  1. SHAKA, I know he didn't say he'll call me Naayaa...I was just saying if you want to know if it is good or bad to call a woman Naayaa, just say it to my face, so I can show you if it is goood or bad...Seen... Nin_Yaaban, baalyo kaa yaabisay, war waaba soo dhigatee nin yohoow, xishoo ee bal wax iskula har...Sexually arrousing ku yeh... BTW, no it is even worse for my husband to call me Naayaa...Walee wacdro uu arkaa... Kaafi, you're right, I ain't playin when it comes to disrespecting me... Nuune, lol@yarey...

Sorry Kool_Kat is not on the swings any more, seen...Kool_Kat doesn't come to the park any more, she's building one at home with her soulmate, friend, husband... Opps, did I just refer to myself in the third person...Man I have to stop watching those WWF reruns of the ROCK!!!lol
  3. MMA, ee daahee wiilka waaba daalisee...Zooga, library, iyo CN towarkaa u dirtee...War wiilka dhaaf, wax wareejiyo amuu waayay, see u egtahay waqti badan uu computarka ku dhuminooyaa... Q_S, walaalo, I felt very offended cuz when you posted you talked as if SomaliLand only suffered in Somalia...We all suffered one way or another...Some of us are still suffuring... N'way, after reading you last couple of posts, I don't feel as offended...I am still feel offended, though... Teeda kale, we know there are some Somalis from the South live in SomaliLand, but believe me they don't cosider it their Land...Everytime SomaliLand is mention, one Qabiil comes to mind, and we all one which one...You see, we all know when ppl mention Hargeysa, Burco, etc. the majority of the ppl are of one clan, there are the sub-clans...So since SomaliLand represents the Norther gobalo, the same tribe comes to mind...Just like if someone mentions Puntland, one qabiil comes to mind...But if you say Somalia, there is no Qabiil...I hope that makes sense... As always, one by one, we fell, but togher, we STAND!!!
  4. Meeshaan ooyinta orgiga ka weyn aa socoto ee bal aan iska aamuso... Whether UN is impressed or not, I really don't care...But what I care about, is ppl hating on us, Somalis...Specially, when you are a Somali...N'way N_Star always degrade themselves, and say things like ohh all other Somalis are against us because we are SomaliLanders...They are a bunch of cry babies...They always think they have to prove something, rather than playing the game with passion and for fun...It is just a game, get over it...If your flag got booed, so what...Let it go, baby...It simply means, Somalis like to stand together when they see someone who's trying to separate them, that's all...Ain't nothing more to it... Somali, Somaliland, Somali this, Somali that...Who cares...In the eyes of All Mighty Allah, we are all the same... Be Proud of who you are...As for me, I am one PROUD SOMALI SISTAH... One by one we fell, but together we achieve...I hope this makes sense to you...I don't see what you have to be proud of, if your next door brother or sister (SOMali), who has the same color, religion, culture as you, is suffering...War dad nimadii inteey ka aaday dadkaan...uff...
  5. Q_S, just cuz your father had a bad experience with Somalis, doesn't mean we are all the same...And for you to distance yourself from Somalis just cuz of something that you weren't even a part of, is really sad... Of course I read and watch the News...If you were treated like a second class citizen back home, which by the way most ppl were treated when Siad Barre was in charge, does NOT make all Somalis the same...Do you think we all supported the way he treated the ppl back home, hell no...My uncle was taken from his home in the middle of the night, just cuz he didn't agree with some of the things Siad Barre stood for, and was jailed for 10+ yrs...Does that mean I have the right to distance myself from Somalis...No...My cousin, who was only 6 or 7yrs old was shot (luckily he didn't die), and hada wuxuu qabaa qalal because of that, does that mean I should distance myself from Somalis...No... I missed my home country and could not go back, cuz some Somalis decided in ay Qabiil u burburiyaan wadankeenii, does that mean I have to distance from Somalis...I had to come to a country where I didn't know the Language, Culture, Weather, or the ppl, just cuz some Somalis decided in ay ku dhaqmaan Qabiil, does that give me the right to distance myself from Somalis...NO...All our mothers who were successful women back home are now on Walfare, and attending ESL classes, cuz of them damn Somalis fighting back home, does that mean we should hate our own...HELL NO... So for once stop being selfish, and look at those who suffered or are still suffering today, because of what? Let's appreciate each other as Somalis...One by One we fall, but together, may be and just may be, we can achieve... One luv...
  6. ahahahaha aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I wonder why I didn't see this before... N'way, may be you should become unromantic, cuz I don't see anything romantic about your fingure in an apple pie... War inaan ku dharbaaxo iska daayee, candhuuf intaan kuugu tufo, aa adoo caato badan dhulka kuugu jiidi lahaa...Intaan ku rifo, aan waxaan ku dhihilahaa, you remind me of a chicken on the grill waiting to be rifed (my own word rifed=rifoow)...
  7. Just call me Naayaa to my face, and you'll understand why it's wrong to call a woman naayaa...

