  1. Moles, Lily. Which reminded me of Redwall and Watership Down.
  2. ^LOL @ Faarax. I'm sorry Xanthus, I don't do interventions in these severe cases anymore. All you'll end up doing is hiding the CDs and branching out to include ABBA and Hootie and the Blowfish. **Must suppress painful memories**

Seek help.
  4. Che, The resistance is an umbrella term for anybody, regardless of political affiliation, that's fighting against the Tikray/TFG occupation. I think that's where we differ, Kashafa. The resistance ought to be united by a political vision, not opposition to the TFG as such. The TFG will soon be history, one way or another. Then what? If we arm and support clan militias, opportunistic warlords and a ragtag army of Islamist rebels, merely because they will fight against the TFG for myriad contradictory reasons, where will it get us? What will we do with them after? The tribal militias and other unsavoury groups can and will be put in their places once Somalia is liberated. But for now, they're fighting our war for us. By who? How? Why can't this group who will defeat the clan militias later defeat the TFG now? Ever heard of magical thinking?
  5. The link doesn't work. Or possibly only non-simpletons can access it.
  6. ^Oooh don't get me started on reality shows. Naden, sketchy memories eh. Isn't that the first sign of senility? Johnny, hey there cutie pants. As long as that's all that's tingling
  7. Best wishes Munira, and congratulations to the lucky guy.
  8. Honey, we're talking about the 1980's.
  9. Now I've blown the evening watching Pinky and The Brain clips on YouTube. Thanks Naden. For some reason 90s music didn't appeal to me. All that torrid R&B. I would start giggling every time those giant shirts start flapping on a Jodeci (or was it Boys II Men?) music video. Give me ironic, irreverent rock any day.
  10. Johnny, isn't it obvious? It's all in the hip swivel. They're Pinky, they're Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain!
  11. Munira, I love children's shows too. My favorite is Sesame Street. So tongue-in-cheek, that show. I'm sure a good number of the jokes are aimed at grown ups. When my older cousins would rather watch wrestling, I always side with the preschoolers I like Fairly OddParents, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, etc. There are some I loathe though: Barney, The Bernstein Bears, Pokemon, Power Rangers. 90s kids shows: The Adventures of Rupert Bear Johnny Bravo Ed, Edd, and Eddy DuckTales The Mysterious Cities of Gold
  12. I think I may be an A-person in denial.
  13. I'm feeling light-headed just reading this stuff. Good luck Umu Zakaria.
  14. ^And she wrestles alligators to relieve stress. Originally posted by Zafir: Me, Dude, you didn’t even ask me what sort of things I like in a partner. I want a woman like Cara, why, because of what I have seen her do. Last summer when Che sprained his leg in the soccer field, she ran across the field picked him up in her arms all the way to the parking lot, into her car and off to ER. You see, that’s the kind of woman I want. A total picker upper. Don't forget I was in heels and didn't even break a sweat. Che is one hefty boy... I wonder if someone's feeding him macmacaan on the sly.
  15. Zafir I can't believe you're not giving props to your tutor who spent hours and hours trying to teach you the periodic table of elements. You kept insisting the only important elements were Me and You, and that mixing them would produce the compound Bliss... anyone who puts up with that should get their own certificate.
  16. Also watch out for any irate lions oo la juqjuqeeyey
  17. ^^I went to a lot of trouble to find this just for you, SB.
  18. Aww, isn't that what puppies do before they're housebroken?
  19. ^Gosh, you could just buy a washer and dryer set for that price

  21. Darn, cute monkeys. I'm going to let you win that round. But watch your back.
  22. *Blushes* Shurrup you. Boys have cooties.
  23. ^That's because the only D, H, and I (that took some thought) are Somali. But there are non-Somali Bantu.
