SaLLaM CaLLyKuM Men Vs Women......... There are five things that women should never, ever ask a guy, according to an article in an issue of Sassy magazine. The five questions are: 1 - "What are you thinking?" 2 - "Do you love me?" 3 - "Do I look fat?" 4 - "Do you think she is prettier than me?" 5 - "What would you do if I died?" What makes these questions so bad is that every one is guaranteed to explode into a major argument and/or divorce if the man does not answer properly, which is to say dishonestly. For example: 1 - "What are you thinking?" The proper answer to this question, of course is, "I'm sorry if I've been pensive, dear. I was just reflecting on what a warm, wonderful, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, beautiful woman you are and what a lucky guy I am to have met you." Obviously, this statement bears no resemblance whatsoever to what the guy was really thinking at the time, which was most likely one of five things: a - Football b - Baseball c - How fat you are. d - How much prettier she is than you. e - How he would spend the insurance money if you died. According to the Sassy article, the best answer to this stupid question came from Al Bundy, of Married With Children, who was asked it by his wife, Peg. "If I wanted you to know," Al said, "I'd be talking instead of thinking." The other questions also have only one right answer but many wrong answers: 2 - "Do you love me?" The correct answer to this question is, "Yes." For those guys who feel the need to be more elaborate, you may answer, "Yes, dear." Wrong answers include: a - I suppose so. b - Would it make you feel better if I said yes. c - That depends on what you mean by "love". d - Does it matter? e - Who, me? 3 - "Do I look fat?" The correct male response to this question is to confidently and emphatically state, "No, of course not" and then quickly leave the room. Wrong answers include: a - I wouldn't call you fat, but I wouldn't call you thin either. b - Compared to what? c - A little extra weight looks good on you. d - I've seen fatter. e - Could you repeat the question? I was thinking about your insurance policy. 4 - "Do you think she's prettier than me?" The "she" in the question could be an ex-girlfriend, a passer-by you were staring at so hard that you almost caused a traffic accident or an actress in a movie you just saw. In any case, the correct response is, "No, you are much prettier." Wrong answers include: a - Not prettier, just pretty in a different way. b - I don't know how one goes about rating such things. c - Yes, but I bet you have a better personality. d - Only in the sense that she's younger and thinner. e - Could you repeat the question? I was thinking about your insurance policy. 5 - "What would you do if I died?" Correct answer: "Dearest love, in the event of your untimely demise, life would cease to have meaning for me and I would perforce hurl myself under the front tires of the first Domino's Pizza truck that came my way." This might be the stupidest question of the lot, as is illustrated by the following stupid joke: "Dear," said the wife. "What would you do if I died?" "Why, dear, I would be extremely upset," said the husband. "Why do you ask such a question?" "Would you remarry?" persevered the wife. "No, of couse not, dear" said the husband. "Don't you like being married?" said the wife. "Of course I do, dear" he said. "Then why wouldn't you remarry?" "Alright," said the husband, "I'd remarry." "You would?" said the wife, looking vaguely hurt. "Yes" said the husband. "Would you sleep with her in our bed?" said the wife after a long pause. "Well yes, I suppose I would." replied the husband. "I see," said the wife indignantly. "And would you let her wear my old clothes?" "I suppose, if she wanted to" said the husband. "Really," said the wife icily. "And would you take down the pictures of me and replace them with pictures of her?" "Yes. I think that would be the correct thing to do." "Is that so?" said the wife, leaping to her feet. "And I suppose you'd let her play with my golf clubs, too." "Of course not, dear," said the husband. "She's left-handed." Fi AmaaN ALLAH O u T

PeAcE B WiTh YaLL ((KHADIJA bint Khuwaylid )) **Khadijah, may Allah be pleased with her, came from a noble family. Her father Khuwaylid had been one of the most honored leaders of their tribe until he was killed in battle. Her husband had also died, leaving her a very wealthy woman. When Muhammad (peace be upon him) was still a young man, she entrusted him with some of her wealth, asking him to trade with it in Syria on her behalf. He was already well known for his honesty, truthfulness and trustworthiness. He returned from Syria after having made a large profit for Khadijah. After hearing his account of the journey, she decided that he would make the best of the husbands, even though many of the most important nobles of the Quraish had already proposed to her and had been refused, and in due course she proposed to him. After the Prophet's uncle, Abu Talib, had given the proposed marriage his blessing, Muhammad and Khadijah were married. At the time of the marriage, the Prophet was twenty-five years old, while Khadijah was forty years old. For the next fifteen years they lived happily together, and Khadijah bore several children. Their first child, a son whom they named Qasim, died when he was only two years old. Two more sons, called Tayyib and Tahir, were also born, but they too died in their infancy. However, Muhammad and Khadijah also had four daughters who survived: Zaynab, Ruqayya, Umm Kulthum and Fatima. No one except Allah of course, knows more about a man than his wife, both his good and his bad qualities, his strengths and his weaknesses. The more Khadijah came to know about her husband, the more she loved and respected him. Everyone in Makka called him 'al-Amin', which means 'the trustworthy one', and she, more than anyone else, knew how fitting this name was. It became Muhammad's custom each year to spend the month of Ramadan in seclusion and reflection in a cave on the mountain of Hira, which is on the outskirts of Makka. Khadijah would always make sure that he was provided with food and drink during his retreat. Towards the end of one Ramadan, when he was forty and Khadijah fifty-five, Muhammad suddenly appeared at their house in the middle of the night, trembling with fear and saying, "Cover me up, cover me up!" Khadijah was very alarmed to see him in such a state. Quickly she wrapped a blanket around his shoulders and, when he had calmed down, she asked him to describe exactly what had happened. He told her how a being whom he had never seen before - in fact it was the angel Jibril - had suddenly appeared to him while he was asleep and had said, "Read!" "But I cannot read," he had replied, for he was unlettered and could neither read or write. "Read!" the angel had repeated, clasping Muhammad close to his chest. "I cannot read," he had repeated. "Read!" the angel had repeated, firmly embracing him yet again. "What shall I read?" he had asked in desperation, and the angel had replied: Read, in the Name of your Lord who created, created man from a clot, Read, and your Lord is the Most Gracious, Who taught with the pen, taught man what he did not know. (Quran 96:1-5) Although Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not fully realize it at the time, this was the beginning of the revelation of the Qur'an; but in that first encounter with the angel Jibril, Muhammad was very frightened, for he did not know who the angel Jibril was or what was happening. He woke up and ran out of the cave only to find Jibril still in front of him, and whenever he turned away from him, there Jibril was in front of him yet again, filling the horizon with his mighty yet beautiful form. "Oh Muhammad," said Jibril eventually, "you are the Messenger of Allah and I am Jibril," and with these words he disappeared from Muhammad's sight. After the angel had disappeared Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had