  2. ^^^ I was referring to the past governments, not tuur. WE are in 2007 the voice of the people must be heard.
  3. Originally posted by Taako Man: quote:Originally posted by mystic: We are not in a position of be a national army, we need to build national trust! Come April 16 inshallah, national trust from 3000 somali members from all over Somalia will help do that. We have just started March and we have to wait till mid April to start reconciliation. It seems like the TFG is taking the time to enjoy the chaos and violence they created. It will be a circus show….
  4. Originally posted by Taako Man: quote:Originally posted by mystic: It is a shame that you can’t even condemn the rapists that are being unleashed on our fellow sisters. We should drop you off in the middle of the Ugandan camp. See how you will survive…. It is a shame you can't overlook your clannish scope. There are hundreds if not thousands of rapist in Xamar who've caused people from Xamar to the depths of Baraawe despicable harm but you are not comdemning them for their crimes during the civil war, but in fact are making baseless statements and accusations. And you think we need more ruthless rapists? Oh, how brilliant you are. Everyone is not as clannish as you. you cheered for the bombing, you cheered for the killing and now you are cheering for the raping season to begin. Disgusting! Baseless? The Ugandan troops are known rapists! Point fingers at criminals in Somalia, will not justify the rapist coming to Somalia.
  5. Violet Ha, is that your counter-argument? I will dismiss you now. You are the least bit academically amusing to me. Typical blind-sheep.
  6. violet We don’t need 1,700 Ugandans to train the Somali forces. At maximally a 100 trainers will do. But what do you know? I don’t expect much from a blind-sheep. We are not in a position of be a national army, we need to build national trust! I have overestimate your aptitude, I have to lower the bar now
  7. Violet Now you also lack common sense heh? When you unleash thousands of known rapists, they will strike again. These rapists are going to be in Somalia due to the so called request of these two men. They will be held responsible for the rapes that are likely to occur and will occur. It is a shame that you can’t even condemn the rapists that are being unleashed on our fellow sisters. We should drop you off in the middle of the Ugandan camp. See how you will survive…. The only people that are being exploited are these to zombies. And you mentally as well.
  8. Taako We are not coming out from colonization, this is 2007, not 1960’s....
  9. Violet They are Warlords and goons from all regions. Do correct your self-indulgent mistakes. Few celebrations that took place at villages in Puntland is not what I would call a Somalia celebration. You must be dense. The parliament in on shape or form represents the people. They never were a representative parliament and they will never be! The parliament that elected him was never elected by the people. He has being elected by an unelected parliament. His presidency only exists in your diminutive mind. The people of Somalia were disfranchised!
  10. Kids on khat? If they are that insignificant, why do we need 8,000 African troops? The Mighty Ethiopian and TFG troops could take them out, or can they?
  11. ^^^ I am concern about my fellow sisters, while you are turning a blind eye to their plight because of your clannish support. Shame on you.
  12. violet Sayid Barre was a dictator, he has put us in the mess we are today. He could taste hell itself and that won’t even fix what he was done to my beloved nation. No one elected the Parliament. The People sure didn’t vote for any of the members in the Parliament. So what or rather who gave them the right to elect a warlord among themselves? The parliament wasn’t a representative one, so there is no way it could represent the PEOPLE. Yusuf is no ones president. He is the lowest form on earth. He could crawl back to whatever rock he came out from. We are talking about the period of the warlord era. However, similar to 91-94 people today are fleeing in “large numbers”. Digest that. People like you should be informed of their malformed intellect. You don’t have to thank me, but acknowledge that I did in fact help you is compulsory.
  13. More like empower the Warlord Government and make it into a dictatorship.
  14. Violet Two million people were living in Mogadishu while the civil war was going on, none of them left. Now, the reality is they are fleeing in large numbers. To blame is the Ethiopian and TFG. Swallow that piece of information. The yellow teethed man must have twisted what little intelligence you had. He is not a president by the way. He was never elected by the Somali PEOPLE! If you are educated about democracy and live in a democratic country you should at least know who is entitled to be president and who is not. A murderous warlord isn’t.
  15. ^^^dude What percentage of Somali women in Somalia sleep around with Bantu men? These are known rapers, which had to be checked for HIV. Even if a Somali woman says no they will force themselves on her!
  16. The Oromos and Eritreans were both attacked by meles’s government. They both have a long history with Meles and his people. They know when these same abusers are trying to abuse Somalia. The Somalis here who are supporting dictatorship should be ashamed! Duke, people are fleeing Mogadishu. I heard people fleeing to Mogadishu, but never from Mogadishu is the last 16 years of the civil war. The people who were able to endure the warlords can’t even endure this psycho TFG soldiers and the Ethiopian soldiers. There is no peace. Mogadishu is ten times worse than it ever was. Even the UN/US didn’t endure daily mortar attacks! To mention Somalia today and then say peace is an oxymoron!