    SOMALI MEN

Yoooooooooooow, Naaga SHaneeye...Ufffff... I like a man who's strong minded, who knows what he wants in life, who's caring, understanding, loving...A man who can make me smile, cry, laugh...I like my man to be my back bone, without him I'll break and vise versa...Mentally, he has to be on my level...A man who looks good, handsome, not pretty boy...A man who makes me shiver, and make the hair on my back stand with just one look or one word... Ok, I think I said a little too much...But her you asked...
  9. Samir iyo Imaan, walaalo...Allaha u naxariisto, May Allah grant her Jannah...
  10. Since it is past midnight, I would probably turn the TV up so I don't hear any noises, and call my friends over the phone ilaa aan ka seexdo...
  11. Captivating_Soul, very well said sis... Q_S, I was there myself, and was supporting ATL, just cuz they were such a young team and came so far...And when I got to the stadium, it was very sad to see how seperated ppl were...And it all started with North Star...Everything they do, they do it with Qabiil, and seperate themselves from the rest of the Somalis...If they feel they ain't part of Somalis, then why take part in something the Somalis are doing...You don't hear Somaliland Week, no...It is SOMALI WEEK, and the tournament is open to all Somalis, whether they are from North, South, East or West... So, if Somaliland has so many reasons NOT TO JOIN other Somalis, then I don't see why they had to take a part in the SOMALI WEEK...I hope you get where I am going with this... You can't have your cake and eat it too... N'way, Somali is a Somali to me...I don't care whether your from Somaliland, Puntland, or wherever else...But the moment you start saperating, then you'll be booed on and booed on some more...Why the hell did he have to run around the stadium with a non-SOmali flag...Was he missing the point that this event was for Somalis...And noone else...If he wants to flash any other flag than the Blue flag with the Star in the Middle, then he was at the wrong place...And he deserved to be booed and booed and booed...And I must say I really felt proud when I saw the two guys running with the TWO SOMALI FLAGS...After all, it was our Tournament...I was one of the ppl booing yesterday...And I am proud to say I AM ONE PROUD SOMALI SISTAH...I'll boo anyone who separates from us, yet want to take part in something WE (SOMALIS) Are doing... Just an advise, may be you should start Somaliland week if you feel this bitter toward other Somalis...You don't see Kenyans, Ethiopians, or other African countries joining the Somali Week tournament, now do you? You don't see a Kenyan Flag being flashed or someone running around with a Kenyan Flag in a Somali tournament, now do you? BYE FROM ONE PROUD SOMALI SISTER...Alwayzzzzzzz...
  12. Originally posted by Quite -Storm: Kool Kat, Somalis are known to be peace loving people I really really really beg to differ...If we are so peace loving, where is our country? Who took the last thirteen years of our lives, and for what reason? N'way, like I said it all depends on where you are in Toronto...We have a lot of ppl here in Toronto who do very well in life, whether it is school, work, or within the community...But as they say one bad apple ruins it...So stop being so quick to point out all the negatives in our ppl...You should take a good look around, then you might see it...I feel very offended, since I am from Toronto...I haven't seen a single thing you posted that is positive about your stay, and if it is really that bad, I am sure you wouldn't have stayed this long... I am sure y'all would like it if I complained and said negative thingz about where y'all live...Like how some men chew Khaat three dayz straight, without going home to their wives and children; how some men are so careless to look after their family and take responsibilities... So it is up to us to take the good with the bad...And stop putting us down... Enough said...
  13. Shyhem, sure why not...I was only refering to #1, if you know what I mean...Some ppl just don't take no for an answer...
  14. OG_Girl, thnx for puting us down...Who said if a woman has a baby she's not attractive any more...It's up to her to look after herself and make sure she stays looking good for herself and not for anyone else (yea and may be for the Husband)lol... I believe they (men and women) both cheat at one point in their life...I think men cheat more than women, but definately women do cheat...But not all...
  15. Kool_Kat

