  1. Bob your insinuiation that i am another johnny come lately doesnt insult me in the slightest but i will remind you that liverpool are a team who's majority of its fanbase travel from norway and sveden. back to the subject matter i do think that chelsea v liverpool would be a great game. it would a chance for chelsea to get revenge or liverpool to show their strength again in europe. i think chelsea in europe is an incosistent team so we shall just have to wait and see. what kind of name is bob for a somali anyway. why you hiding your real name? it is not lars, erik or bjorn is it.....
  2. why do somali's always have to complicate things
  3. i think the livestock raised in djibouti should go to the port of djibouti and the livestock raised in somaliland should go to the port of berbera. ethiopia can decide for itself who it wants to do business with
  4. they will never be able to get any proper control in somalia so they are just looking at ways of filling their pockets. the fact that they are allowing ethopian dogs to roam the street of somalia and destroy further somalia further from within. this should be an obvious sign of them being up to no good but there are deluded people who wont take off thier rose tintied glasses
  5. i remember seeing ina bisad on the docks in berbera in 91-92 when i was only 8 he was massive. we just used to run along with him. there was a documentary on the bbc not too long ago which he was on and i remember that he was on there and they said he was going to have massive health problems due to the unstoppable growth spurts.
  6. Taliban, my sentiments exactly. if what Shucayb said is true and then perhaps a moderator can explain us to what a term such as s.t.u.p.id has to do with gabiil or other unflatory somali tendencies
  7. this tournament looks amazing. i am suprised by the turnout. i think our people can be proud of themselves and although my team saaxil got knocked out early i hope this trend continous and this tournament gains in strength
  8. i think that the west indies stand a good chance as they have home sport as well as tremoundous talent in the beast that is Chris Gayle, the style and finnesse of the legend Brian Lara and the combined calmness and potency of Ramnaresh Sarwan and Shivnarine Chanderpaul. alongisde this they have a capable young bowling team led by Phil Bradshaw and the very impressive youngster Jerome Taylor. if not i hope South Africa win it
  9. As a Chelsea fan it is difficult to talk about this subject, as I have a particular disliking of both team, but lets not forget what a magnificent game this can be. Barcelona are at their most dangerous when they are on the full attack as they showed the few times they have played. In the first two games played at Stamford Bridge they started off calmly and trying to hold possession and trying to patiently penetrate Chelsea. And although I am speaking from Chelsea few point they weren’t successful especially in the first game where Chelsea went 3-0 up within 25 minutes and the same with second game when they went behind against ten men Chelsea. However in both games they proved to be their most deadly. In the first ronaldinho brilliance got them two goals back in quick succession and in the second another two goals were brought about by deadly bombardment by Barca. So what I am trying to say is Barca are going be at their deadliest when they can just attack because they need as they require a minimum of two goals to stand any chance of going through. This presents Liverpool a good chance to hit them on the break with the pace and precision they can have in their team. Whatever the result it should be a fascinating game.
