  1. While rayale is in burco, can he fix the problem of the burcawis who are locked up in jails of libya and sudan. The women are being raped by sudanese miltary men at the check-points as they go and do tahrib, and if their not locked up there their dying in the mediterrenean sea. read here from somaliland website http://mamalink.org/ index.php?option=com _content&task=view&i d=199&Itemid=1 Also read here from unhcr website. http://www.unhcr.org /refworld/country,,, ,SOM,456d621e2,49db0 6943c,0.html I provided two evidence. 1 evidence from secular organization the unhcr. Second evidence from hargeisa based organizaton mamalink. So please don't act like it's not happening or ignore it and say it's from hater's website. This is not hater website at all. It is secular website from respectable international organizaton the unhcr. And on top of that i provided a second evidence from your pro-somaliland website based in hargeisa mamalink. This is definitely occuring and i hope rayale can fix it when he visit's burco.
  2. Besides even if the piracy ends in puntland, what about 60% of the piracy that is occuring the south? will that end? the ones happening in harardheere, hobyo, and mogadishu? Seriously when figures are stated the piracy that is occuring puntland is responsible for 40% whilst the overwhelming piracy in the south goes unchecked. Now puntland recieves more attention because it actually has a system to deal with it, where-as the south doesn't and probably why it's ignored. Puntland officials well not all but a few are involved but they are not going on the boat and hijacking these ships physically themselves. They are planning for them to be hijacked by little thugs from idp camps. So at the end of day, my whole thread is about idp's doing the hijacking on the seas, whilst the puntlanders are providing the strategy on how to do it. The bbc article is clear idp camp is recruitment area and infact recruitments have occured there. How much? i don't know yet i am looking further into it.
  3. Africaown, the united nation says that their are some puntland officials in the government who are involved in it at the business end. I mean they don't go out do the dirty work, but administer it. Every government system has it's rogue corrupt member, and puntland is not exception to that rule. My argument is not about who is involved here, my argument is that the ppl who are on the high seas actually doing this hijacking are idp's whilst the puntlanders are just sitting back and planning it.
  4. Inspector...can u deny that puntland is doing nutritionally better then other somalis in the region? do u deny this? if you do then u deny the united nation study and from that we can assume u r either insane or have an agenda.. Whether u want to acknowledge it or not, puntland is doing the better then other somali regions and that the map indicate..and that was the point of this post
  5. What a hell hole hamar has become..is there anything positive that comes from hamar?
  6. The self-styled sheikh really has no clue what he is doing. It took him 3 days to realize to declare war on al shabab. What sort of leader is this? one might say very incompetent one. Sharif want's to lead somalia, he better know how to do the job and not just ask for the job and find out he is out of his depth.
  7. Hassan did i say it was the tfg? shabab has regime set up in baydhabo and that is what i called them "islamist regime" not the "tfg" which sharif is under.
  8. Najmudin, Puntland is self-governing state of federal somalia...it doesn't acknowledge sharif policy of unity based government, Which has proven to be disastrous as you can all see "negioating with terrorist is just never going to happen" and sharif got elected for that purpose to negioatate with them and form this unity based government with them. But that hasn't worked as u can all observe and sharif has now declared war on shabab, which abdullahi yusuf was doing previously. So really he hasn't brought any unity whatsoever and is following the same footsteps of Abdullahi Yusuf which is really only the logical way to deal with shabab. As for puntland and it's natural resources, untill a federal government decided upon in arta is fully recognized by sharif and that puntland can remain in it's current set up and provide for it's people they have the right to totally ignore the government. We will decide our own affairs, and if sharif wants to get involved he must subscribe to federal idealogy and if he doesn't he ain't got no business to do with puntland and we will remain doing our own thing.
  9. You can't smoke a cigarette in baydhabo anymore. It is illegal and the terrorist regime will arrest you and put you in jail if they catch you smoking.. Read Here Totally Disgraceful
  10. Daawo sawiro of the opening of puntland development center in badhan, sanag. http://www.sanaagpos t.com/display_page.p hp?articleid=2629
  11. Fabregas i just like to speak on facts..whatever is facts is what i accept, what is not i reject..when someone who wants to argue against the overwhelming evdence marka its like arguing with someone who says "i am not thief but the camera that caught me is wrong" wa totally unreasonable and illogical.. Anyways when it comes down to it at the end of the day...piracy done in somalia is not just puntland phenonemen...where infact we are only responsible for 40% of it whilst the majority of it is happening in the south and this is expert's report who conducted studies from the white house says.. So when we talk on facts, we can come to the truth..and like i said i am looking further into the issue of idps and piracy..
  12. fabregas u have nothing to argue on...puntland is doing better then every other area..and any reasonable can see this..and im sure any reasonable somali can...marka lets leave ur madness there..
