's poppy To stick behind my ear. Droll rat, they would shoot you if they knew Your cosmopolitan sympathies (And God knows what antipathies). Now you have touched this English hand You will do the same to a German - Soon, no doubt, if it be your pleasure To cross the sleeping green between. It seems you inwardly grin as you pass Strong eyes, fine limbs, haughty athletes Less chanced than you for life; Bonds to the whims of murder, Sprawled in the bowels of the earth, The torn fields of France. What do you see in our eyes At the shrieking iron and flame Hurled through still heavens? What quaver - what heart aghast? Poppies whose roots are in man's veins Drop, and are ever dropping; But mine in my ear is safe, Just a little white with the dust.
