Nice!!! I am proud of those who worked hard to accomplish this.

I guess this is how Mogadishu looks like when the TFG controls it. Martial Law went right out the window. There is no warlords, no ICU and yet they are still too inept to secure Mogadishu

Okay it is his government, when he dies we will bury it with him. Being the devil’s advocate was worth it, since it rattled you folks up. You all should try it at least once. Peace folks -
I promise to protect your dignity. And you will all have your own shacks to live in. What more could you nomads ask for. Jacaylbaro Shoe shining is a career don’t you know. You have to graduate from the High Shoe Shiner University to be my shoe shiner.

^^^On what they he too will be criticized or that he was wrong as well? As far as I am concerned we are still talking about the phrase ‘my government’, it appears like the American people were quite upset as well. -

Okay if it makes you happey, yes, dubya did in fact say my government and he too his wrong. I thought he was referring to his administration when he said my government, but the village dim wit, thinks the government is his. Just like our warlord president. Do you know that Bush has being criticized for saying “my government?” W: "My Government" Here's how W is defending the Dubai decision: "The more people learn about the transaction that has been scrutinized and approved by my government, the more they'll be comforted..." For a moment, set aside the "trust-me" part of this, and focus instead on the "my government" bit. If he'd said "my administration," I wouldn't have blinked. "My cabinet" would also have raised no hackles. If he really wanted to use the word "government," then how about these pronouns as antecedents for "people": "their government" or "our government." But no, he said "my government." I don't think that's just a garden variety Bushism, a trivial malapropism. I think it goes right to his understanding of who he is, and who we are. It's not a Freudian slip; it's an Orwellian siren, an anti-democratic red alert. The founding documents of our nation talk about the government, our government, a government, any government. If my is used, it's said on behalf of the citizens, not their rulers. But W really believes that it's his government. He doesn't see himself as a steward, a trustee, a caretaker, someone who temporarily gets to steer the ship of state because of the momentary consent of the governed and an enduring set of rules. No, he believes it's his ship, his state, his rules -- his and his ideological fellow-travelers. The heads of some countries with parliamentary systems, like India, sometimes say "my government"; when they do, it means 'my Cabinet," "my temporary ruling colition," "my majority" -- which could fall in an instant, if there were a no-confidence vote. But in the US, we don't have governments that get made and dissolved year-round; we have Administrations, that get formed every four years. In the American context, unless it's an ordinary citizen like you or me speaking, let's recognize the expression "my government" as what it really is: a deeply troubling oxymoron, the inappropriate yoking together of a democratic institution and -- well, a moron. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/marty-kaplan/w-my-government_b_16224.html -
Naxar, I don’t remember saying the international world should fed the somali people. I expect this so called government to do that job.

Jacaylbaro Do I look like I am the government? When it comes to providing to the masses, that is the government’s job. When you have 98 percent of the population is poor and malnourished you need to do something fast and quick! Well they are lousy at bring security, since Mogadishu is ten times worse than it use to be. The Government’s own priority is the “people”. Well that dry wheat could save a child’s life.

Bush is referring to the executive function of the state, america has a parlimentary system, where a specifically named executive is used to describe the executive function. Bust can’t just speak for himself and expect the democracties to follow his lead, the house and the senate has a say as well. -

At least they (the ICU) unlike the TFG were able to come to power without the help of foreign force and gain the support of the people. The TFG is like a turtle, you take away its shell (Ethiopia) and they are soft irritable meat, which is slow in every aspect. -

Naxar. “One” of the symbols. And that gives him the right to say “my government”? Give me one quote where bush used the phrase my government? Just one. And provide the link as well. The Bush Administration phrase is used, which includes, Cheney, Colin, Gates, George H.W Bush, Rice and other chosen individuals in the cabinet. The Prime Minister is wrong in the same essence that the president is wrong. Do you know what the commonwealth countries are? They are the 16 self-governing countries contained by the commonwealth realm which recognize Elizabeth II as their monarch. Sorry but this un-elected warlord shouldn’t be saying my government. If he keeps on using that phrase, then I am against “his government”. -

Naxar, Do you even know what your are arguing for? No one uses the term “my government”, especially not a president. Even Bush doesn’t use that term. A government doesn’t not belong to a single person that is why it is called a government. “A government is a body that has the authority to make and the power to enforce laws within a civil, corporate, religious, academic, or other organization or group.” You’re articulately ignorant. Just keep quite. You people don’t even know what you are saying most of the time! -

The government is not “his” even if he is the so called “Commander in Chief.” The government is for the people, it is for the ministries and the nation. He should learn how to use the correct terms. In democratic countries the term “My government” isn’t no longer used. The terms, “the government”, “our government” or “your government” is used. Trust me old man, the phrase “my government” was used in the Dominions by the monarch and even most of htem have stop using it today. -

I like how he say “MY GOVERNMENT” when did the government became “his”? That reminds me of the lord of the rings “My precious, mine I tell you, it is mine.” He is useless, we want the Ethiopians to die off. Then this Warlord Government will stop existing. -
MKA Okay sxb, let’s not use the term moral, since the denotation of the word moral, means a superlative order. Let’s use the word ethical that will achieve the same realistic goals as the previous, without the need of a higher power to order anything to them openly or implicitly. One doesn’t essentially need religion to act in an ethical or moral manner. History has shown us, that some of the most heinous crimes against humanity have been committed in the name of Religion itself. There are actually many religious scriptures which encourage rape, torture, child abuse, racism and slavery. An honest man is one which loves good quality for his own sake. And will do the right thing despite the final consequences that will face him, whether it is reprimand or respect. While some one that performs a good act out of fear of denunciation or retribution or just to get admired and rewarded, isn’t a individual which would normally be deemed morally decent or righteous Peace....