  17. Violet What Somali women will have an illicit love affair with these Ugandans? That is a complete insult. Did they have illicit love affairs with the women they raped in Liberia? You are rather pitiful.
  18. Emmy Allio Kampala PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni yesterday flagged off the UPDF contingent to Somalia, sternly warning the soldiers against illicit love affairs with Somali women. At 1:45pm yesterday, the Commander-in-Chief of the army handed over the country's flag to the head of the contingent, Col. Peter Elwelu, amid dancing, loud cheers and clapping from officers and men of the UPDF at Gaddafi Barracks in Jinja. The obviously joyous Museveni smiled as excited green-bereted soldiers marched behind their leader Elwelu, who raised the flag high. The contingent has 1,605 soldiers, of whom only three were women - lieutenants Baguma, Asiimwe and Laker. The contingent is an infantry and tank battalion, but with members from the legal department, medical and airforce. The UPDF buffalo trucks, lorries and mambas at the send-off parade were painted white with large African Union emblems. Museveni dispensed parental advice in kiswahili: "I have heard that you went to doctors who found out that you do not have these dudus (HIV/AIDS). Take care of your lives when you go to Somalia. You have had enough women here." In Uganda's last peacekeeping mission in Liberia, UPDF soldiers are said to have engaged in wild, illicit affairs. In his farewell message, Museveni said the army is going to Somalia not to do the job of the Somalis, but to help them to do their job, and likened UPDF's role to that of a blood donor. He emphasized that the biggest mission is to train the Somali army, and may decide to disarm any group still holding guns illegally "We are there to empower our Somali brothers to rebuild their state and their army, and that is our main job." He advised the soldiers to cooperate with African peacekeepers from Nigeria, Ghana, Mali, South Africa and Burundi. The overall head of the African Union mission is UPDF's Maj. Gen. Levy Karuhanga. Several dozen train wagons loaded with tanks, armoured personnel carriers, heavy weaponry and trucks began a journey to Somalia yesterday afternoon from the Uganda Railways main terminal in Kampala. The freight is expected to arrive in Somalia in eight days. -----------------------------------
  19. Somali Police Official Says Ugandan Team Has Arrived; Not According To Uganda MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) A Ugandan military spokesman has denied that an advance team of the African peacekeeping force expected in Somalia has arrived in the country, contrary to an earlier statement made Thursday by a senior Somali police officer said. Adan Biid Ahmed, the police chief of the southern town of Baidoa where the transitional parliament sits, said 30 Ugandan troops had arrived in a military plane Thursday morning. "This is the first batch of African peacekeepers to be deployed in Somalia," Ahmed told The Associated Press on the phone from Baidoa. Capt. Paddy Ankunda, spokesman for Uganda's peacekeeping mission, told the AP that the Ugandan deployment will not happen until next week. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni is expected to preside over a final ceremony Thursday for the peacekeepers in Jinja, Uganda. "There are no Ugandan troops in Baidoa; there are no Ugandan troops in Somalia," Ankunda said by phone from Jinja. Uganda's total troop deployment is expected to reach 1,500 troops. The Ugandan contingent will be part of an African Union peacekeeping force meant to help Somalia's fragile, transitional government establish security in the country following decisive battles with a radical Islamic movement in December and January. The movement, known as the Council of Islamic Courts, was ousted from the capital it controlled for six months and its southern Somalia strongholds. African peacekeepers are expected to reach a level of 8,000 troops. The United Nations Security Council approved its deployment in an unanimous vote on Feb. 20. African peacekeepers will have to confront growing violence in the capital, Mogadishu, since the government took control of it in December. Since then, insurgents have staged near-daily attacks, with Mogadishu's civilian population bearing the brunt of the violence. And last week the insurgents threatened suicide attacks against the African peacekeepers. Ethiopian troops, largely seen as an occupying Christian force, have been accused of indiscriminate attacks against civilian-populated areas. Somalia has not had an effective national government since 1991, when warlords overthrew dictator Mohamed Siad Barre and then turned on one another, throwing the country into anarchy. The transitional government was formed in 2004 with U.N. help in hopes of restoring order, but it has struggled to assert its authority. Source: AP, Mar 01, 2007 What a shame to be seen as a liar!!!!
  20. Why are you tormenting as with the hideous pictures of men who have sold our nation?

  22. It is kind ridiculous to rob the ship which is bring food to people which likely didn't see food in days. Puntland isn’t good at taking care of isn’t civilians are they now?
  23. ^^^ i am talking about the people that live there and how they have evolved their tuugnimo. lol