clambered down the mountain as fast as he could run, not knowing if he was going mad and imagining things, or if he had been possessed by one of the jinn. As she listened to Muhammad's words, Khadijah did not share any of these fears. She realized that something tremendous and awe-inspiring had happened to her husband, and she was certain, knowing him as she did, that he was neither mad nor possessed. "Do not worry," she said, "for by Him who has dominion over Khadijah's soul, I hope that you are the Prophet of this nation. Allah would never humiliate you, for you are good to your relatives, you are true to your word, you help those who are in need, you support the weak, you feed the guest and you answer the call of those who are in distress." When Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as a little more relaxed, Khadijah took him to see her cousin, Waraqa ibn Nawfal, for he was a man of knowledge, and she was sure that he would be able to explain the meaning of what had just happened to her beloved husband. Waraqa had studied the books of both the Jews and the Christians very closely and he had learned a great deal from many of their wisest people. He knew that the coming of another Prophet had been foretold by both Moses and Jesus, peace be on them, anhe knew many of the signs that would confirm the identity of this Prophet when he appeared. After listening closely to his story, Waraqa, who was both old and blind, exclaimed, "This is the same being who brought the revelations of Allah to Moses. I wish I was young and could be alive whyour people will drive you out." "Will they drive me out?" asked Muhammad. "Yes," replied Waraqa. "No one has come with what you have been given without being treated with enmity; and if I were to live until the day when you are turned out, then I would support you with all my might. Let me just feel your back." So, saying, Waraqa felt between the Prophet's shoulder-blades and found what he was feeling for: a small round, slightly raised irregularity in the skin, about the size of a pigeon's egg. This was yet another of the many signs that Waraqa already knew would indicate the identity of the next Prophet after Jesus, (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). "This is the Seal of the Prophethood!" he exclaimed. "Now I am certain that you are indeed the Prophet whose coming was foretold in the Torah that was revealed to Moses and in the Injil that was revealed to Jesus, (pbut) You are indeed the Messenger of Allah, and the being who appeared to you on the mountain was indeed the angel Jibril!" Khadijah as both overjoyed and awed to find that her understanding of what had happened on the mountain had been confirmed. Not long after this incident, Muhammad was commanded in a subsequent revelation from Allah, through the angel Jibril, to call people to worship Allah only, and it was at this point that Khadijah did not hesitate in expressing in public what she had now known for certain in secret for some time: " I bear witness that there is no god except Allah," she said, "and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." In the years that followed, difficult years in which the leaders of the Quraish did everything in their power to stop the Prophet spreading his message, Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) was a constant source of help and comfort to Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the difficulties which he had to face. All her wealth was spent in the way of Allah, helping to spread the message of her husband, helping to free slaves who had embraced Islam, and helping to feed and shelter the community of Muslims that slowly but surely began to grow in numbers and strength. The Quraish were infuriated by the Prophet's success and did everything in their power to discourage both him and his followers, often inflicting awful tortures on them, but without success. The situation became so bad that the Prophet told some of his followers to go to Abyssinia, where their ruler, the Negus, who was a sincere Christian gave them shelter and protection. Eventually there came a time when, as Waraqa had foretold, Muhammad and his followers -along with all the members of his tribe, the Banu Hashim were driven out of the city of Mecca and forced to camp out in a small ravine in the mountains nearby. This happened long after Waraqa had died, and about seven years after that extraordinary night of power in which Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had received the first revelation of Quran through the angel Jibril. There, while their homes lay empty in Mecca, the Muslims were exposed to the bitterly cold nights of winter and the fiery hot days of summer, with very little food and shelter. No one would buy and sell with the Muslims, or allow their sons and daughters to marry any of them. Fortunately those who secretly sympathized with the Muslims would send what food they could to them whenever the chance arose, sometimes by loading provisions onto a camel or a horse and then sending it off at a gallop in the direction of the camp, hoping that the animal would not stop or get lost before it reached its intended destination. For three years the small Muslim community lived a life of hardship and deprivation, but although they suffered from hunger and thirst, and from exposure to heat and cold, this was a time in which the hearts of the first Muslims were both purified and also filled with the light of knowledge and wisdom. The Muslims knew that they were following the truth, and so nothing else mattered. They did not care what the Quraish did to them or said about them. Allah and His Messenger were enough for them! It was during this period that the Muslims who had sought shelter in Abyssinia returned, only to find the situation even worse than when they had left it. Not long after, many of them returned to Abyssinia, their numbers swelled by those whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had told to accompany them. Finally the boycott was lifted and the Muslims were allowed to re enter the city; but the three years of hardship had taken their toll. First of all the Prophet's uncle, Abu Talib, who was by then more than eighty years old, died; and then a few months later, during the month of Ramadan, Khadijah also died, at the age of sixty-five, may Allah be pleased with her. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mourned her deeply. They had shared twenty-five years of marriage together and she had given birth to five of his children. Only one of the Prophet's future wives, Maria the Copt, would give him another child, Ibrahim, and he, like Qasim, was destined to die when he was still very young, at the age of eighteen months. Khadijah had been the first to publicly accept Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as the Messenger of Allah, and she had never stopped doing all she could to help him. Love and mercy had grown between them, increasing in quality and depth as the years passed by, and not even death could take this love away. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never stopped loving Khadijah, and although he married several more wives in later years and loved them all, it is clear that Khadijah always had a special place in his heart. Indeed whenever 'Aisha, his third wife, heard the Prophet speak of Khadijah, or saw him sending food to Khadijah's old friends and relatives, she could not help feeling jealous of her, because of the love that the Prophet still had for her. Once Aisha asked him if Khadijah had been the only woman worthy of his love. