Xanthus, do you still have the temp doing all your work?
-
^^I'm not sure I want the kind of perspective in which killing animals for fun is OK. I can understand prehistoric man doing it, 'twas the era before Halo and Half-life...
-
^^No, I'm an ambivalent omnivore.
-
Baashi, I wouldn't care, as long as they're not bashing in the heads of baby sea lions in the night club, just for the fun of it... LOL @ "doob dareen baa dilay". I like it.
-
Kool Kat, on the contrary I didn't blink at that part (come on, this is a thread opened by Baashi ), but closed the link after: We were introduced in the hunting field, constrained by the meticulous courtesies of which fox hunting is, in England, one of the few remaining preserves How romantic, to come across the love of your life while out to murder small animals for sport.

Depends on how fast you can forget the excruciating agony of the first one. I heard that a woman's brain actually shrinks during pregnancy*. This explains a lot. *It does eventually bounce back.

^Tan waa yaraan.
-
^I found out you can select a highlighter or felt tip pen kind of pointer during the slide show. My dream is to one day, while someone is asking a convoluted question, to casually scribble "F U" across the screen while nodding and smiling. One day.

^Well then, the next time you see her you can tell her she has nothing to fear because he's not Pakistani.
-
^^Goodness, aren't we judgmental today. Do you know that the majority of domestic homicides are committed against women after they flee their abusive husbands? Maybe the poor lax has a more realistic outlook on life than you.
-
Come now, a hello kitty dildo? **sorry**
-
^Hmmm, just wait till the mass grave of loose women turns up in some nice guy's barn.
-
^No, it's "Ride on Time".

Val, I'm ashamed to admit Me's right. You don't wanna know what I guessed, but it involved cream puffs and lots of Gatorade. Ms D & D, I thought the music video was kinda cheesy.

All the Things (Your Man Won't Do)... LOL, I don't know this one, but it reminded me of Meatloaf's "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)". The brainstorming session that song inspired as we argued about what it was he wouldn't do...

Rahima, In all fairness to Aaliyah, you can't make a choice without judging it to be better than the alternative. And a career woman who chooses to stay at home would probably not neglect her children. The most neglectful parents I've seen are women who believe they shouldn't work, or can't work, but there isn't a mindful choice to stay at home and raise a family either. They don't plan their families, kids come willy-nilly. There's virtually no attention or care given to the children aside from feeding them and herding them into bed at night. Those kind of kids have a nanny too, better known as a television.

^What, it's got Somali organs?

LOL. Xanthus, you wouldn't be able to finish a loaf of bread in 2 months? What do you do, eat a quarter slice at a time? Me, think of it as an adventure, sailing off into the unknown...
-
Xanthus, you can freeze cooked food. Make pasta sauce, portion it in freezer bags. You can cook the pasta as needed. You can also freeze breads, so buy the whole loaf and just pop the slices in the toaster. Fruits and veggies are what you need to buy weekly or semi-weekly.

^And who'd believe a character so shady as to be your friend? I don't even know who those artists you listed are, all their music must be on vinyl. But really JB, it's elementary. You started at the company straight outta college, and now you're hirin' and firin'. Unless the President is your dad, you must've worked your way up the slippery ladder (and knowing what a playa you are, it must've taken a while). Don't blame me for my brilliant deductioning **Doing her best to keep going the tradition of Page-2-Off-Topic-Blather**
-
What? Who, me? I just meant 3 years is a looong time
-
^LOL. But I still don't get it JB. How could you have been recruited out of college and still be with the same company? Do you live in Japan?