  10. why has the top line been censored? i just said s-t-u-p-i-d-i-t-y dont tell me we have got some hypocrite moderators who have felt that i was refering to them
  11. I don’t know the level of ********* of Somalis is reaching these days. Abdulahi yusuf is the worst man Somalia can have as leader and those who are idiotic enough to believe otherwise are deluding themselves and are putting the security of Somalia further out of the reach. This man is a warlord leader no more no less. He has no founded sense of politics and this should be more then enough but if it wasn’t then the fact that he has some of the bloodiest hands in Somalia should be enough to knock some sense into the reasonable human being. The only man who will stand up for Abdulahi yusuf is the embodiment of evil in Somalia: the Gabiilist. Somalis who are seeking peace are thwarted by those who are supporting a ‘government’, if it can be called that, made up by the people who have kept Somalia down for so long and whose goal seems to be to continue doing so. Lets look at the TFG. Its prominent players are all warlords. No I don’t claim to be a political scientist but this mere fact should autaomatically rule them of any role in the peace process and to reignite the Somali dream of a great Somalia. Yet this doesn’t seem to bother anyone and if doesn’t I haven’t seen enough of it yet. The likes of Qanyare, Muuse Suudi, Caydiid, Col Yey, Qaybdiid etc. etc. have got the bloodiest hands but yet they are the ones chosen in key areas of Somali redevelopment? Is that not preposterous? If it isn’t then my logic and common sense isn’t as ground as I thought it was. It seems to me that to take top role in any Somali redevelopment plan i.e the TFG it is preferred and somewhat of a pre-requisite that you have killed a few thousand Somalis as your qualification. And to get the real top roles and positions it’s simply the case of whoever has killed, kidnapped, maimed and distorted more then his competition gets the role. i maybe wrong here but I doubt it- I have logic on my side
  12. this is indeed good news but it does make us reflect on what kind appalling animals would do such a thing to start with
  13. 187, we actually do have a striker that is alot better hen van Persie and that is Hernan Crespo. he is a world class striker and not a one moment man like van persie. so i'd get my facts right if i were you
  14. 187, Last season was very similar indeed in the way arsenal went about thrashing everybody until them met their best friends from Manchester. The mancunians did us, The Mighty Blue and White army, a favour by beating you at your own game, that is the game of diving and cheating to win every game. Now there is one major difference. We, Chelsea the eventual winners of the prem, were in decent form and were only five points behind arsenal who were at their best and Chelsea were nowhere near their best. This season however Chelsea are on fire bar the draw against Everton and arsenal and united are absolutely abysmal. Arsenal is struggling to get a point against the likes of west brom and have been beaten by their direct rival Chelsea. at this moment in time Chelsea are 14 points ahead of arsenal and the **** only have only one game in hand so the best they can do is end up eleven points behind Chelsea when they have played the same amount of games. I know that is early days but our ominous form and arsenal's crap form is showing that title is staying put in the Stamford bridge Trophy cabinet for some while.
  15. A couple of fancy huts here and there hardly accounts for a housing boom does it?
  16. Tell me Mr Horn it's this poem done in english or is translated from somali. i think it's nonsens but then again i think all poetry is.

  20. Mr Nayruus I think you are getting paranoid to suggest that somaliland is financing all the killing's that are happening in your beloved Xamar Cadeey. i think the truth is a lot more closer to home then you think and can be smelled in the air troughout mogdisho but your fantasizing of the likes of Riyaale and Silaanyo scheming it all up is clouding your head saaxib. It might seem that the destruction of somalia as republic is favoured by somaliland rather then it's reconstruction to a succesful and stable nation at the heart of africa, but i dont think it is that simple to assume that the responibilty of the killings happening in mogdisho daily is on the heads of Somaliland politians and 'Mafioso'. What i believe is that the political instability which reigns in mogdisho is destroying the image and infrastucture of this once mighty city. To say that the Somaliland politicians are paranoid themselves about the killings of foreigners and the girl who was imprisoned is unreasonable.I think their fears of 'infiltrators killing foreigners and sending teenage girls to assisante the president' as you put it, i think is more due to the fact they are themselves nervous of the aspect of unpredicatablity coming out of a destabilised somalia which in their eyes will resort to anything to destroy their 'Somaliland Dream'. For this reason i will expect to wish for a stable and reasonable Somalian Nation Now i dont claim to know it all but i believe in common sense prevailing above all.
  21. i dont know about everyone else but i think my team the might blues that are chelsea have got be one of the favourites. the reason why i think we would even beat barca if we were to meet them in the final, semi-final or the quarter-finals is that i believe that on the day we can nullify any threat posed by barca including the great ronaldinho. now this man is a walking trick box and is without the greatest player on the planet at the moment but i believe that our mighty defence and midfield can cope with him..our inspirational captian ,John Terry, can defintely marshall the likes of Ricardo Carvalho, William Gallas, Claude Makelele and Paulo Ferreira to do a decent job. now if we were to nullify barca's main threat they wont have 1. supply to larson and eto'o 2. the ability to break down a defence with constanst bombardent of long passes and through balls and 3. the ability to win the game with a piece of magic like ronaldinho did against ac milan. that leaves the whole game open and the likes of Frank Lampard, Damien Duff, Didier Drogba, Eidur Gudjohnsen and the brilliant Arjen robben to break down what i blieve to be a fragile barca defence which no team have been able to exploit to a great extent.