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "She believed in me when no one else did; she accepted Islam when people rejected me; and she helped and comforted me when there was no one else to lend me a helping hand." It had been related by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on one occasion, when Khadijah was still alive, Jibril came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, Khadijah is just coming with a bowl of soup (or food or drink) for you. When she comes to you, give her greetings of peace from her Lord and from me, and give her the good news of a palace of jewels in the Garden, where there will be neither any noise nor any tiredness." After the Prophet's uncle, Abu Talib, and his first wife, Khadijah, had both died in the same year, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his small community of believers endured a time of great hardship and persecution at the hands of the Quraish. Indeed the Prophet, who was now fifty years old, name this year 'the Year of Sorrow.' In private his dearest wife was no longer present to share his life; and in public the insults that he received from the Quraish multiplied, now that he had no longer had the protection of his dead uncle. Even when he journeyed to Ta'if, a small city up in the mountains outside Mecca, to call its people to worship Allah, he was rejected and stoned by them. It has been related by Aisha that on his way back to Mecca, Jibril appeared to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "Allah, may He be exalted and glorified, has heard what the people have said to you and how they have responded to your invitation, and he has sent the angel in charge of the mountains so that you can tell him what you want him to with them." Then the angel in charge of the mountains called out to him and greeted him and said, "O Muhammad, Allah has listened to what your people have said to you. I am the angel in charge of the mountains, and your Lord has sent me so that you can order me to do whatever you want. If you wish, I can bring the mountain of the outskirts of Mecca together so that they are crushed between them." But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Rather I hope that Allah will make their descendants a people who will worship Allah alone, without ascribing any partners to him." It was a while after this that tfollowing Surah was revealed: In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate By the morning hours, and by the night when it is stillest, Your Lord has not forsake you nor does He hate you, And truly what comes after will be better for you than what has come before, And truly your Lord will give to you so that you will be content. Did he not find you an orphan and protect you? Did he not find you wandering and guide you? Did he not find you destitute and enrich you? So do not oppress the orphan, And do not drive the beggar away, And speak about the blessings of Your Lord. (Quran 93:1-11) And so it happened. After three years of constant struggle, a relative of his, called Khawla, went to him and pointed out that his house was sadly neglected and that his daughters needed a mother to look after them. "But who can take the place of Khadijah?" he asked. "Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr, the dearest of people to you," she answered. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) had been the first man to accept Islam and he was the Prophet's closest companion. Like Khadijah, he had done all that he could do to help the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and had spent all his wealth in the way of Allah. However, while the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was now fifty-three years old, Aisha as only a little girl of seven. She was hardly in a position to look after either the Prophet's household or children. "She is very young." Replied the Prophet. Khawla had a solution for everything. She suggested that he marry at the same time a lady called Sawda, the widow of Al-Sakran ibn 'Amr. Wa BiLLaHi ToWFiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiQ

How to End Racism * Recent events remind us that racism remains rampant. Yet we can easily end racism through understanding and education. People must realize that God created all humans from one couple, thus making the entire human race one large extended family. God says: “O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord who created you from a single soul (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife (Eve); and from the two of them He spread abroad a multitude of men and women…” (Qur’an 4:1) Furthermore, we must understand that no race is superior to another. We appreciate a garden having many different flowers because we realize that each adds something to the beauty of the entire arrangement. This is why we do not object to the color of any flower. In a similar way we can see the world as a garden decorated with people of different colors. Let us appreciate that each variety of people contributes something to the spice of life in this world. God says: “O mankind! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that you may know each other. Verily, The noblest of you in the sight of Allah, is the most pious (righteous) of you.” (Qur’an 49:13) The noblest are the most obedient to God. Such persons may belong to nay race or country. What really matters is their conduct and behavior. The prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), publicly declared that Arabs are not superior to non-Arabs, and one color is not superior to another. In a day when light-skinned people could not imagine a black person as their leader, the prophet appointed a black person, Usaamah, the son of Zaid, as a leader. As a result of following these teachings, many people have banished racism from their thoughts and actions. You can still see racial harmony today in the mosques of cosmopolitan cities. You will find people of various colors worshipping together, all with equal status before God. Rich or poor, black or white, kind or pauper all lines us side by side to worship. No special preference is given to anyone based on color or social status. The leader in a mosque is appointed for his learning in the religious sciences, regardless of skin color. There is no such concept as a ‘black mosque’ or ‘white mosque’. Islam removes such destructive concepts. The Center for call & guidance in Qatar For more information on Islam visit these sites: www.sultan.org www.alharamain.org www.Why-islam.com ---- Volume 5, Book 57, Number 17: Narrated Abdullah bin Umar: That Allah's Apostle said, "Allah will not look on the Day of Judgment at him who drags his robe (behind him) out of pride." Abu Bakr said "One side of my robe slacks down unless I get very cautious about it." Allah's Apostle said, "But you do not do that with a pride." The Prostration, Worship, Adoration (Arabic) - Recite 32:15 Only those believe in Our Signs, who, when they are recited to them, fall down in adoration, and celebrate the praises of their Lord, nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride. PeAcE B WiTh ALL MuSlImZ Inimitable It dares you to disprove it. How? It says that humans cannot write a book like this even if they pooled all their resources together and got help also from the spirits. The Qur’an said this fourteen hundred years ago and yet no one has been able to disprove it. Billions of books have been written-but not another one like the Qur’an. Incorruptible It is the only religious sacred writing that has been in circulation for such a long time and yet remains as pure as it was in the beginning. The Qur’an was kept intact. Nothing was added to it; nothing was changed in it; and nothing was taken away from it ever since its revelation was completed 1400 hundred years ago. Unsurpassable The Qur’an is God’s final revelation to humankind. God revealed the Torah to Moses, the Psalms to David, the Gospel to Jesus, and finally the Qur’an to Muhammad. Peace be upon them all. No other book will come from God to surpass His final revelation. Indisputable The Qur’an withstands the test of time and scrutiny. No one can dispute the truth of this book. It speaks about past history and turns out right. It speaks about the future in prophecies and it turns out right. It mentions details of