Tillamook replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
^ ha isku dhex yaacin. There is nothing wrong with a state issuing identification cards to its residents. Care to elaborate on your reasons for thinking this is a bad idea? -

Puntland citizenship cards is this Federalism ??
Tillamook replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Oba, doorre ha noqonin. What does constitutionality got to do with a state wanting to issue ID cards to its residents? This is merely a precursory requirement to the desired implementation of a voter registration program, if all goes well. -
I personally prefer he first visits his country. From Hargaysa to Garowe, Galmudug and the all other provinces in the control of the government. I want him to be the first president to move freely throughout his country and his people. Insha Allah.

Sharif should be held accountable for releasing all those Shabab prisoners right before the election. That man is a sour loser and I am not surprised if one of these days he proclaims he has joined up with the Al Shabab dogs.

Sharif Ahmed's wife kidnapped by Al Shabaab. Is this even true?

Let them not worry about our affairs. Let them focus on the Hyena hunting instead.

Xaaji Xanduf, This is the first time I am learning about calls for a referendum to settle this issue from you lot and sincerely welcome it. Our opposition to the unilateral secession of one single clan in the north was always based on the fact that people CANNOT secede but a territory CAN. Therefore, if you want to hold a referendum with the the consent of mother Somalia we must first all agree to the rightful territory that belongs to the i clan. Am sure there will be a lot of disagreements over who owns where which is why it needs to be negotiated. Once the rightful lands of the i clan are demarcated, then by all means lets schedule a date to have this referendum with the blessing of the Somali people. Think of it like what Scotland is trying to do. They want to have a referendum on breaking away from Great Britain but they only want to do this in the land of Scots. They are not trying to forcefully include in their referendum lands and peoples that are not Scott. This will be a long and ongoing process, which is why we should in the meantime all work together in rebuilding our Somalia which has begun its long road to recovery. We should temper down all the unnecessary hostilities and animosities that your community feels towards the rest of Somalia. We should all focus our efforts on making the whole of Somalia a more prosperous place to live for all its people. The way forward is only through a negotiated settlement and urge my NW brothers to be civil like the Scottish, and not act like they can use force and braggadocio to secede from Somalia. Remember, the war stricken Somalia of the last twenty years that had emboldened you guys is no more. A new Somalia is rising and I'd urge you guys not to fall behind in sulking in your own dark corner. Wabillahi Tawfiiq

^ Abtigiis is spewing hogwash, as usual, when he says; "The whole of Mogadishu is pissed of with the main clan in PL just because of Faroole". This assertion is baseless to say the least and the only reason Abtigiis&CO are besmirching the reputation of President Faroole is because he has gotten good at taking an uncompromising stance when it comes to the political, social and economic interests of Puntland. You do have to get all the BS and hate from these inconsequential naysayers to see this!
-
Hold your horses haters, Faroole isn't going anywhere until his term ends. And only through a free and fair election/selection will he leave office by. Those trying to score a few clannish points over the disappointment of few Puntland natives with the man's performance should know that Faroole is our president and will stay or continue to lead only through the will of Puntlanders ONLY. . So Abtigiis sheekada raqiiska ah meesh kalatag!
-
^ But, what I'm saying is, if there's someone more qualified from Puntland out there, then that person should be selected. Gaas should only be selected if there's no one better to become PM in the eyes of the President.

