  1. are you saying bigger regions can't have parliament or elected officials? if your case against some of the 18 regions joining and forming bigger states is that minorities are not protected, then your argument falls flat because the smaller regions have minorities too, and the majority in each of the 18 regions can still manipulate the process to its liking i.e governor will be from majority, most parliamentarians will still be from majority. loool you failed to make sense mario. i hope i showed you the flaws of your argument.
  2. right = competent, educated, experienced leader with good track record of accomplishments. wrong = satisfy reer hebel quota
  3. you are forgetting that clan has no boundaries and goes down to the grandfather level. loool. who protects the minority inside one of the 18 regions. doesn't your minority majority thing apply to them too? where do you stop ninyoow with sub-clan clan stuff?
  4. let us see if the man at villa somalia can get this right. mooge is waiting ...

  6. please don't post such news because some people will have heart attack on this forum. loool.
  7. The Zack;875545 wrote: I know right! I couldn't stop laughing, love his reasoning too. "Adeer dadkaan waa dad Somali sax ah, xitaa ajaanib baa ku nool gobolkooda". zack he is talking about a peaceful region known as puntland which escaped the chaos of last 20 years with minor scratches. hopefully azania will follow its example. when people get together and build goverment institituion and peace follow we should commend them and enourage them. beleive me there is no pleasure in chaos and destruction. yes there are many indians, yemenis and kenyans in puntland (bosaso, garowe). some are teachers at universities and some are doing businesses. there are even white westerners and canadians digging oil as we speak ninyoow and they live there.
  8. he was being realistic I think in his assessment that the people in that region are good people. this guy is from clan of xasan qoslaye (same sub clan which different from shariif ahmed's). he is a funny guy all the time.
  9. welcome home mr. prime minister. you did us proud.
  10. oba, you seem little immature ninyoow and you don't know lot of things about somali politics. your explanation above tells me you are naive ninyoow. trying to explain scenarios you don't even understand tells me your motives are bad. ninyoow political pressure doesn't necessarily lead to peaceful exit in the somali peninsula and you know it. if that was the case, maybe Somalia wouldn't be in the situation it is in today. next time don't call other somalis problems "great news" ninyoow. that is what we somalis call xaasidnimo.
  11. This is a serious matter Oba Hiloowle this garaad was the most pro Puntland during Cabdilahi Yusuf and Cade Muse and even when Faroole was waging a war against the Maakhir folks in galgala. I was never expecting this to be honest. xaaji stop blowing things out of proportion. garad cali ciid is mad at the bigger subclans of his maakhir clan for taking a big share of the federal MPs and faroole respecting the tradition of the Maakhir community didn't intervene as he let the general Suldaan of Maakhir split the MPs shares for the sub clans. his sub clan which is a smaller sub clan among maakhir comminity didn't get its share. it is internal Maakhir politics ninyoow. he is against faroole today and that is ok and healthy but not big deal. there is no audio of him talking and saying these things, i will not believe anything galgala writes.
  12. oba hiloowlow;875475 wrote: well thats great news then Oh god. Oba, how is puntland having political problems a great news for you? ninyoow ma xaasid baa tahay kumaba ogayne? why does this make your day? isn't puntland a region in somalia which has Somalis? doesn't its instability bother you? don't you have concern for the civilians because if there is no stability the civilians will eventually suffer? your logic is mad ninyoow. xaasidnimo doesn't take you anywhere ninyoow ee sida isu dhaan.

    Kismaayo 2.0

we hope peace and prosperity follows this violence. kismayo needs a break from warlords, shabab killers, foreign mercenaries and fufu troops.

  15. Al Shabaab has lost two key regional commanders in Saturday morning raids by Kenya Defence Forces airtsrikes in Kismayu, Somalia. The commanders, Sheikhs Hassan Yakub and Abdikarim Adow were killed a day after KDF alongside Amisom took control of Al Shabaab stronghold and headquarters of Kismayu in Somalia. “Al Shabaab loses two key regional commanders: Sheikhs Hassan Yakub and Abdikarim Adow killed in late morning raids by KDF airstrikes”, read KDF tweet Five militants were also killed in the Kismayu night attacks by KDF and SNA and a lorry and an assortment of weapons recovered. Kenya military spokesman Colonel Cyrus Oguna said Kismayu fell at 2am Friday after a fierce battle with the terror militants. The troops are urging the residents of the port to avoid areas under their control to avoid any form of collateral damage. The port was the last bastion for the Somalia militants Al-Shabaab which has been in control for the last couple of years.

  17. Yunis;875038 wrote: already - waa bilaabatay miyaa? I assure you this is not Qardho sxb... riyadu idinkama dhamato ninyoow. ma hiirale stories ba weli wadan waxan moday inay shekadas iska dhamataye? the only change that happened in kismayo in the the last 20 years is that the city is now controlled by alshabaab, population is less than it was 60 years ago, the same buildings are still standing, warlord seeraar is dead, warlord moorgan lives in nairobi, and warlord hiiraale is running around gedo in and out of Ethiopian jail. sii wado shekadada. lool.
  18. ^^ chimera is as optimistic and forward-looking as our prime minister. good speech.
  19. talking to my family and caanoole community which controls businesses and is the largest indegeneous community in Kismayo, everyone is saying Kismayo wil be a few days before it is fully liberated. nairobi way kacsantay. if civilians are killed, it will most likely be mostly caanoole community. ilaahoow fududee arrintaan. kenya is a tool we are using to kick alshabab out but it can become long term occupier if we fall asleep.

Nairobi is buzzing niman ba lacagtisi dhacay last two days. he cant evev pay calasoow now. Wonder if amin amir and daynile will go on strike just like calasoow if they dont get their money..
  22. lool@my quulle eating friends coming out of the dark alies to attack Abwaan and support this nonsense desperate move to embarrass the new guy. walaahi these people have no shame. why do this to embarrass the president and make him look sttupid and weak? if you were the president, would you name a guy who did that to you? farmaajo is finished. if xasan names this guy, Oba's clan need to accept this man is the worst of all time. there was nothing brilliant, smart of clever about what farmaajo did today. it was plain stuppid. it made farmaajo look brainless and desperate. today's event made xasan qoslaye look like a doormat. if i were xasan qoslae I would be fuming with anger. why waste all this money in creating fake stories and celebrating aftewards. why not walk the walk and feed the hungry?
  23. is this how to put pressure on a novice president? let paid radios announce false news, hype supporters with gunfire, put the president's back against the wall and then see if it works. waaa. walee these farmajo people are so desperate they should never ever be given any leadership position. let us wait and see if xasan qoslaye is this guillable and maskiin. let us see if this man has the guts to say enough is enough.
