Norf i don't think u have a leg to stand on this argument. The very same people that build their political career on the Ethopian Army Occopation argument and are now implying a return of those Xabashis is acceptable because they are better than the Shabaabs. The irony is if they, Ethopia or any foreign forces, inter Somalia it will justify the existance of the Shabaabs etc and further create another Oppisition group that will build their Political career to free Somalia once again. Supporters of the current TFG ( of which i am one ) need to come up with a different solution to this problem that will make sure the blood of the Somali people is spared. If the TFG continues on its current rhetotic of fighting back and ridding Somalia of Shabaabs then they are dreaming.

One cannot compare the Tamils to Shabaas etc, if anything the Tamils are more comparable to Somaliland and to lesser extend Puntland ( as ME has pointed out). And for your info this Sri Lankan government victory has cost thousands of lives and the distruction is unmeasurable which will only lead to more hatred from the Tamils and their struggle will no doupt continue.

Kashafa ( i don't even know what that means ) lets put the name issue to a side as i do not call myself that in the streets of wherever i maybe nor are u known Kashafa outside of this site ( or maybe u are Allahu waclum ). The Islamic courts were a blessing to us but in all honesty it was partly distroyed but gun-ho individuals who got excited and threatened the whole world when they knew perfectly well they could not denfend themselves against the enemy but nevertherles the Muqawamiin was put together and that invasion was resisted. But the situation is somewhat diferent today and there are other means to make sure that an Islamic can be stablished without resorting to the gun.

A name is a name sxb and if that is your level of thinking then perharps one is talking to a ciyaal who lacks the basic capicity to think. The situation is not black & white as u deem it, there is no right or wrong here but a difference of approaches on how tackle the situation that is Somalia. Any monkey can forsee the ending result if the Shabaabs take over, more invasion and more suffering, so why give our enemy the excuse to invade us again.

Pateince for what i wonder. The people had the stomach for war while the Ethopians were there and overjoyed when they left, now the Shabaabs and their cohorts are sturring up uncessesary war that cost, and no doupt many more, thelives of the innocent Somalis, the Shabaabs have no support and the current political situation with a favourable President is the best chance to get Somalia moving again while still having the freedom to practice out faith as we see fit. Whats the purpose of overthrowing the Shariif government as America & co. will no doupt come to attack if the Shabaabs take over and then what , the cycle begins again .. and the suffering will continue.

ME if it was a choice of the current TFG v Shabaabs , i think the TFG as it is will suit the Somali people better right now and that Freedom bus u mention well there is more chance of catching it via the TFG then the Shabaabs.

could it be that DR Ilamaan was misquates here. I think hr is basically saying that they are fighting the doctrine and system of this govemernment and not Shariif as an indivual , hence he is saying that even if he resigns the fight will continue against this government. Notice how the article deliberetly mis-quated him.

JB is already making himself believe that Somaliland is in effect a seperate entity .. is still belongs to the map of Somalia till its officially granted its wish, so stop claiming it to be a seperate country.

in reality the two are well connected, thats why pro-Somalilander articles are constanty uisng the troubles in the South as reason why they should be recongnised. A peacefull, stable Somalia would make the case for inderpendence rather difficult.