physical phenomena which were not known to people at the time; yet later scientific discoveries prove that the Qur’an was right all along. Every other book needs to be revised to accord with modern knowledge. The Qur’an alone is never contradicted by a newly discovered scientific fact. Your Roadmap for Life and Afterlife The Qur’an is the best guidebook on how to structure your life. No other book presents such a comprehensive system involving all aspects of human life and endeavor. The Qur’an also points out the way to secure everlasting happiness in the afterlife. It is your roadmap showing how to get to Paradise. God’s Gift of Guidance God has not left you alone. You were made for a reason. God tells you why he made you, what he demands from you and what he has in store for you. If you operate a machine contrary to it’s manufacturer’s specification you will ruin that machine. What about you? Do you have an owner’s manual for yourself? The Qur’an is from the Divine Manual your Maker. It is a gift for you to make sure you function for success, lest you fail to function. It is a healing from God. It satisfies the soul, and cleans the heart. It removes doubts and brings peace. Your Calling Card to Communicate with your Lord Humans are social creatures. We love to communicate with the other intelligent life. The Qur’an tells us how to communicate with the source of all intelligence and the source of all life-the One God. The Qur’an, tells us who God is, by what name we should address Him, and the way in which to communicate with Him. Are these not seven sufficient points for reading the Qur’an? The above du'a is to be recited when there is uncertainty about the advisability of taking a decision, provided it is Islamically permissable. 2. After performing wudu' (ablution), one should offer two rakahs (sunnah required for this purpose). 3. Before receiting the dua' it should be made sure that the person is not already inclined to a given decision; otherwise it will mean the person is not serious about seeking guidance from Allah (SWT). 4. In making this dua' the actual matter or decision concerning which divine guidance is being sought should be mentioned instead of the words (Hathal Amra) in transliteration or the words "this matter" in the translation above. 5. After reciting the dua' (immediately or later on), one may feel more favorably disposed toward one choice or the other. PeAcE B WiTh ALL MuSlImZ Indeed, Allah has forbidden the Muslims from fornication and all the pathways, which lead to it. He (s) has said (which means): "And do not come near zinaa (fornication)! Indeed, it is an abomination, and an evil way." (Al-Israa':32) Among the many things that excite passions between man and a woman, is touching. Thus, touching, which opens the door to fornication, is also forbidden, as it is a form of fornication. The Prophet (s) said: "The eyes fornicate. Their fornication is the (illegal) look. The hands fornicate. Their fornication is the touch. The feet fornicate. Their fornication is the walking (towards a woman). The heart desires, and the private parts either confirm it or deny it." (Al-Bukharee) Unfortunately, some forms of this type of fornication is unavoidable. Although, we may not commit the indecent sexual act in itself, indeed, our eyes, our hands, and our feet fornicate at least once in our lives. There is no doubt about that, as the Prophet (s) 1. The Warning from the Prophet (s) The Prophet (s) said: "It is better for a spike to be driven into your head than for you to touch a woman that is not permissible for you (to touch)." (Recorded by at-Tabaraanee in al-Kabeer) According to the above narration, we can plainly see the prohibition of a man touching a woman. Although the Prophet (s) did not directly command the Muslims to not do it, his statements show the severity of the consequences of committing such an act. If it were allowed to touch non-related men and women, then the Prophet (s) would not have spoken so drastically of the one who does so. Consequentially, it is forbidden for the man to touch any woman that he is not a mahram for, as well as a woman to touch any man that is not a mahram to her. This is the opinion that the majority of the scholars have taken and it is the truth of which there is no doubt. Ahmad Bin Hanbal ® said: "This specified look at women strangers, as well as touching them is forbidden. "(al-Muntahaa). Commenting on the hadeeth, al-Albaanee said: "In this hadeeth, there is a severe threat to he who touches a woman that is not permissible for him. In it is also a proof for the prohibition of shaking hands with women, because that entails touching without a doubt." (As-Saheehah: no.226) Apart from the above mentioned men, the Muslim woman is not allowed to touch any man whether Muslim or non-Muslim. If she does so then she has fallen into sin and commenced on one of the many pathways toward fornication. And we seek Allah's refuge from that! said: "Every one of the sons of Aadam has his share of fornication written for him." (al Bukharee) Therefore, we must try our best to avoid fornication and every pathway leading to it. Since the hand has the capability of fornicating, then it is forbidden for the woman to touch a man that is not mahram to her. A mahram is someone that the Muslim woman is permitted to uncover (her veil) in front of. They consist of her father, husband, brother, mother's brothers, father's brothers, and all the others mentioned in Sooraat an-Noor:31 in the Qur'an. We shall present a brief look at the evidences prohibiting non-related men and women from touch each other, from three perspectives. 2. Arguments Although the above evidences and ruling based on such, may seem clear and evident, some raise arguments that may seem contradictory to what is established. However, they do not present a contradiction, and will be answered: No Prohibition Someone may say, "The Prophet (s) did not directly prohibit not touching women. His not doing so is only his Sunnah (example) and something only for him." The claim that he (S) did not prohibit it, is a claim that could only be made by those who lack knowledge of basic fiqh principles. It is through these principles that we understand how to apply Allah's legislation. Among these basic principles are the following: 1. Something is obligatory to avoid, if not doing so would incur the commission of something prohibited. He (s) said: "It is better for a spike to be driven into your head than for you to touch a woman that is not permissible for you (to touch)." So avoiding 'touching a woman' is obligatory, since it is worse than driving a spike into your head. So such a naive statement implies the following: "The Prophet (s) did no prohibit driving a spike into one's own head, rather, he only avoiding doing it as a Sunnah that was particular to him?!!!? 2. The usage of the statement 'not permissible' implies 'not permissible', unless there is a text to clarify that it is only disliked or abrogated, etc. Ambiguity One may say, "The hadeeth is not clear, since the word used for touch (massa) can either mean a touch with sexual desire or a touch without desire. Therefore, a touch with no lust involved is allowed (i.e. with an old man)." This would be a possibility if there were conflicting texts, which is not the case here. For example, does touching the private part break wudhu' or not. Some narrations say, "It is part of him" whereas another says that it requires wudhu'. In this case, when two texts coincide, harmonization must be made, or abrogation must be demonstrated. So then this claim is a possibility. But on the other hand, passing wind breaks wudhu', whether it is done out of pleasure or not, and on one claims otherwise, and this is because there is no text to require that! Not In The Qur'aan One may claim, "The command for not touching is in a hadeeth and not in the Qur'aan. Therefore, Allaah has not prohibited it." There are many texts to prove that the one who disobeys the Messenger has disobeyed Allaah. Therefore, when a person says this, it is important for them to repent from the disbelief that they have expressed than to be concerned with the issue that we are discussing. Indeed saying a statement of kufr like this one, and believing in it, is worse than having a spike driven in one's head. Therefore we can only say as Allaah has said to Muhammad (s). 'Then if they disobey you, say , "Indeed I am innocent of what you do." ' (Ash-Sha'raa' 26:216) This is at two step process, first innocence is claimed, and then; 'So they disobeyed the Messengers of their Lord, so He punished them all with abounding destruction.' (al- Haaqah 69:10) Then all of those who disobey the Messenger (s) are destroyed, either in this life or the Hereafter. So indeed this is a matter much worse than a spike in the head. 3. The Rule of Necessity It is allowable for a man to touch a woman not related to him in the case of emergency, such as when a woman has no option but to be treated by a male-doctor, and she is in dire need of treatment, or when there is a life-or-death emergency. These rules fall under the rule of necessity. Wa BiLLaHiToWFiiiiiiiiiQ OuT

