The post-conflict reconstructing of Iraq is being headed by Vice President Dick Cheney:CEO of Haliburton an Oil-Services company. While CEO he set up subsidiary shell companies in off-shore tax havens, much like Enron. Though he was not alone in doing so, Harken Energy had done the same while George W. Bush was sitting on it's Board of Directors. This information was revealed this past August during the Enron debacle. ::::::::::: NOW HIS FORMER COMPANY IS LEADING THE ECONOMIC RECOVERY OF IRAQ :::::::::::

Its funny how CNN or for that matter any American news-network does not show such images. I though the country was keen on its FREEDOM. But I cannot stress it more , on the starchoice network channel 501 BBC News, shows more of the IRAQI side than CNN, but not AL-Jazeera. Northerner:::: I like the tag, Simon says listen to the track with cannibus on the LP. I suggest people to see this movie called LEFT BEHIND on the movie network (TMN) its talks about the 'anti-christ movement' the seven year of despair or some shit like that. It was weird check it out. PEACE Holla BACK http://www.somedia.tk

When Clinton was in power, he entailed the backbone secret of American policy making, he said that the US will go where its interests lie. Another interesting event in which Bush jr. said by mistake was that he will safeguard the freedom of the nation, and the only way to do that is by limiting the freedom of others. The thing is that in every forgien policy making the number criteria is territorial dignity, and when OSAMA crossed that line, he let the BEAST out. Again, it crucial to note how the US economy was struggling after 9-11 and you guess it, the best way to boost the economy is war making. Did you hear the NASDAQ was up 12% or so, best since October '82. On top of that, since CNN ignores to show any footages of the war, the real footages, BUSH's popularity is up to 60% or so. Now i hear the public is favouring the war, though there are protestors. This is the world, who's next IRAN??? TURKEY?? N. KOREA?? Holla Back http://www.somedia.tk

Someone mentioned that the UN works for the North, thats not true. The UN supports many underdeveloped countries, in particular those in the south. the annual budget of the UN is 5 billion, Janpan pays 20%, USA pays 25%, then Germany pays 10%, UK and FR, CHINA and RUSSIA don't pay enough. That is why Japan is arguing to get a Security council seat. BUt they can't get that becuase of WWII, same with Germany. Nonetheless, the UN is powerless when it comes to the US. It looks like the US has underestimated the IRAQI regime. ---- CNN is WACK---- I find the BBC to be more balanced than CNN. Holla Back http://www.somedia.tk

The US attacked IRAQ, its funny CNN keeps on mentioning that only 9 oil spots are buring, as apose to 30 in which they have mentioned. I strongly advice in avoidance of CNN. Question:::: SINCE the war began, do yal think BUSH will be prosecuted for attempted murder on Saddam on the International Court of Justice. ? Or has the UN become insignificant, looking back in history such as the League of Nations. Holla Back

Since it started : USSR vetoed pro-western states from membership, and USA did the same. Howeverr, USSR has more vetoes than US in the ealier periods when the Soviets were strong in thier establishment. But, USA started vetoing more in in support arab-israeli conflicts. -
Wud up yal. Much respect to Zaylici, who has relentlessly promoted the growth of our culture, from ancient to present, through enlightenment and his usage of this website. For that I cannot thank you enough. However, it’s interesting to start sharing these ideas through other means of communications, apart from this medium. Reason being is that we need to establish a firm communication medium, though the Internet is an effective medium. However, some of our brothers and sisters don’t have such opulence to delight themselves with such luxury. Well what I am trying to say is that we need to collect such enlightenment as this to establish a Somali archive consisting of our history, our culture, and contemporary thinkers such as Zaylici and other thinkers to broadcast their ideas more efficiently. I have already e-mailed Zaylici to my recollection once. Though he hasn’t replied, therefore, I assumed he was not interested in my proposal. However, if you are (Zaylici and others) please let me know, because I believe you would be a great contributor. (www.somedia.tk) - Though the site is not finished, nor was it suppose to be seen by others, I feel comfortable in sharing the site and its short and ill completed content with you.

CHINA will be the next superpower, for that matter even INDIA. I think population mass will be crucial in this century, becuz these countries literally have millions of soldiers since their pushing the billion people mark. I wouldn’t say Germany or Japan. Though technology is important, but how far can technology take you and did I mention China has some potential techno intellectuals. Same with India, computer engineers, and general engineers as well.

Humans are violent under certain conditions. However, these days such conditions are abundant and humanity will never obviously achieve perfect state of being. I noticed on this network most of the members argue that Somalians are horrible. I would like to stress that we are part of the human race and we should not be excluded. Personally I believe there are other forces which influence behaviour. We shouldn’t point fingers; we should just try to our part towards the betterment of the human race

Think of it from non-religion soldiers, jihad soldiers. Regardless of what might you think substantiates the conditional restrictions for jihad. Remember, the divine will must exist and people must be denied their right to practice their religion, not because of politics.

The difference between westernization and modernization is that actually nothing. They are both the same. What would you call modernization, how would you decide what it could be. Technology? Science? Human evolution? Moving away from the practical? The fact remains that the west came is defined modern, because of their technological advancements. In fact factors which differentiate the two hardly exist. Secondly, this is to the topic producer. Muslim countries are not democratic, Islam produces no value which constitutes the existence of a democratic system. From hard left feminist to laize-faire feminists will tell women are undermined. Though I somewhat disagree. The fact remains, modernization already exists in Islamic states. The effects of globalization has reached every corner of the world. An Arab student protests while wearing Guess jeans and drinking coke, going home to listen to his tupac cd. That’s modernization, the adaptation of the mainstream.

Plato argued that religions were noble lies, constructed to run the masses. Religion, in Somali our way of life, the way we lived far from belief. However, American society neglects religion and we are its subjects. You cannot expect much from the youth of today. The little imperfections are no longer stressed. But the major sins are of concern. It starts with the parents to discipline their children into religion. Nonetheless, when they come of age, no one can tell them what to do. Religion and politics, secondly, are linked closely. Political beliefs are usually made in the backdrop of religion, thus religion being the way of life. If change is to happen, Somali’s need to participate in politics. For that matter all Muslims need to do similar things. Recognizing religion is of importance to change. Muslims need to make their way of life (religion) to become of a norm. In a sense make it hip to be religious. -
Do we as Somalia’s care about the environment. If so list of the precautions you’ve taken to deal with environmental dilemmas. If not, are the prevalent restrictions plaguing our culture and the environment.
