  1. Viking Bro Sorry bro, I missed the point that she said (he asked them To Dictate), bust still the pen and paper detail is a Shia thing, Anyway, I mistakenly assumed that she meant that he wanted to write, so let us lay this confusion to the side. What amazes me though is how zealous you are in coming to the aid of any shia or shia-would-be, and never speak for common sense when presented by a non Shia like me, and yet claim to be searching knowledge. I have yet to see a note of yours saying " Nur has a point here "! but never did I ever read that. In this thread I went out of my way to present ONLY Shia materials from Shia books and Sheikhs, but unfortunately, you stick to what I have shown you to be a clear fraud. How can you believe scholars who would write in their most reliable books Hadeeths like this: It was reported by the Amir ul Mumineen ( Ali) Aleyhi Salaam that Afeer ( Cafiir) the donkey of the prophet SAWS said to the Messenger of Allah SAWS " Oh Messenger of Allah My father had narrated to me that my grand father narrated to him that his great grand father told him that that he was in the arch with Prophet Noah, then Noah petted his back and said to him that " this donkey will have a grandson who will be tghe donkey of the Sayyid of all prophets and the last, so Praise to Allah who made me that Donkey" Source Usuul Al KAAFI, Volume 1 page 237. I know that the mere fact of posting this Shia Hadeeth from their most followed book makes you nausiated, but face it brother, their books are full of similar legends, now tell me you dont believe Bukhaari, but you believe Kuleiny? Nur
  2. Sayfullah Al Maslul Welcome to the forum, I assume that you are speaking for the sister to help her, but you were very picky, why you did not respond to Ali's speech in Nahjul Balaagah?. Talk about mockery, its interesting that you did not notice what she said about her family members adopting wahaabism and following BLINDLY and not asking questions. If you have to pint at mistakes on this forum, at least be fair, viewers will respect you for that, otherwise, you are not going to be part of a solution, just the problem. As you have seen I have posted this thread and I expected that you read the entire article and respond on the following: 1. The Origin of The Shia 2. The Shia imaams significance 3. The Shia beliefs and worship 4. The Shia and the Quraan 5. The Shia and the concept of Bidaa 6. the Shia and the Concept of Rajcah 7. The Shia and the Saxaabah 8. The Shia and the Muta marriage including the " Icaaratul Farj marriage" supported by even current Shia Marjaciyyah, Ayatullah Sistani in Iraq. 9. The Shia and Concept of Ghaybah Al sughraa, and Ghaybah Al Kubraa by the Missing 5 year old imaam Askari and the volume of religion he transmitted during his 65 year absence through his followers to the knowledge body of the current Shia. Waiting for your response Nur
  3. Rahiima sis Could you follow up on this topic, more of your thoughts would be appreciated, may an idea conceived in this thread might energise a Nomad or two to start up a school somewhere and you end up with the ajar inshAllah. Nur
  4. Northerner and Raxmah Thanks for your comments, we do indeed need to remind ourselves of the real factors that effect our attitude and welbeing, real happiness can only be attained through the rememberance of Allah SWT, his obedience and love. Nur
  5. Sakina sis You Keep saying that your questions were not answered by Sunnis and Shia, so today i am going to answer your questions, I also have some questions for you, and I am kindly asking you to answer them if you would. you write: " From my own research I came to the conclusion that some of our history is very dark as the shias claim and we have to face it and find an answer for it " Answer: Please tell us about the sources of your research that helped you find out about the Dark Side of Sunnis and the Kufr of Abu Bakar, Omar, Othman and all the Sahaabah as the Shia claim? Was Abu Bakar so careless at the end of his life to pull a trick like that while the Prophet was still not burried like the Shia say? what would be his drivers? you cant say he loved money, or Power ( read his speech below)? Your Write: " I am going to ask you some questions that some shias posed to me and after doing my research and with my limited knowledge unfortunately I came to the conclusion they are pretty accurate . " Answer: Sister how can you verify the Shia claims in order to reach a solid concllusion that they are PRETTY ACCURATE if as you say YOU HAVE VERY LIMITED KNOWLEDGE, Can you explain this contradiction please? You ask. " you can give me answers from our books such us Bukhari and Muslim and please I do not want to know what Ibn Tamiyya's opinion is we all know that." Answer: Sister, Bukhari was a Hadeeth Collector, authenticator, and compiler, not a Historian, but if you are a researcher why are you refusing to accept Ibn Taimyya's account, dont you know that he was one of the major architects of the very term Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamaach which you say you belong to? or in case you don't believe in him at all, please show us from his writings where he went wrong, that is the least you can do as a researcher and it is amaanah. So, how did you come to accept the Shia sources that are neither Muslim nor Bukhaari, since you only accept thoses sources, or are you suggesting that the only reliable sources are Kuleiny, Majlisi, and Khomeiny who are your Sheikhs?. You ask " 1) What happened in "The dark Thursday" when our beloved Prophet (s.w.w) asked for pen and paper so he could dictate us something that would not divide us and Omar said that the Prophet (s.w.w.) was delirious do not give him anything (Hint look in Sahih Muslim )" Answer: Sister, I couldn't agree with you more here, it