pEaCe b wItH aLl MuSlImZ hErE A STOrY bY A mUSLIM sIStEr By SAFIYAH JOHNSON In 1992, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She was like an angel, I had never seen a more beautiful baby, and she seemed too good to be true. She was. In November of the same year, when baby Tina was just 5 months old, she died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (also known as SIDS). I was devastated, and angry, I didn’t understand how God could take my child when there were babies in the world who were suffering. At the funeral people assured me, "You’ll see her in heaven someday." I would just say, "How do you know I’m going to heaven?" Well, I decided to set out to find the true religion, which would put me on the path to see my daughter again. Having been raised a Christian, I could no longer blindly accept the religion as I could before. I needed answers, I needed something to make sense. Every night for two years I would pray the same thing. "Dear God. I know you already know what is in my heart, but I am hurting. You took away my baby when I wasn’t looking. I didn’t even get to say goodbye. I want to see her again. So, could you please show me the right path? The one you want me to take? I can’t believe that Christianity is what you want of me. It doesn’t make sense to me. So please show what the right religion is so I can get started. Thank you very much. Oh, and could you send me a Husband so I can have more babies? Thanks God, please take good care of my baby, tell her I love her and I miss her very much." By the time I finished, I would be in tears. I studied many religions, but none could hold my interest. I began to think that God had forgotten about me, that he had more important things to do. Then one day, when I was working in a bar, I met another woman who worked there. We became friends, and she told me about her "Grand Plan". She asked me if I would go to Malaysia to set up an import/export contact for her. She couldn’t leave her children behind, and she would pay me, plus cover all of my expenses. I said, "When do I leave?" I got on the plane with only two suitcases, my purse and no knowledge of how I was going to accomplish my goals, let alone where I was going to stay. I was so excited! I arrived in Malaysia in the middle of Ramadan. Everyone was so nice to me, and I was so paranoid. I kept thinking people were going to mug me, or maybe something worse. But not only were they just being nice, they didn’t want anything in return. Never have I met a more wonderful group of people than when I was in Malaysia. I asked the cab driver why everyone was in such a good mood, he said, "This is Ramadan, and whenever we do a good deed, Allah will reward us double." I said, "Cool God." At the hotel, I engaged in many arguments with the bell boys about which religion is better. Islam vs. Christianity. I didn’t win one fight. They asked me questions about my own religion I couldn’t answer. And why on earth was I defending a religion I don’t even believe in ???? They would take me out to eat, and not eat. The women wore long sleeves and scarves. If I lost my temper, they would only walk away. This was too much. Every time I asked them why they did something, all they could say was "Because the Qur’an tells us to". Wrong answer for an American like me. That’s like my mom telling me I could not stay up late "Because I said so". I needed concrete answers. So, with the help of a Malay friend, I bought a Qur’an, and a few other books about Islam. I locked myself in my room for two weeks. I would not come out for anything or anyone. I read the Qur’an and the books. After 48 hours I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I had found what I had searched for. This is what God wants me to do. But there was one problem. It wasn’t Islam’s view of Jesus. It wasn’t even the fact that I would have to throw away every article of clothing I owned and start to wear an entirely different style of dress. The problem was how was I going to get my mother to accept the fact that I was a Muslim? I knew this was not going to be easy. I agonized over the decision, not able to eat, concentrate, or even sleep peacefully. The entire time I agonized I had the same nightmare, that an Angel had my child in her arms and there were devils (Jinn) after her. I spent all night fighting off these awful creatures. They wanted me to stay the way I saw, and the Angel wanted me to become a Muslim. They were fighting over me. I would wake up drenched with sweat and tears, and often bruised with no idea where the bruises came from. One night I was fighting this jinn and it scratched my face. I remember saying, "Oh, no you didn’t! Don’t you know better than to scratch a woman’s face?" and I kicked it. Finally, after a night of fighting (two weeks of this), I woke up out of bed screaming, "Alright I will become a Muslim! I’ll do it today!" I immediately felt the most incredible peace throughout my whole body. I had never felt anything like it before or since. I knew Allah was pleased with me. I went downstairs to the bellboys who had worked so hard to turn me into a Muslim to announce that I was ready to "take the plunge" only to have them tell me "No"! They told me that Islam wasn’t something to be taken lightly. Once you become a Muslim, you are a Muslim for life. Then they said "Oh, what happened to your face?" I looked in the mirror and my face was scratched! I told them of my dreams and that was my first lesson about Jinn. Then they agreed that I should be a Muslim right away, and they took me to Perkim, a Muslim Organisation in Kuala Lumpur for new Muslims. I took my Shahadah on June 15, 1994. I have never looked back since. [sAFIYAH JOHNSON used to work with ISNA. She has recently moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the USA following her marriage on May 29, 1999. PeAcE B UpOn AlL MusLiMz I'm Too Busy I'm Too Busy I'm Too Busy I was too Busy a lil bit 2 late.. WeLL this poem is not mine but it is from 1 of my muslim sister.. I though It B nice 2 share inshallah I hope U like.. Everyday as i wake up at dawn My mind start working the moment i yawn There were many things to do, o dear! That's why i hastily did my Subuh prayer I didn't have the time to sit longer to praise the Lord To me rushing out after prayer is nothing odd... Since school, i had been busy every minute Completing my tutorials and handing it in My ECAs took up most of my time always No time did i have to Allah to pray Too many things to do and zikir is rare For Allah, I really had no time to spare.. When i grew up and started my career Working all day to secure my future When I reached home, I prefered to have fun I chatted on the phone but i didn't read the Quran I spent too much time surfing the Internet Sad to say, my faith was falling flat... The