Yusuf No one said it was Islamic, it is actually sad to know that our Muslim brothers and sisters have stooped to such a level. But the reality on the ground doesn’t allow you to disrespect them, only god can judge them. You are not the only Muslim, they are Muslims as well, and it is best if you didn’t talk about them in such a way. Besides what are you doing to help those Palestinian children and women, who are raped and killed every day by Israelis? Your ignorance has made your inanity even more dangerous, their fathers are LOCKED-UP in some Israeli prison. As for the ones who blew- up the cars in baidio, you have no evidence whatsoever indicting that it was the UIC, why are all the cars blowing-up in baidio, the only city the government controls, the only city were Ethiopian troops sleep and walk. The sadistic government is begging for the world’s attention and sadly they aren’t getting none, so do tell them to stop blowing up the cars, they may need it later on in life, so they could use it to escape! -

Certainly, this story is not accurate. Will it help if the sheikhs refute this news? It's not like the world is willing to listen to them for they have already been condemned, indicted and demonized. This is not the first kind of this news nor the last, expect more in coming months. It will sure help the Somalis who live aboard. We can't let the American propaganda deceive us. That is how they divide and manipulate the people, which will eventually make them turn against each other. Propaganda can be defeated with propaganda -

Sakhar You should be ashamed for mocking the Palestinians who have no alternative but to defend themselves with whatever they can. Your lack of knowledge has blinded you. Who ever blew-up the cars are in baidoi, laughing at how easy it is to fool people such as you. -

Can't we get a leader aka president like Chavez? That tells the Americans and Europeans to eat dirt. We are stuck with a warlord that kisses-up to other leaders and countries. Ooh the shame of it all is unbearable. -

MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) - Residents of a southern Somalia town who do not pray five times a day will be beheaded, an Islamic courts official said Wednesday, adding the edict will be implemented in three days. Public places such as shops and tea houses in Bulo Burto, about 124 miles northeast of the capital, Mogadishu, should be closed during prayer time and no one should be on the streets, said Sheik Hussein Barre Rage, the chairman of the town's Islamic court. Those who do not follow this edict "will definitely be beheaded according to Islamic law," Rage told The Associated Press by phone. "As Muslims, we should practice Islam fully, not in part, and that is what our religion enjoins us to do." He said that the courts are announcing the edict over loudspeakers in the town. The decision is not binding on courts in other towns. Somalia's Islamic courts have made varying interpretations of Quranic law, some applying a more strict and radical version of Islamic law than others. As a result of such disparate variations, residents in the capital of Mogadishu complained, forcing the Council of Islamic Courts officials in October to set up an appeals court with better-educated judges. The Council of Islamic Courts have swept through most of southern Somalia since taking over Mogadishu in June. Their sometimes strict and often severe interpretation of Islam has raised the specter of Afghanistan's ousted Taliban regime, and contrasts with the moderate Islam that has dominated Somali culture for centuries. Some of the courts have introduced public executions, floggings of convicts, bans on women swimming at Mogadishu's public beaches, and the sale and chewing of khat, a leafy stimulant consumed across the Horn of Africa and in the Middle East. --- Associated Press Writer Salad Duhul in Mogadishu, Somalia contributed to this report. Source: AP, Dec 06, 2006 ============================================== I was listen to the bbcsomali, and the only thing they said the sheik said was that "Public places such as shops and tea houses in Bulo Burto, about 124 miles northeast of the capital, Mogadishu, should be closed during prayer time and no one should be on the streets, said Sheik Hussein Barre Rage, the chairman of the town's Islamic court." Nothing about beheading, but it seems like the western media is stating something else such as the "Those who do not follow this edict "will definitely be beheaded according to Islamic law," So who is telling the truth, did the sheik said he will behead people who don't pray, because that is not islamic

IS UNITED STATES SPONSORING MAYHAM, CHAOS, AND BLOODSHED IN SOMALIA AGAIN?
Wisdom_Seeker replied to Wiilo's topic in Politics
Naxar you are the only cave-dwelling barbarian here. Like the American Negro, you are consumed by self-loathing. America is supporting the warlords, so what warlords are you talking about? And what do you mean 'your country'? Are you not a somali? I doubt you are. You could stand alone and kiss the amerian **** by yourself and thank him if you wish. -

IS UNITED STATES SPONSORING MAYHAM, CHAOS, AND BLOODSHED IN SOMALIA AGAIN?
Wisdom_Seeker replied to Wiilo's topic in Politics
Bill Clinton said when asked about whom shall cover the cost spend on Somalia he said and I will paraphrase “the damages we as a nation had endured in Somalia will be paid by the Somalis”. But it seems like America is American whether the president is republican or democrat it really doesn’t matter. And here today we have our own fellow Somalis, who are waiting for the Ethiopians to wipe out the people of Somalia, because of their tribe. I won’t be surprise if there isn’t a single full-blooded Somali living in the year of 2050. -