was indeed a Dark Thursday , a concocted story created by the followers of a baby imaam who got lost falling in a ditch at age four, and for the next 65 years, three men were transmitting his teachings and revelations to the Shia faithful behind the Sirdaab, one of these stories being the Dark thursday which you believe in, I have never seen someone claiming to be Sunnah wal jamaaca believe in such a mockery of the faith. By adding a little of the Saxix Muslim with a bunch of fallacies from the Shia to create a case that teh Imaamah was stolen from Ali and ignoring the rich History of the companions and their legends is jumping the gun on the wrong target, The funny thing is that you even you believe that the Prophet asked for a pen and paper as if he has done it anytime in his lifetime! remember he was the illitrate prophet ? his miracle! when you belive in a lie, make sure it is consistent before you pose it to us, if you are a good researcher! You ask: " 2) What happend in Saqifa? Who was present there and how was the first Khalifa chosen ?" Answer: It is a rather long story, the gist of it was that the Ansar and Muhajirs disputed in the leadership of the Muslims, while Ali, Zubeir and Talha took a neutral position by not attending and staying in Fatimas house. Omar was told that the Ansaar were meeting in Saqiifa bani Sacida to elect Ubadah Ibn Samit who was ill and shivering covered up and sick, so, Omar so that there was many novice Muslims ( like me and you) who also want to have their say along with the veteran Companions like Abu Bakar and Umar. So, he was advised to move the convention to madina where the ansars requested to have a representative from them and a representative from the Muhajirs elected, however, Umar was quick to dispel this motion by simply puting his hand in Abu Bakar's hand and voting for Abu Bakar as the Amir of the believers, immediately all the Ansars and Muhajirs followed and the matter was concluded without any discord. From the Shia's most reliable book, Nahjul Balaagha, here is what the Shia say Ali said: " I was elected by the same people who have elected Abu bakar, Omar and Othman whith the same mandate as theirs, so neither does a present person has a right to elect nor an absent person have the right to reject (as the same committee elected me with the same mandate), because the Shuraa consultative election is for the Muhaajirs and the Ansaar, and they have unanimously elected a man and they named him an IMAAM, an action that pelased Allah SWT, so in case a person dissents their choice by a slander, or introduces a Bidcah, (innovation ) bring him back to his sense, if he refuses, fight him for his (crime) of following a different path than that of the believers" source ; Nahjul Balaagha, Volume 3, page 7 . You Ask: 3) Why Fatima bint Rasulullah was angry at the Khalifa and his supporters till the time she passed away? Answer: Fatima may Allah be pleased with her was upset with Abu Bakar because a dispute of the inheritance of the Prophets property, according to the Hadeeth (saxix) the Prophet SAWS said, " Naxnu macsharal Anbiyaa, laa nuwarrith " ( we the Prophets, are not to be inherited (possessions belong to the ummah ) but, the Aalal beit are supported by the public treasury which all the khulafa adgered to. You ask. 4) Who was at the head of the first civil war between the muslim ummah the war of Jamal and who was at the head of that war ? Answer: Now, I can sense that all of your questions are from the Shia sources, dont tell me you are not a Shia sis. We all know it was the Mother of believers in that Fitna, and she was on the wrong side of that dispute but unlike you, who preach thinking well of Muslims when it suits you, we the ahlul Sunnah think very highly about Aisha, we sya that she genuinely believed that she was on the right side, but she was not according to the Hadeeth of barking dogs, I hope that does not make you very angry, but we stop there as a respect to the mother of Believers which the Shia are quick to defame her as a demon, a virtuous woman the Prophet SAWS died in her lap and about whom the prophet SAWS told us, " take half our deen from this Xumeiraa ", so like the Shia we, The Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamaacah do not have INFALLIBLE people if you are suggesting that Fatima was Infallible and Aisha was not. You ask: 5) How many times Abu Bakr fainted in his deathbed and yet he was allowed to write his will and was not called delirious ? Answer: I really did not count that, are you suggesting that anyone called the Prophet SAWS was delirious? please post the Muslim Hadeeth you are talking about, I cant take it for mere face value, this is serious business. You ask: I have many more question but for now Insha Allah I'll wait for the reply for these ones. I am seriously trying to find the truth . Answer: After asking me the toughest questions a Shia person can pose and asking cosmetic questions to Mutakallim, just to seem neutral, you claim to be looking for the truth, well sister, if indeed you are after the truth, read my post and tell me if you believe if the modern day Shia religion is like ours. You ask: " Some of my family members decided to follow the Wahhabi/Salafi sect and they are not allowed to ask questions only blind following of the sect." Answer: Is this a subliminal message to say you have an open mind and that you are on your way to convert to Shiism, so that you encourage other viewers to also follow your open mind example? let us see how open minded you are, do you by believe in the Muta marriage of the Shia? if yes have you ever practiced it? You pray: May Allah guide us all to the right path. I say: Amiin