only time i have left is weekends During which i prefer window shopping with friends I couldn't spare time to go to the mosque I'm too busy, that's the BIG EXCUSE... I did my five prayers but did so quickly After prayer, I didn't sit longer to reflect quietly I didn't have time to help the needy ones I was loaded with work as my precious time runs No time at all to visit a sick Muslim friend To orphans and elderly, I hardly lent a hand I'm too busy to do community service When there were gatherings, I helped the least My life was already full of stress So i didn't counsel a Muslim in distress I didn't spend much time with my family B'coz i thought, doing so is a waste of time... No time to share with non-Muslim about Islam Even though I know, inviting causes no harm No time to do Sunnah prayers at all All these contribute to my imaan's fall.. I'm busy here and busy there I've no time at all, that's all i care I went for religious lessons, just once in awhile Coz i'm too busy making a pile... I worked all day and i slept all night Too tired for Tahajjud and it seemed not right To me, earning a living was already tough so i only did basic deeds but that's not enough.. No time at all, to admire God's creation No time to praise All_h and seek His Compassion Although I know how short is my life For Islam, I really didn't strive.. Finally the day comes, when the Lord calls for me And I stood before Him with my Life's History I feel so guilty b'coz i should have prayed more Isn't that what a Muslim lives for? To thank Allah and do more good deeds And the Quran is for us all to read.. Now at Judgement Day, I'm starting to fret I've wasted my life but it's too late to regret My entry to Paradise depend on my good behaviour But i've not done enough nor did proper prayer My "good deed book" is given from my right An angel opened my "book" and read out my plight. Then the angel chided me.... "O You Muslim servant, you are the one, Who is given enough time, yet not much is done Do you know that your faith is loose? saying "no time" is only an excuse. Your "good deed book" should be filled up more with all the good work you stood up for.. Hence, I only recorded those little good deeds As I say this, I know your eyes will mist.. I was about to write some more, you see But i did not have, THE TIME to list"....... THE END.. Wa BiLLaHiToWFiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiQ PeAcE OuT

Salaam alykum The Prophet (SAW) said, "... I looked at Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women." (Al-Bukhari) The Messenger of Allah (SAW) observed: 'O women, you should give charity and ask for much forgiveness for I saw you in bulk amongst the dwellers of Hell. A wise lady among them said: Why is it, Messenger of Allah (SAW) , that our folk is in bulk in Hell? Upon this the Holy Prophet (SAW) observed: You curse too much and are ungrateful to your spouses. I have seen none lacking in common sense and failing in religion but (at the same time) robbing the wisdom of the wise, besides you. Upon this the woman remarked: What is wrong with our common sense and with religion? He (the Holy prophet) observed: Your lack of common sense (can be well judged from the fact) that the evidence of two women is equal to that of one man, that is a proof of the lack of common sense, and you spend some nights (and days) in which you do not offer prayer and in the month of Ramadan (during the days) you do not observe fast, that is a failing in religion. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of AbuTahir with this chain of transmitters. (Muslim) The Prophet (SAW) said, "... I saw the (Hell) Fire, and I have never before, seen such a horrible sight as that, and I saw that the majority of its dwellers were women." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle (SAW)! What is the reason for that?" He replied, "Because of their ungratefulness." It was said. "Do they disbelieve in Allah (are they ungrateful to Allah)?" He replied, "They are not thankful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors done to them. Even if you do good to one of them all your life, when she seems some harshness from you, she will say, "I have never seen any good from you.'" (Al-Bukhari) The Tongue and the Heart The tongue expresses what is in the heart. If a persons heart is good you see it in their saying. If the tongue is used correctly then it has its blessing but if used incorrectly it has its dangers. Allah (SWT) has given us this tool (the tongue) to communicate and it is a blessing form Allah (SWT) which must be used correctly. The gratitude we should show for this great blessing should include, using it for the obedience to Allah (SWT), for reading the Quran (and good Islamic materials), for speaking good, such as, enjoining good and forbidding the evil and in teaching the ignorant, in Dhikr, in worship, in sincere advice to our brothers and sisters and in many other things which enable us to get closer to Allah (SWT). It is true that ONE saying may enter a person into the fire and one saying may save a person from the fire and enter one into paradise. The prohibitions of the tongue are that you do not lie, abuse, use foul language, backbite, and do not slander. The tongue is protected by the teeth and then the lips which should act as a prison when indulging in loose talk. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran: "Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their prayers with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden)." (Al-Mu’minun 23:1-3) Here Allah (SWT) mentions the words "turn away from" not "leave" which shows that, refraining from vain talk is a characteristic of the believers. -------------------------------------------------- Allah (SWT) is Ever Watchful "Verily your Lord is ever watchful (over them)." (Al-Fajr 89:14) Ibn ‘Abbaas (RA) said that "…ever watchful" means that Allah (SWT) hears and sees. Yet, brothers and sisters speak about other Muslims without seeing everything concerning them and without even weighting the severity of that which you say. But Allah (SWT) knows every letter we uttered. On the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA). The Messenger Muhammad (SAW) said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the last day should speak good or keep silent." (Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim) Imam ash-Shaafi’ee (rahimahullah) said, "If you wish to speak then it is upon you to think before you speak. If you think there is good in it then you should speak and if not then do not speak." One searching for salvation against vain talk should ask themselves: Will this saying of mine please Allah (SWT)? Will this saying of mine bring me closer to Allah (SWT)? Does this saying earn with it obedience to Allah (SWT)? If so then speak otherwise on should keep silent. Sahl ibn Sa’ad (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whomever guards what is between his jaws and legs, I will guarantee him paradise." (Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim) This is one of the open paths to paradise. It is calling the people to come to paradise with the guarding of their tongues. On the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that he heard the Messenger (SAW) say: "Indeed a servant may say a word which he doesn’t realize and it will make him fall into the fire further than the East and the West." (Sahih Al-Bukhari (without "further than the East and the West) and Muslim) -------------------------------------------------- Guarding Your Tongue From All Haram Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "The son of Adam wakes up and the whole body makes takfeer (i.e. warns of error) upon his tongue saying, ‘Fear Allah (SWT) concerning us for indeed we are upon you so if you are upright then we will be upright and if you are corrupt then we will be corrupt.’" (Sahih Sunan at-Tirmidhee) On the authority of Mu’adh ibn Jabal, "I said to Allah’s Messenger (SAW): Inform me about an act which would entitle me to enter Paradise, and remove me from Hell-Fire. He (SAW) said: You have asked me about a matter (which ostensibly appears to be) difficult but it is easy to those for whom Allah (SW) has made it easy. Worship Allah (SWT) and do not associate anything with him, establish prayer, pay Zakat, observe the fast of Ramadan and perform Hajj to the (sacred) House (Ka’bah). He again said: Should I not direct you to the gateways of good? Listen to me: The fasting is a shield against evil, the charity extinguishes (the fire of sin) just as water extinguishes fire, the prayer of a person during the middle of the night. Then he recited: ‘Who forsake their beds… (up to) … they used to do.’ Then he said: Should I not direct you to the highest level of this matter, to the pillar on which (it rests) and its top? I said: Allah’s Messenger (SAW) yes, (do tell me). He said: The uppermost level of the matter is al-Islam. Its pillar is the prayer and its top is Jihad. He then said: Should I not inform you of the sheet anchor of all this? I said: Allah’s Apostle (SAW) (of course do it). He took hold of his tongue and said: Exercise restraint on it. I said: Apostle of Allah (SAW), would we be held responsible for what we say with it? Thereupon he said: Mu’adh, may your mother be bereaved. Will anything else besides (irresponsible) talk cause the people to be thrown into the Hell-Fire upon their faces or on their nostrils? (Hasan Sahih Tirmidhee) -------------------------------------------------- Most of the People Who Will Enter the Fire Will Do So Due to Their Tongues So the servant must beware! We could invalidate all our fasting and prayer from just one gathering. There is no success of us unless we learn how to imprison our tongues from vain talk. Allah (SWT) has placed this tongue of ours in a prison, that it does not come out except when there is a need for it. Umm Habiba (RA) reports that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Every saying of the children of Adam is cursed except for enjoining good and forbidding the evil or for the remembrance of Allah." (Hasan Gharib Tirmidhee) Yet you will find ninety percent of the time our tongues are not engaged in this. Rather we choose to continue with our vain talk, joking, laughing, backbiting and slandering. Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) on the authority of Salamn ibn Suhaim on the authority of his mother who heard the Prophet (SAW) say: "A man may be close to paradise such that the distance between him and it is one derah (arm length) and he speaks a word and he becomes distant from it further than San’aa." -------------------------------------------------- Using of the Speech of People Against Each Other, Wishing Thereof Corruption What is the ruling of backbiting and tale carrying from the Quran and the Sunnah and the consensus of the ummah? As regards to the Quran then it is from the saying of Allah (SWT): "O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful." (Al-Hujurat 49:12) As regards to tale carrying then Allah (SWT) says, "Woe to every slanderer and backbiter." (Al-Humazah 104:1) As regards to the Sunnah then it is form the authentic saying of the Prophet (SAW) saying, "The gossip-mongerer will not enter paradise." (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, Ahmad and Daraqutnee) Also there have come upon us many Hadith warning us of backbiting. The situation of the tongue is very dangerous and no one truly submits except a few people. Except a few from the few people who are sincere. It is also very unfortunate that another this topic is not mentioned except a few times. In a gathering when one is backbiting another saying this and that, no one hardly speaks out to say, "O sister fear Allah (SWT), this is backbiting from the major sins." Narrated Hudhaifa (RA): I heard the Prophet (SAW) saying, "A Qattat (a person who conveys disagreeable, false information from one person to another with the intention of causing harm and enmity between them) will not enter Paradise." (Sahih Al-Bukhari) Narrated ibn ‘Abbas (RA): Allah’s Messenger (SAW) passed by two graves and said, "Both of them (persons in the grave) are being tortured, and they are not being tortured for a major sin. This one used not to save himself from being soiled with his urine, and the other used to go about with calumnies (among the people to rouse hostilities, e.g., one goes to a person and tells him that so-an-so says about him such-and-such evil thing)." The Prophet (SAW) then asked for a greed branch of a date-palm tree, split it into two pieces and planted one on each grave and said, "It is hoped that their punishment may be abated till those two pieces of the branch get dried." (Sahih Al-Bukhari) -------------------------------------------------- Some Essential Points So he who finds himself in these gatherings and hears this backbiting and does not speak out against the backbiter nor does he advise him nor does he change the evil then he is as if he is agreeing to it, level by level. So it is obligatory upon a Muslim that if you are present in these gatherings and a person has been mentioned then you should speak out for the honor of your sister and struggle for her and make the speaker be quiet by telling her, "Fear Allah !!! Don’t backbite this Muslim." If you have difficulty then you should go to her and advise her. If she refuses then you should leave her and get up. It is not allowed for you to stay in this gathering where the faults of the people are magnified. If you still find this difficult then you should occupy yourself with the remembrance of Allah (SWT) by glorifying Allah (SWT) such that you do not hear this bad speech. Such that it does not harm you. -------------------------------------------------- Overcoming the Evil Habit of Backbiting How can one overcome this? How can one guard their tongue from backbiting? This is important that one guards oneself from this. First as Imam an-Nawawee said that you should remember the punishment of Allah (SWT). You should remember Allah (SWT) is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. He is the Finder the Superior Force, aware of every saying at every time. He sees and hears every saying at every time. High is Allah (SWT) from imperfection. So if one remembers this then it is natural that they by shy or modest in this aspect. That he speaks a saying which Allah (SWT) is angry with. If any of us become shy towards saying a bad thing towards the creation then how is it for the creator who hears and sees. Allah (SWT) says, "Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it)." (Qaf 50:18) Allah (SWT) says, "O you who believe! Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful." (Al-Hujurat 49:12) Who would like to eat the flesh of anybody? Imagine your sister dies and you cut a piece of flesh and you eat it. So if you hate this then keep away from backbiting for it is the same or worse. ‘Ubayda, the freed slave of the Prophet (SAW) reported that someone came and showed the Prophet (SAW) two women who were fasting and said that they were dying of thirst. The Prophet (SAW) turned away silently refusing to give permission for them to break their fast. So the man begged him again mentioning that the women were on the verge of death. The Prophet (SAW) then said, "Bring them to me and bring along a bowl." When they cam to him, he turned to one and told her to vomit in the bowl. She complied spitting up a mixture of vomit, blood, pus and pieces of flesh which half-filled the bowl. He then turned to the other woman and had her do the same. After the bowl was filled, he said, "Verily, these tow have fasted from what Allah has made Halal for them and broke fast from what Allah has made Haram. They spent their fast eating the flesh of other." (Ahmad and Baihaqi) Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) reported with his chain that Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA) said, "We were with the Messenger of Allah (SAW) when we passed by a bad smell. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Do you know what this smell is? This is the smell of those who backbite each other." By Allah (SWT) we will not survive if we smell this. We would look for a place in the mountains to get away from this. Who is this one who is saved for his own tongue? May Allah (SWT) make us of them. Ameen. One should strive with all that has been mentioned. The other thing that will help guard our tongues is to look at the lives of the pious predecessors (Salaf us Salih). Look at the way of those who were true to Allah (SWT) and try to imitate their way. Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) said, "Be careful from remembering people for it is an illness and be in the remembrance of Allah (SWT) for it is a medicine." -------------------------------------------------- Exceptions to Backbiting There are certain occasions when backbiting is allowed. There are six occasions where the scholars have reminded us about. Other than these occasions then it is forbidden. First Exception to Backbiting - Oppression For example a man has been oppressed. His property and rights have been taken away. Should he go to the people and say that they done this and that to him? NO!!! This is not allowed. As he will backbite the oppressor. Rather he should go to one who is capable of dealing with him such as the judge, ruler or he who has the ability to stop the oppression and return his right to him. Second Exception to Backbiting - Changing the Munkar Help in changing the evil and retune the bad person to righteousness. So if there is evil that one is not able to change then he should go to one to help him with it hence backbite the one who is doing evil. All of these of course with the correct intention seeking the face of Allah (SWT). When changing the evil of the rulers then this should be done by the scholars and not openly as is mentioned by a clear Hadith of the Prophet (SAW), "When you wish to correct the sultan then take him by the hand in secret and advise him." (Aquidah Tahawiyah) Third Exception to Backbiting - Seeking a Fatawa For example a man who has a wife (or a father who has a son or a brother who has another brother) who harms him. She goes to a scholar and asks him for a fatawa. "What is your opinion regarding my wife who does not listen and she leaves the house without my permission?" So here you are talking about her doing bad but here it is permissible but first he should be general like. "What is your opinion about a woman who does not obey her husband, what is your opinion on a woman that does this and that?" This should be first. Fourth Exception to Backbiting - Warning the Muslims From Evil Ibn Daqiqa said, "Backbiting is a drop from one of the drops of Hell-Fire. On its edge are the judges and rulers." Due to them listening to the problems. For example one is going to do business with another man whom you know is not honest so you say to the one wishing to do business with him. "This is not good for you." Here one must be careful not to let his tongue get carried away. Such that he says, "Oh he is this and that…" NO! Rather he should stop at, "Its not good for you to go into business with him." So you try to keep that person away by saying general statements like that which are allowed. If you see a person going to an innovator and you fear for this person then you can warn him but warn him by wishing the face of Allah (SWT) and for the benefit of this brother or sister. As regards to speaking about this innovator or sinner by bringing down his honor then this is not allowed. This is Haram. There are many people who in the name of advice pull down the honor of the sinners and innovators. Fifth Exception to Backbiting - Advising Those Away From the Innovators & Sinners Openly declare the open actions of such and such person to give advice but as regards to his secret actions then it is not allowed to declare them. You backbite that which he openly did. Sixth Exception to Backbiting - Enquiring That a person is blind or deaf or limping but this has a sin. Here it is allowed with the good intention knowing who this perinea is. But most not be with the intention of putting the person down. -------------------------------------------------- Another Important Point to Earn a Great Reward Abud Darda (RA) said, "Whoever protects the honor of his brother then Allah (SWT) will protect his face from the fire on the Day of Judgment." The meaning of this is that he who does not refute for the honor of his brother then Allah (SWT) will not keep the fire away from his face. Jabir ibn Abdullah and Abi Ttalha (RA) that he said the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "No (Muslim) man will desert a man who is a Muslim in a place where his respect may be violated and his honor aspered without Allah deserting him in a place where he wishes help; and no (Muslims) man who will help a Muslim in a place where his honor may be aspered and his respect violated without Allah helping him in a place where he wishes His help." "Whoever protects he honor of his bother in his absence, Allah will protect his face from the Fire on the Day of Judgment." (Hasan Tirmidhee) "The believer is a mirror to a believer. The believer is a brother to a believer. Guarding him against loss and protecting him in his absence." Peace B upon All muslimz DA Muslim Woman ^Unveiled^ U look at me and call me oppressed, Simply because of the way I'm dressed, U know me not for what's inside, U judge the clothing I wear with pride, My body's not for U eyes 2 hold, U must speak 2 my mind, not my feminine mold, I'm an individual, I'm no mans slave , It's Allahs pleasure that I only crave, I have a voice so I will be heard, For in my heart I carry His word, " O ye women, wrap close your cloak, So U won't be bothered by ignorant folk", Man doesn't tell me 2 dress this way, It's a Law from God that I obey, Oppressed is something I'm truly NOT, For liberation is what I've got, It was given 2 me many years ago, With the right 2 prosper, the right 2 grow, I can climb moutains or cross the seas, Expand my mind in all degrees, For God Himself gave us LIB-ER-TY, When He sent Islam, 2 U and Me! ((Never forget who U R A MUSLIMAAH))) Wa BiLLahiToWFiiiiiQ PeAcE OuT

Peace B upon All YaLL Allah (SWT) said, "And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like palms of hands or one eye or both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over their Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms, etc)..." (An-Nur 24:31) The hijab fits the sound innate and natural fitrah and feeling of women and men which call for haya and gheerah. Haya is restraint or bashfulness and it is a part of one's faith to show haya and demand it from those who are his responsibility. The Prophet (SAW) said, "Haya is part of iman." (Bukhari) -- The Hijab is a Symbol of Islam N when is it OK 2 go 2 club like Gaal do when U muslim?? for the Prophet (SAW) said, "Whoever resembles a people becomes on of them." (((Salaam alykum)))) Imagine yourself after you pass away  Imagine your grave through night and through day Wishing that you did not do as they say Wishing that you had got up and had prayed. Imagine, my friends, the day that you died Imagine all of the tears that they cried Remember how it felt when your body was tied Remember how it felt in the grave in which you lied. Imagine the day you'll be called to account Imagine the sum to which your life will amount Think for a moment of the deeds which you mount Think for a moment how much they will count. What will they say of you when you are dead? What will they say, what will be said? Will they speak of all the poor who you fed? Will they remember all the Qur’an that you read? Think not of them, but of Allah, Lord of mankind and jinn Think of Allah when tempted to sin Think of the paradise which you will dwell in Don't wait till later to think what might have been.
