Currency markets are pretty riskY and can turn one's moral values upside down. A Pakistani freind of mine trades heavilly in Cuerrency Futures, the money he can make is mind boggling but saying that he behaves like a gambler and sometimes is behind the screens for hours on end. We asked few scholers whethear is actually halal trading on the Future happenings in markets and most seem to agree is fine. Am still not convinced is morally right and not much different to say putting a bet on the outcome of a footbal match. Yes i am still undecided on who will win the world cup. But i have a more important indecision with regard to my work, so lets see if SOLers can help me decide. I been offered an opportunity thats too good to turn down, is the perfect role for me, but here's the catch is only a two-year contract and further contract will be subject to funding. Currently am in a very secure job but the department offers very little promotion opportunities but at least is permenant. So do you guys think i should quit and take my chances elsewhere or stay till a more secure oportunity arises. ?????

How frustrating watching the Africans. their system is all too similar, strong in the middle with players who can hold and pass the ball effectively but they lack imagination in the final quarter of the pitch. I wonder if an organised group exists in the UK that moniters the media and how they report Somali issues. Over the cause of the past year Somalis in UK have featured in the media greatly and more often than suich coverage has been negative. I know of individuals whom have taken upon themselves to write to editors and voice their objections, in particular the case of the Donkeys, which resulted in an official opology from the Mail. We need an official media watch team that will moniter all the media and respond to any misreprenrtation. Only yesterday the Sun run an innocent looking peice from Bosaaso port and they indicated a hint of connection between crime in UK and these refugees. So why not SOLers organise amongst themselves and skim through all the major print media. Maybe each person can take one paper. I claim the Metro.