  22. mojam, chelsea vs arsenal is considered a london derby but it is just one of many and never had any real significance historically because chelsea have never really been anything close to competition with arsenal, until recently that is. most people consdier the biggest london derby to be spurs vs arsenal. i think that the biggest derby in europe at least has got to be the old firm otherwise known as celtic vs rangers. these 2 clubs have had so much hatred towards eachother for more then 120 years. also they are quite similar in how succesfull they have been with the exception that celtic has won the champions leauge and rangers havent. also there is the religious factor with the catholic vs protestant connections. celtic being the catholics and rangers being the protestants. come on you mighty blues
  23. ogrigale,i agree with some of the things you have just said but i feel that even with this new federal system a lot of anger and hatred will start to build towards who-ever leads the country and a lot of people will feel misrepresented or not represented at all. now i know that they have tried to iron this problem in the last coneference and they made good stead but i feel they haven't really solved the problem completelty. what i suggest is for there to be a democratic referendum to be done on whether the somali people agree with this new federal system or not. the system shouldnt be imposed on the somali people just because the warlords have agreed that they think this is the best system for the country that should be up to the somali people.
  24. nationalist, i think you misunderstood what i was trying to say. i was merely implying the article posted by truthful shows that the people of adwal hate the ideas that are being 'forced' upon them by cabdilaahi yusuf and his militia. now the fact they have never met him has nothing to do with anything at all because i myself hate george w bush and the ground that man walks on but i have never seen him, never met him and never wish to do so. i hate what bush is doing in iraq and all over the world and justifies my hatred for him. now i am not comparing cabdilaahi yusuf to bush for a second i am just trying to show that you dont need to meet someone to hate them and their ideas. ORGILAQE, i see what you trying to say but even that wouldnt work. lets take somaliland for a example. there are about three major clans that occupy territories within somaliland. now i dont know for sure but i am pretty they are no too pleased with having a member of another clan leading 'the state' they are living in. i believe even those three major clans withing somaliland should have the chance to rule themselves. eventhough somaliland at the moment seems to be the most peaceful place within the former demcoratic republic of somalia, i dont think every clan is completely happy with the idea and problems could arise in the future.and as we already know some problems have already arisen in the eastern parts of somaliland and already people have been killed and captured becuase of this. now this sort of thing will never stop until the somali people realise that the idea of a greater somalia or somaliland for that matter wil never work.
  25. people's ignorance these days has no bounds. when are the somali people ever going to realize that they cannot reconcile with eachother and should not waste their breath trying to show people otherwise. take for example this two dimensional vieuw that is being created by people on this thread. one group is saying that people living in adwal are proclaiming their support for the newly elected president of the democratic republic of somalia and the other group are ridiculing that by posting an article showing how much people in awdal detest cabdulaahi yusuf and his pro-somalia militia. now they cant both be right can they. of course not. this is one of many examples that shows the fact that the somali people will never be able to reconcile with each other. i know that most people on this forum proclaims that they all support the new president but we all know that is anything but the truth. only some people of cabdulaahi yusuf's clan want him as the president and lead somalia everyone else would jump at the chance of seing him replaced with someone of their own clan. whether that person is capable of doing the job at hand does not matter to them only that he is from their clan matters. is their a solution? to this i dont think so. i believe that every clan should have the right to rule itself and not have to listen to no 'president' of any kind. with this i mean somalia and somaliand should be split up between the major somali clans(and we all know who they are) and let these clans rule themselves and no-one else . this i belive would stop this idiocricy that has destroyed this country
