  1. Who are we kidding, we’re all in relationships or have been in the past --- and lets not forget many youths don’t know much about the religion and its protocols when it comes to mattes of the heart. BTW, who invented the late night phone conversation trend.
  2. If you can find enough people there, why not, you can even get people from the states to come. As for me.. its too far for me to travel there, Toronto would be the ideal middle ground. Montrealhas limited amount of Somalis, but nonetheless, people from Ottawa and Toronto come here to lounge all the time, great restruants here, some parts of the city looks like Europe, and not to mention french speakers here, for people coming from toronto, they might feel like they're in another country.
  3. Our receptionist called in sick today, I’m answering phone calls --- 4 more hours to go.
  4. Word on the forum is that SOL-Americans and SOL-Brits have had several meet ups. So here’s the deal, can we get SOL-Canadians, which there are many, to meet up in Ottawa, or Toronto, which ever location has the most people. Is that possible – or we can do just Ottawa meet up and just T.dot meet up. We can create a mailing list – to keep people posted. SOL-Canadians, your opinion and ideas are needed here.
  5. Many view arranged marriages as being successful because many of them are unable to divorce. It is extremely hard for a couple to divorce because so many people, i.e. family are involved in the marriage – it is really hard to get a closure and often arranged marriages happen within families. One person could be miserable and unhappy in the marriage, and there might not even be understanding, but yet they’ll continue in their unhappy existence to please their families. If you really look it, is that the way to live life.
  6. I doubt nomads enjoy the drama that goes on here sometimes, many people are just instigating because they know there’s no harm done in the end, anything that happens in the virtual world stays in the virtual world, if people take it outside on to the real world than I’d say those people are seeking some excitement and drama in their lives.
  7. I think its okay to have a relationship before you get married, that way you get to know each other. Say going to the movies, dinner, and etc. Eventually a marriage from a prior relationship will be more successful than say an arranged marriage – I know Islam does not permit this, but what are we to do --- the way to do it is to get a third party to tag along and witness everything you do --- I’d say that’s a little awkward.
  8. If that’s the case, I would like to get a glimpse of this book – I’m guessing ORG is an international pimp, I got pro’s, I’ve got pro’s, in different area codes,
  9. You’re old when you start considering the religion after years of abandonment. You’re old when you start worrying about others other than yourself. Add to the list…..
  10. Animal farm it looks like you are in the middle of a very long draught in the women dept. LOL @ ORG – not at all, but if you have Canadian numbers toss them over, but if you’re talking about MSN Messenger hook ups and flirtations I’ll pass. I’m trying to abandon the whole virtual persona thing – I’ve even taken down my hi5 page, and my MSN list is getting shorter --- soon my virtual identity will be nonexistent.
  11. Treat a lady how she wants to be treated, don’t treat her the way society expects you to treat her ----- >>>>>> I’ve seen many classy hoodrats that’ demand respect, but are still bout it.
  12. I must say tho, something sounds dodgy about your meet-ups. I wouldn't go, if it was me. Zeph I’m not tryin to get all the nomads to meet up at once, just nomads that are near each other. I already know many nomads who live near me – I mean that’s how we all discovered SOL through referrals, I’d say let the Canadians worry about what my true intentions are.
  13. Japan >>>>> and check out the graffiti shops there, maybe tag couple of street walls while I’m there. Australia is second on the list.
  14. Someone is old when they die. but, i'd say someone is old when they're over 40.
  15. So the Americans and the Brits have had meet ups, L o Z you say, WHERE ARE THE CANADIANS>>>
  16. ^^^^^^^ that's why i tried to organize a meet up in various cities, but many people got nervous, they're more comfortable with their virtual identities.
  17. ^^^^^^ yeah the book series are great, i been able to get them on audio - even more i found his advice useful.
  18. Those who over-analyze marriage are those who are afraid of it the most. It seems like all the nomads on here are always discussing marriage, with all these forums popping up trying to cater to singles --- but none of them are ready to mingle with anyone on here, so I ask you what the point is. I say we should resort to bride kidnappings like those in Kyrgyzstan.

A good questionnaire, however, people should just meet and get familiar with each other and let them do their own questioning and surveying – I’d say you’re taking the fun out of the adventure. Despites harsh criticisms from others, I’d say good job --- still can’t believe you’re asking people to state their tribe and what tribe they’re looking for.
  20. Org I’m down for whatever that’s needed, sorry for the late confirmation, I stepped out of the office to head out to the mosque. Funny thing, the topic of the day was about giving what and donating to worthy causes, because they wanted to renovate the mosque. Nonetheless, I m down for whatever.
  21. I never complained about him, and you're not my boss don’t tell me what to do
  22. Actually my boss is not that bad, it’s just that I decided to show him today because I have been coming on time this whole week, and I didn’t want him to think that I was coming late to work. My boss is not mean, he’s actually nice.
