  1. They must be making a killing on the advertisements. I got to level 45!
  2. ^It's like SOL Days of Our Lives. An hour well-wasted. Admit it KK. Isn't that why he's taken up exercise? I understand swimming is great LOW IMPACT aerobic workout for the older gents
  3. KK, I guess you can't be married to him. You pay him far too much attention. Maybe it's an emotional affair!
  4. ^Give my regards to Jaceylbro.
  5. Val, how is surfing the web and watching Firefly "working"? Tsk tsk. *Re-arranges papers, gets tea, takes out trash, re-re-arranges papers, looks up Henry VI on Wikipedia* Whew, I need a break.
  6. ^Is that the rate at which you're losing your hearing, hair, or figure?
  7. ^Then you could have a flip-flopper scale on the Z axis. John "Maybe" Kerry on one end, George "I talk to God every night" Bush on the other. Economic Left/Right: -3.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.56 I think my approval of spanking kids kicked me up a notch on the vertical axis
  8. Serenity, the lady doth protest too much BACK TO THE TOPIC (sort of): May I just point out that the risk of death and disability from carrying a child to term is far greater than the health risks associated with the pill?
  9. LOL. Well played Pujah. Or is that Puujah? Serenity, I bet you insisted on being the first to start the game each time so you can get that coveted center square.

    Addicted

Alright, I'm starting a SOLoholics Anonymous. "Hello, my name is Cara and I've been an addict for 1 year." All movies ever show of AA meetings is this part. What is supposed to happen next? And why is it called "anonymous" if the first thing you do is introduce yourself?

    Abaayo mac isi

LOL @ Nephy. You can't say that. Men are really suggestible in that department, just putting the thought in his head is cruel.

    Abaayo mac isi

It's funny. And it's not bad advice really

  14. ^And just what where you doing with her? Getting your own personal forecast?
  15. ^Are you saying "thug" or "tuug" or is this a clever portmanteau?
  16. I heard it too. The funny thing is that two people were being interviewed but only one was speaking the whole time. I bet the book was as much of a "we" effort.
  17. ^Seems like you're going through severe withdrawal Sheekh.

That's news to me. Please tell me where all these free colleges are. Free tuition is most common in Europe (Germany, Denmark, Sweden, etc) but even Harvard recently began waiving tuition for low income families.
  19. A special comb oo garka lagu shanleeyo.
  20. ^^LOL. Wicked women. If I was waiting at home holding a belt, it damn better be because I'm ready to lay down the law. Isagoo gariiraya guriga ha soo galo, rather Underdog, The whole premise of this thread is "SOME women (for whatever reason) cannot find a man". The premise of this thread is that Clever-Trevor found his first gray hair this week, but still hasn't made a significant impact on the world or achieved any of his grand dreams, and he knows where the blame lies: All those women who fail to realize that "a smart woman makes a great man". I don't see any of the guys running around complaining there's no women out there. But that's because men are apparently attracted to eediots. Since eediots are far more abundant that non-eediots (in either sex), guys get their pick of any woman with an accessible uterus. Basic math. The embarrassing thing, I think, is that a Somali man is complaining about Somali women having too high a standard, when in reality the standard for Somalis is hardly that they run Command Central at NASA or that they pull in 6-figure salaries or have books in the best-seller lists. We're talking about mere college education to make a decent living, for pete's sake. You don't have to be a genius to go to college, and in much of the world it's either free or heavily subsidized. It's not that not going to college makes you a loser. It's that, given opportunities people in Somalia can only dream off, to not strive for success when it's practically handed to you is not only lazy, but selfish and unattractive. To top it off by whining about women not lowering their standards to "Must be breathing; must not drool" is cringe-inducing.
  21. ^You know Oprah. Oprah doesn't know you. When you get married you will still know Oprah. Oprah still won't know you Zenobia, I was really trying to make a point about blanket generalizations. I thought KK would take offense, and then we'd have a lesson well-learned. But I'm beginning to think Kool Kat is actually just plain Krazy Val, it's in fact true that you're 90% sugar and spice, and 10% everything nice. I have the chemical analysis right here to prove it LOL @ Gediid. Then best to prepare for it with grim resignation eh?
  22. Trevor, it was not collectivism but patriarchy. Of course you would feel nostalgic for it since men had it so much better. Exercise some common sense. Not all women yearn to be your vertebrae. Kool_Kat, most married women I know seem to feel threatened by single women. I don't really understand completely but I have some ideas
  23. ^Do they? This whole thread reminds me of this New Yorker cartoon:
