The man visited even Puntland after he begged Faroole. he can visit, visit and visit but visits don't mean anything. i would rather see him not visit a single village but have the balls to stand up for himself instead of parroting the agenda of desperate men like xaad, axmed dirie and qoslaye. ninkan warkisa naga daya ilahay ba u naxaristaye. lol
  6. Somaliland way duushtay. The "t" is a typo. ;)

I too was holding the fort against invading separatists who though they are mere onlookers in this epic political conflict made no secret who they wish to prevail Tell us more the next steps ... P.S: I heard the Gedo stakeholders came out forcefully in the defense of this conference, a development that caught the PM and his team by surprise I must imagine xiin, the biggest concern for the ducks as I call these Eagle haters is that they mistakenly see the Eagle clan in every direction they look. little did they know that the Eagle clan is working towards the advancement and the improvement of the lives of all Somalis. there is no particular agenda based on dummb old clan . we want every citizen of somalia to have a fair shot and for everyone's rights to be respected ninyoow. that is what every oday, businessman, educator from the Eagle clan in nairobi talks about. the last time i saw a meeting about specific clan agenda was a long long time ago. yesterday we were talking about how the bajuni minorities will be respected. tomorrow we will have talk with few other minority clan members. this is how things are happening in nairobi ninyoow. somali people need to wake up. peace is for everyone's benefit.

The Siad Barre Government made it is first "Baroon" in mid 80s ..... But I agree with you, It is a Somali invention anyway ,,,, the first ever somali technicals in a battle were assembled by the SSDF shortly after the Aden, Yemen conference. the landrovers for technical use were donated by the wealthy merchant known as Huruuse who hails from the Eagle clan. Huruuse gave the SSDF 50 vehicles in 1981. ninyoow historiga soo baro oo la shekayso odayasha ad qarabada tihiin.
  12. i haven't had enough sleep last few nights in nairobi my team was on the phone organizing Juba stakeholders to spit on Saacid lahayste's face. we finally succeeded. thanks to everyone who made this project happen. like i said, Jubba has moved on and the train is not going to be stopped for anyone. i should make one thing clear. the rights of minority clans will be protected, so there should be no worries about that.
  13. it is everywhere you go in nairobi. little did qoslaye and his clan know that there are determined technorats, businessmen, diaspora people all pushing this issue and they will not rest until the property is returned. it is unbeleavalbe the amount of activity in nairobi these days. the amount of energy people have to bring this issue to the attention of the international community is crazy. nairobi is full of technorats and diaspora people with big suitcases going in and out of foriegn embassies and there is only one topic, the return of mogadishu's looted property. mogadishu will never return to even a 10th of its former glory if all somalis don't get their property back.

  20. Men seem to have an evolutionary aversion to becoming sexually attracted to their friends' wives, research claims. A University of Missouri study that found adult males' testosterone levels dropped when they were interacting with the spouse of a close friend. Understanding the biological mechanisms that stop men constantly competing for each others' partners may shed light on how people cooperate to form communities, the research claims. 'Men's testosterone levels generally increase when they are interacting with a potential sexual partner or an enemy's mate. 'However, our findings suggest that men's minds have evolved to foster a situation where the stable pair bonds of friends are respected.' Evolutionarily, men who were constantly betraying their friends' trust and endangering the stability of families may have caused a survival disadvantage for their entire communities, says Professor Flinn. 22. AMMAN, JORDAN—Nezar’s face is tight with expectation as she arrives for the meeting. She is a heavy-set mother of 12 and as she arranges herself on the small sofa in Um Majed’s living room she removes her black veil and the pious black gloves that allow her to shake hands with men who are not her relatives. Um Majed sets down small cups of hot Turkish coffee to ease the tension. Nezar is a Syrian refugee and looking for a husband for her daughter. She lists the girl’s qualities. “She is tall and pretty,” she tells Um Majed. “She finished the seventh grade.” “There is one available. He is Saudi,” Um Majed answers. This is what Nezar wants to hear. Saudis, flush with petrodollars, will pay well. She has high hopes for this Saudi. So does Um Majed who will earn a $287 fee if the two sides agree to the match. Um Majed, 28, is also a Syrian refugee, a former housewife from Homs. Um Majed isn’t her actual name but a respectable Arab moniker meaning ‘mother of Majed,’ her young son. She doesn’t want her full name published because of her shame about what she does for a living: procuring brides, some as young as 12, for men as old as 70 from all over the Middle East in exchange for money. Nezar too was a homemaker in Homs who arrived in Jordan last year. Her husband was a taxi driver but he can no longer work because he has a heart condition. Her son is badly injured. “He was a fighter with the resistance army and they were removing a roadblock the regime set up on the street when he was hit by a missile,” she explains. “Four others died. He has had three surgeries and needs another one.” Her daughter Aya is their best hope. “My daughter is willing to sacrifice herself for her family,” Nezar says. “If the war had not happened I would not marry my daughter to a Saudi. But the Syrians here are poor and have no money.” Nezar’s daughter is 17. The Saudi groom is 70. Stories of men fighting and dying to overthrow President Bashar Assad’s regime have fixated the world but for women the war has different, troubling dimensions. Syrian women and their children make up 75 per cent of the 429,000 refugees in Jordan. The vast majority do not live in the camps set up by the Jordanian authorities. They flood into cities like Amman where they live on the charity of kindly Jordanians and aid organizations. Many of these women are not equipped to support their families, having been raised to keep the home and hearth while husbands and fathers provided for them. The true cost of how the war is ripping apart the nation is evident in the brutal life choices Syrian women are forced to make to survive.Grasping for the security of a husband and home, hundreds of girls are being sold into early marriage. These are undoubtedly forced marriages but the truth has several shades of grey: some mothers believe they are protecting their daughters from further hardship and violence, others are desperate to pay the bills. Yet their voices are rarely heard because their lives are lived behind closed doors, their private tragedies not shared with outsiders. “If you see how Syrians here live you will see why they marry their daughters to whoever will take them,” Um Majed says. “People are poor and they will do anything to pay the rent.” link
