"Mogadishu is a textbook dystopia, ruined buidings reminiscent of the second world war aftermath in Europe. But a new constitituion has offered hopes of a fresh start. After more than 20 years of anarchy and destruction, there is hope in Mogadishu. Thousands of Somali expatriates are coming home from Britain, the US and elsewhere to rebuild the country and stake their lives on the future; there are others who never left and believe their faith will now be rewarded. Oba, taleexi is from SSC clan. no doubt about that whatsoever.

oba, all thing point it will happen tomorrow. the EU official who just visited delivered that message hard to all of them. shariif xasan is creating chaos as we speak because he think in loo qayilay. he is having meeting after meeting with his supporters and they are coming up with new strategy of what to do.

riots in mogadishu in support of jawaari after shariif xasan threatened his life and told him he will be killed. shariif xasan is a cancer. he must be eliminated.
-

Odey, are you in Mogadishu now? how are the campaigns so far? Abwan, i am excited you changed your negitive tune on abdiweli. awalba dadka ka xanaji o ciyarta badi bad ku jirtay ninyoow ee wan ku oga inaad xaqiraad ku jirin. the country has moved on. The seeds of progress are sown. There is no turning back no matter who wins this time.

No matter who wins these coming elections, Mogadishu has turned a page. The come back of Mogadishu is here. Our capital is moving forward.

If we enjoy this stability for another year or two, I think you will see a great change in Mogadishu. - Mayor of Mogadishu, Tarzan

sometimes little things matter. Leaders have to lead. that is why they were elected. "today I am playing soccer here at our lovely beach. I want to show the world that our beaches are save. i want the kids to come out and play here now that we kicked alshabaab out. I want to change the psyche of our people. Shabab beat us in the past in the propaganda because our kids were not given better options. This will not happen anymore. Please come out and play at our beaches" - Prime Minister Abdiweli The day Abdiweli said that, it was the turning point. It was really the turning point. That very day will be remembered by the people of Mogaidhu for years to come. Start the video at 16:05 to see that piece. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9H_hG7dObIk#!" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>

Abwaan, little things matter. i agree with you the policy is all that matters. We know there are many who sqandered more chances because of bad policy and mistakes. Abdiweli ninyoow did his best. in the end it is the little things that will add up and make a big impact. let the progress continue. it will add up one prime minister after another.

further to that abwan, in la is xasdo ma wanagsan oo dowlad somaliyeed kuligeen bay no wanagsan tahay hadu wadanku hagaago laakiin let us not deny credit to those deserve it regardless of political differences. you like other condidates and that is fine but give credit where it is due ninyoow. it is the practice of waxgarad.