    How many

I am proud to say that there are Six of us in my family...4 girls and 2 boyz... OG_Girl, I guess we have somethin' in common, huh?
  16. Ameenah, I take it back, Walaahay...Ha'isheegin, waan kutuugaa...Marabi in la'iburbursado... Q_S, sxb suu Alla kuu galay...First of all, I don't agree with you bashing Somali Hooyos like you did when you said they're too busy chewing jaad...That ain't right...These kids are out of control, cuz they're trying to be and copying what they see on TV and on the mean streets...tell me what could a mother do, slap him, kick him, call the cops on him, what? Nothing seems to stop them from doing what they want to do...They smoke, drink, and beat the Shidh out of each other...And I think the reason they do this is cuz there is No STRONG FATHER FIGURE around, to teach them from right and wrong...The fathers are busy hanging around donut shops, chewing Khaad, and talking Qabiil on the street corners...Another reason they do this is cuz they keep so much inside and have no one to talk to, so once they smoke (weed or whateva) or drink, they feel tough cuz they're not in their right mind...So they express themselves by doing something crazy... As far as the women revieling too much when they dress, I guess you can say we are more Westernized than other countries...I don't know if that's a good thing or what...If you don't like what you see, look the other way...Some of them feel they have to show something to get attention, without thinking that they might attract the wrong attention...And yea we like to party...When we party, we party to the fullest... So enjoy the rest of your stay, and stay away from those mad kids running around the city... PS...May be the reason you're seeing all this bad thingz is cuz you're around places where bad thingz happen...Good luck, and stay save...
  17. Ok, ok, reer London your off the hook, cuz I just found out that the Baby-Lotion ain't as good as it used to be, since some Italian Company imports it now... Ameenah, cosider yourself lucky...I don't want baaba-looshin any more...So that tour thing will be free for now...lol
  18. I am not gonna give any excuses...The only reason she's doing this is cuz.... SHE AIN'T INTERESTED IN YOU...Seen? so move the hell on...........
  19. Well, I don't know how creative your partner is...So let's just leave @ that... But my advice to you is whateva it's if you ain't comffy let her know...Cuz it doesn't make sense to talk about it after it is done with...If you know what I mean... am out...

Ok, here's my input...And if that book is #1 on the best Sales list, I WANT MY SHARE...And I ain't even playin... 1-WHY WOULD YOU EVER MARRY OTHER NATIONALITIES "JAMACIAN,AFRICAN AMERICANS...." ---What law or diin says other wise? 2-DO YOU THINK THAT THE SOMALI CULTURE IS A HARRASMENT TO YOU GIRLS? ---It depends on what one considers Harrasment... 3-WHY TALKING ABOUT SEX IN PUBLIC IS BECOMING NORMAL TO YOU GIRLS WHEN YOU SHOULD ONLY TALK ABOUT THIS WITH YOU HUSBAND? ---It's 2003, hellooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... 4-HOW IMPORTANT IS YOUR RELIGION WHEN DOING SOMETHING OR TALKING ABOUT SOMETHING? ---Very Important, why? 5-WHY WOULD YOU DELAY MARRIEGE? 30+ ---Why NOT? 6-WHEN DID DIVORCING BECOME YOUR AUTHORITY? ---I don't know, hold on let me refer to my notes from school... 7-HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CIRCUMCISION, EVENTHOUGH IT HAS NO BASE IN OUR RELIGION? ---Ohh really!!!
  21. Ameenah, what do you mean "this place is full of bad news baryahaan"...Like Land of Araweelos doesn't have more than it's share of bad news...Where ever that might be...lol I know, Toronto is getting out of hand...And I think nowadayz Somalis have the highest crime rate...Most of them don't get reported, cuz you know the family will beg you not to report it...Walaahay it is unbelievable...Just today someone was telling me some guy from Atl. got hit on the head with the but of a gun, and this is some other Somali guy hitting him with it...Ohh well...Gadaal kagaaraa goobtii dumiyay...
  22. Ameenah, shuqulak shuqulak yaa binti (af carbiga ka cabso)...Sheekadaada saas miyaa...Aanku arko anaaba ku aqaanee...Pound Land, aa, alaah anaa iska ba'ay...