  13. And i am sure u are going to ask me proof that 60% of the piracy is happening in the south and i always speak on solid facts...read the congressional report done by washington on seattletimes newspaper http://seattletimes. nwsource.com/html/po litics/2009015383_ap piracysomaliclans.ht ml 40% of the piracy is in puntland, the rest 60% is in the south...now the focus is on puntland ones because they actually have strong case unlike the southern ones... Like i said buddy, study before u get destroyed
  14. Fabregas..wrong they already have been recruited and this one case where the mother says..."They drive around in expensive cars, they offer our sons lots of money, so of course piracy is an exciting option," she says". "But nobody likes them any more, and now it's really dangerous. The (French and the Americans) have been killing pirates, so we think it's a really bad thing to do." That is one case where they tried to recruit from her sons...u think she is the only one that refused.. Anyways i am doing research on this matter to see how much the idp's constitutes in the piracy..and lastly..the piracy only happening according to congressional reports from washington in two areas of puntland eyl, and garacad...the rest is hobyo, harardheere, mogadishu...so 60% of the piracy is in your lands buddy...40% in our lands, and on top of that we still have strong case as african union and even hollywood defends our pirates not yours..and on top of that we have idps who could be constituting our piracy which i will research into the matter to concivesely prove..
  15. fabregas...so is hargeisa or hamar doing better then bari region?...wa may....u just don't like the fact we are doing better then you, and i don't care to argue with u because all the somalis can see the map done by the food agency for united nation and puntland is not doing as bad as hamar or hargeisa and infact are doing better..marka ama jeclow ama nac wa the facts..
  16. Excellent news for puntland, just shows that we are moving ahead rapid pace..we need to also make sure that the federal government doesn't get involved in our state level projects to benefit our people..
  17. Besides the african union has called them heros the other day and sorting out the problems..so all african government supports them..
  18. Fabregas it just shows that we don't endanger our natives, and mainly send these thugs from the idp camp to do the dirty work..
  19. fabregas...they are recruitng from idp camps..this means that the ppl who are doing the hijackings are infact idps..but controlled by puntland business men...
  20. Puntland is only in alert and critical modes...but it s doing better then all the rest of the horn of africa..the map shows it...besides we have 200 000 idp population which constitutes the majority of poverty in puntland. My whole point is puntland is healthiest region because it is not as bad as the other parts of the horn of africa..can anyone denies this? of course not it's very clear..noone can say that puntland is doing least worst then other parts of the horn of africa. and that is my point.. As for the problems there they are mainly the idp's who constitute the poverty and our leader is fixing that by providing already welfare payments for them, free health, and also 2700 of them are being put in a program to become licensed and trained business men of puntland.. Puntland is doing well..
  21. landish..that is destroying the secession dreams...we can also destroy the seccessionist dreams regarding sool and sanaag...seeing that i can't use explicit qabil names i will use the region to represent that qabil. sool never signed a treaty with the british and legally speaking are not historically apart of sland...sanaag signed a treaty with the british but the british viewed them as "territory" not as "subject"...the british even stated in the treaty with them that the british will be opening up an embassy and sending an ambassador in that region which shows they were separate from the other sland tribes in the western part. The sland tribes in the west were considered "subjects" were as the sanaag treaty they weren't ever referred to as subjects but "territories"..on top of that with foreign embassy and ambassador being sent to their land which definitely gives them the right historically to be viewed as country separate on their own.. It's kind of like the colonial palestine...colonial palestine was made up of palestine (proper),syria, jordan, lebanon...those countries today became separated and are sovereign countries. The same can be applied in sland situation and sool and sanaag can be taken away from them...and we can achieve that by using the historical evidences in the treaty...so sxb the legal war when the south calms down..believe me puntland will get involved and u will be in the fight for your survival..ur educated in sland are 5 year old intelligence in puntland...u haven't met intelligence untill u met us
  22. landish..to be defined as a country u need to fullfill some criterias...u need president, constitution, currency, flag, and parliament..once u have fulfilled this then can the world view u as country...did somaliland fullfill this basic criteria at the moment of indepedence? wa maya...marka in loo bixiyo wadan waba xaq daro..sure ur border may have been indepedent but u were never a country untill u made the union and had president, government, currency, flag, etc from the south...that is when the african union sealed the border because now they seen a government which represented the ppl.. When sland was indepedent for 5 days they never were nation, they were infact legally speaking border free but no government...we can argue to the african union that just because sland was border free doesn't mean they can be viewed as nation..becuz to be considered a nation u need a president...where was their president to represent their free border? he was in mogadishu signing the union...khalas weeye... So legally speaking u can't call yourself country at indepedence because u never had the basic criterias to be called country...just because your border was free doesn't mean your country in the legal world...and from that stand-point sland claims can be destroyed..
  23. I think we need some puntlander input regarding this bbc investigative report. It is very serious as this puts idp's who are behind the piracy..pls comment puntlanders
  24. Recovering romantic the united nation food agency study is very clear...puntland is not hungry like the south or sland...the map says that...and thats all that matters for me...nutrition wise puntland is doing better then every other region...and u can't deny that...
  25. dabshid...it is cold and chilly