Because of lack of knowledge of Islam, Muslim youth are misguided into believing by the so-called champions of the cause of Islam that the current spate of killings and barbarism, which has no equal in the recent civilized history, is jihad in the name of Islam. They are incited, in the name of Islam, to commit heinous crimes not pardonable by any religion and strictly forbidden in Islam.... Even mosques and Islamic institutions in the U.S. and around the world have become tools in [Al-Qaeda's] hands and are used for collecting funds for their criminal acts. Half of the funds collected go into the pockets of their local agents and the rest are sent to these thugs. They are the reason for branding the peaceful religion of Islam as terrorism. The result, therefore, is in the form of Danish cartoons and remarks/reference by the Pope. I appeal to the Muslim youth in particular and Muslims of the world in general to rise up and start jihad against the killers of humanity and help the civilized world to bring these culprits to justice and prove that Islam is not a religion of hatred and aggression. I appeal to the Muslim clerics around the world that, rather than issuing empty fatwas condemning suicide bombing, they should issue a fatwa for the death of such scoundrels and barbarians who have taken more than 4,267 lives of innocent people in the name of Islam and have carried out more than 24 terrorist attacks on civilian installations throughout the world. This does not include the chilling number of deaths because of such activities in Iraq and Afghanistan, which is well over 250,000. I appeal to al-Zawahri and his band of thugs to hand themselves over to justice and stop spreading evil and killing innocent humans around the world in the name of Islam. Their time is limited and Muslims of the world will soon rise against them to apprehend them and bring them to justice. Jamal Miftah wrote those words in an October 29, 2006, Readers' Forum op-ed in the Tulsa Whirled. In "thanks" for his bold writing against Islamic terrorism, he has been expelled from the Islamic Center of Tulsa, the mosque which owns the old Stevenson Elementary School building north of 51st between Yale and Sheridan. He also says that he has been he subject of threats of violence. He has been told that he cannot come back to the mosque unless he takes back what he wrote. Oklahoma City's KWTV News 9 has the story. In his op-ed, Miftah mentioned that he, his wife, and their four children came to the U. S. in 2003 from Pakistan, near the Afghanistan border. He lost a dear friend who chose to follow al-Qaeda and fight against the U.S.-led coalition forces in Afghanistan. Please keep the Miftah family in your prayers for safety. The Muslim engineers that I've known and worked with in Tulsa are much more like Jamal Miftah than those who ejected him from the mosque. These Muslims love America, they love the American way of life, and they are apologetic for the terrorism done in Islam's name. To them, jihad is the inward struggle to subdue the passions, not conquering the land of the infidel. What he says about American mosques collecting aid for terrorism may well be true. For years, Irish social clubs in America collected money which, whether the donors knew it or not, went to fund the operations of Irish nationalist terrorist groups. Certainly the opposite is true: many American mosques have received capital and operating funds from Arabic Muslim groups who hold to strict Wahhabi Islam The mosque shouldn't have kicked-him out, they are just giving the Islam bashers more opportunity to bash Islam and its follwers. “They are the reason for branding the peaceful religion of Islam as terrorism. The result, therefore, is in the form of Danish cartoons and remarks/reference by the Pope.” However, a weak-hearted Muslim is what he appears to me. He had just come from Pakistan three years ago and how soon is he to side with his deceitful enemies. I was impressed with what he had to say until I reached the above sentences I am quoting. He didn’t bother to condemn those who ridiculed and still ridicule his prophet? And insult and make sheer lies about him? He didn’t even try to reason with those who constantly bash the Prophet (PBUH). He is excusing the hatred of the west by blaming those who retaliate. He must have forgotten how many people the west and Israeli has killed with their sanctions and bombardment on innocent people. They shouldn’t have kicked-him out of the mosque, that is the House of Allah and anyone who is willing to worship Him should be allowed to come in, there weren’t any profanity whatsoever against Allah, Islam and His Messengers, so let him be.

Our former dictator has left a nasty taste in all of our mouths, hasn’t he? Could some people leave some certain things to the ONE Above? The people of Hargesia weren’t the only ones terrorized by the Said barre regime. That revolting excuse to hate other tribes and not unite with the rest of Somalia is getting old and scandalous. -
LOS ANGELES - Fox plans to broadcast an interview with O.J. Simpson in which the former football star discusses "how he would have committed" the slayings of his ex-wife and her friend, for which he was acquitted, the network said. ADVERTISEMENT The two-part interview, titled "O.J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened," will air Nov. 27 and Nov. 29, the TV network said. Simpson has agreed to an "unrestricted" interview with book publisher Judith Regan, Fox said. "O.J. Simpson, in his own words, tells for the first time how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible for the crimes," the network said in a statement. "In the two-part event, Simpson describes how he would have carried out the murders he has vehemently denied committing for over a decade." The interview will air days before Simpson's new book, "If I Did It," goes on sale Nov. 30. The book, published by Regan, "hypothetically describes how the murders would have been committed." In a video clip on the network's Web site, an off-screen interviewer says to Simpson, "You wrote 'I have never seen so much blood in my life.'" "I don't think any two people could be murdered without everybody being covered in blood," Simpson responds. Simpson, who now lives in Florida, was acquitted in a criminal trial of the 1994 killings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman. Simpson was later found liable in 1997 in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the Goldman family. Messages left with Simpson and his attorney Yale Galanter were not immediately returned I guess we will be hearing the 'OJ did it' remark this coming days. LOL