Caanobooreyal, in the days of the Great Sayid, were indeed true patriots. Today they are a bunch of sellouts who are hopeless. So Abtigiis, stop sugar coating the truth-- Meesha maanta kuwaan waxba kuma hayaanee. Even the Ministry of Milk should be off limits to them.

like a universe by Sun Ra if they only knew what great jokes God has played on humanity yes, he's placed me in the midst of them for vague purpose of vague and yet so great that I don't know where it is myself I don't know where this purpose lies hidden what is there? a soft fire that is burning within me to let me know yes, it's there and my mind searches for it and my heart searches for it And I look and I think, yes, here it is then it's gone it's like a mist then it's like a sunset it's like a sunrise it's like a universe it lies there and yet I walk among people all long not knowing and the people not knowing and then I think I say, what a great joke I am and then, strangely enough I look at people sometimes and I hate them I look at them and I hate them I don't wish to destroy them I don't want to harm them But I hate them Because I know that I'm a part of them that I am here for them that I belong to them and that's why I hate them because you see, if I didn't belong to them if I wasn't placed here for them I would be a free spirit But I can't be free as long as I haven't served my purpose I can't be free as long as I give to people what I have to give to them yes, I'm more free than most men I'm more free than most spirits but yet I am chained you see, it's a great joke on me, too then again, I look at people, and I love them I love them so very much until I turn my head in shame I want to touch them with my fingertips and erase the frown from their face I want to touch them with my mind and erase every care and every sorrow away I want to touch them with my mind and open their mind's eye and let them see the things that I know and feel I want to do that because I love them then I look at them, then I hate them again I hate them because I love them so much and I don't know I don't know where hate begins and love ends I don't know how love ends and hate begins I don't know any of those things all I know is I'm a great joke I'm the biggest joke that's ever been played upon the world and people think they think that God has no ailment but I know because I'm a living joke I'm one that will cause people to scratch their heads in wonderment In search of their hollow hearts and look in their souls and wonder, Where did he come from? What is he? Who made him? You see, I'm such a great joke until I tickle myself

^ I agree with you but with only one caveat, and that is; should Mr. Gaas be selected by the President to form a new government, it should be because of his abilities and not because Puntland will sulk. Cabdiwali Gaas should judged by his own merit! If finds a more qualified individual, then by all mean he should that individual..

Awesome dude indeed. Now anyone up for visiting Jalalaqsi with me? The election of President Hassan Sheikh is good because he is a very educated man who has already proved his mettle working all those years in our war stricken country when like many he could have done the cowardly thing and escaped to a life of safety amongst the Diaspora communities around the world. More than anything this will ensure legitimacy in the eyes of the people inside Somalia who definitely see him as one of their own instead of a diaspora lover of ease. May Allah protect him and Allah protect Somalia.

Lol...quick ask Abwaan to throw the bones.

Abwaan, congrats for getting you prediction right, although I must say there was a hint of luck in it. Ultimately the power brokers in Somalia were never just going to kick Sharif Axmad to the curb and give it to some one outside his sub-clan knowing full well he could start trouble and get support from his sub-clan, and in turn giving him a new lease of life. So the best way to neutralize that scenario was to bring forth Sharif's next of kin that was also running in the presidential race. Trust me, if Mr. Xassan Sheikh Mohamud was not running, another H-Block candidate would have got it. In fact, I suspect Cosoble or heaven forbid Geedi would have won if the new President did not run, just to appease Sharif's sub-clan who, with his urging, would not hesitate to pursue the defunct philosophy of "Xamar unukaa leh!" if some other clan were to become the president. So congrats for seeing this before all the SOLers...lol

Congrats to our new president Xassan Sheekh Maxamud

It's time for Faroole to go the way of the Sharifs

General Duke;867418 wrote: It starts today, Faroole has failed domestically, he has failed to protect his civilians, he has destroyed the very fabric of the state. I am not demonizing the man, just believe we can do better. His secessionist tendencies are alarming and he has made many wrongs notably Khatumo & Ras Casayr. Four years of Faroole is enough. I agree, the guy should be sent home. And we must all refuse this time wasting gimmick that he will need more time to do a census and implement a one man one vote system in Puntland. Come hell or high water, after his one year extension is up, we need to kick him out. -

"Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)" Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go So make the best of this test, and don't ask why It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial For what it's worth it was worth all the while It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right. I hope you had the time of your life. ++++++++++++++++=====+++++++++++++++++======= Good Riddance President Shariif. Wish you all the best.
