I am sick and tired of Somali men putting their women down, and saying they are ugly or they get fat once married and have children... Sure why not... Somethings that attract me to others are: -the way they talk (it is all about how they say it, and not what they say)most of the time -the way they respect others and themselves -their background (ie. education) -Their life style in general -and definately where the person is in life (ie. school, work, etc.) Those are some of the things that I consider, if the physical attraction is removed...Though, most of the time physical attraction ain't something I consider the base to develope an interest in the person...

I really HATE, and I mean Hate ppl who say Somali women in Canada call the cops on their husbands...I don't think they even think before they speak...Tell me how does someone get up one day and say "I think i'll call the cops on my husband today"...Unless the husband does something to make the woman call 911...Puhlease... Yes some women might go overboard with this whole 911 idea...But it ain't like most of us are that careless of our husbands...I am sure if every husband did as is required by him, there wouldn't be any reason to make that call... So, let's get this idea that Somali women in Canada call 911/cops on their husbands...If the husbands stayed home with their wives when they are not working, and help her with the children, all this wouldn't be happenning...But instead what do they do: they stand around donut shops, chew khad (and some of them with other women), they chase around every skirt that comes their way, etc... If we (both male and female) supported each other, stood by each other's side, be the other's shoulder, be as one, there wouldn't be any 911 calls now, would it? Let's just leave it at that, cuz I really don't like to bring down our Somali Men...But somebody has to say something... I think the women discribed at this post are certainly women with issues, whether mentally or otherwise...Not any woman in her "right" mind would call the police on her husband/boyfriend for nothing...I believe 911 is there for a reason...Yes, there are those who try to take advantange of it, everything in this world has pros and cons...And I thing the pros outweigh the cons here...It is nice to have a system the protects women, and I am all for it... I have no regret what's so eva as far as the guyz I met...I always learned a thing or two from them, or from that experience...Having a regret would not make you a better person, but learning from the mistake or the person would definatley make you a better person, and give you a better understand of life itself...