  6. Nomads If you are a science fiction afficionado, I believe that you are going to enjoy this series of episodes I wrote to influence the content of Somalinet few years ago, the reviews were great and the feedback I got encouraged me to write up to four episodes, the first one was said to be funny, but I leave it for you to judge, the subliminal message was speading peace on earth and Islam. Nur. Planet Somalinet Space Ship Dhoodaan's Qabaal Characters: Guure: Mission Specialist Xiddigow: Intergallactic Location Mapper Shankarroon: Manned Unit Lander pilot ( or in her case womanned Unit Lander) Nur: On Board Businessman. Nur: Assalamu Calaykum Xiiddigow, where are we? Xiddigow: What reference frame are you interested in, and what domain? Nur: Just give me the spherical coordinates time domain calculation with respect to M2308 Cluster Xiddigow: We are fast approaching the M2308 radially, we should be there in three ITU (Intergalactic Time units.) Nur: Mr. Guure are you there? Xiddigow is telling me that we should be landing very soon on the edge of the cluster, is the space hub well suited for landing? Guure: Let me make contact with Shankarroon, I will be back Guure: Shankarroon, This is the Dhoodaan's Qabaal Mission Specialist, do you copy? Shankarron: Yes sir, I have just managed to land on a strange world called WWW Guure: I will connect Mr. Nur, he has few questions for you, hang on if you do not mind Shankarroon: Go ahead, I am copying. Nur: Hi Shankarroon, what is the WWW? Shankarroon: It is the Wide World of Wareer and Waalli Nur: What is the local date in that world? Shankarroon: The hegira is 1419 and the Gregorian is 2000 Nur: How safe is it, can I land there, I have a mission to deliver some NURTEL products , but I am afraid the locals may not understand my mission. When I am done I want to add another W, Wide World of Wanaag. Shankarroon: The Web as they call it over here is a one stop shop of anything imaginable, the decency standards are the lowest a human can bare, even some sites are worst than animals, some sites are great for their learning opportunities, some for the business and innocent entertainment, but they are all mixed up. Let me zoom in a bit with my MUL ( Manned Unit Lander), right now I can see a small planet named Planet Somalinet. Nur: That is the right planet, more info please, Shankarroon: There is a Islam landing site, would you like to land there? Nur: Yes indeed, I am fixing to land, do you see any creatures? Shankarroon: I see a creature called MAD MAC he has logged over a thousand messages. Nur: Is he really Mad? Shankarroon: Not really, he sells a product called ( LHNP) Life Has No Purpose, and amazingly, he has customers. Nur: You mean if I open shop next door to him with my Nurtel business I can command a respectable market share? Shankarroon: That is the report I am getting from our virtual data analyzer, but you have to be patient, creatures on this site are wild, ever since you flew to space with your Dhoodaan Qabaal spaceship in 1969 to match the Apollo 11 Moon landing feat for Somali Peoples Pride, Somalia as you have known it, has disintegrated to tribal factions when a tribal based civil war broke out, now the inhabitants of this virtual planet who are the remnants and the second generation of the Dhoodaan Qabaal Pilots, are very wild, so better be careful, the first thing they will ask you will be your Qabiil, so be careful in your answers. Nur: I have two tribes from each side of my parents, eight from my grandparents and my origins get complicated geometrically after that, which one should I tell them? Shankarroon: Tell them at least your lineage of the three main warring clans, let them guess the sequence, which one you are, some really sick creatures on this site will accuse you of being one clan, so ignore them, times have changed, these creatures ( SBS)Somalibigotsaurs, are roaming the site and have grown so big they have scared all other decent life forms, your products initially may not have customers, but if you stick to your guns you have a great chance, but again, you have a big job ahead of you. Nur: How about the moral standard of these creatures? Shankarroon: The lowest, their language is mostly four letters, associated with the procreation anatomy. Nur: I am ready to land, Shankarroon, this will be exciting. Shankarroon: May Allah Bless you Nur Nur: one last question sister, why did your parents name you Shankarroon? Shankarroon: I was the only girl in the family, and to my parents, I was the kindest I enjoy helping my parents and I dedicated my life to make them happy, ( Baarriyad baan ahay) as a result my life is success after success, by the way , my birth name was Shuun. Nur: that name can confuse some Somalibigotsaurs, talk to you later sis. The space journey will continue with episode 2, do not miss. NURTEL Communications Powering your imagination Dhoodaan's Qabaal Space Mission continued. Nur: Shankarroon, this place is horrible, there is very little intelligent life on this forum, beam me up, would you. Shankarroon: Sorry Nur, the orbiter will not come around for another 3 years, till March 25 2003. Nur: No, No, I can't stand this nonsense for another three years, do something Shankarroon. Shankarroon: My Husband, the Mission Specialist aboard Dhoodaan Orbiter is on line. Nur: Captain Guure, You should've told me this before I landed, it was not my idea to test the water with both feet. Captain Guure: Calm down, Nur , you are on a noble mission, your products are superior and the rewards are unlimited. You are selling tolerance, kindness to parents, peace and belief in Allah, be firm. Nur: Captain Guure, you have a point, but it looks like I will compromise my self esteem being here. Captain Guure: Think with the end in mind, obstacles are only increasing your reward. What you have is a gift, you must share it. Nur: You mean everything Allah provided me with has a purpose? Captain Guure: Yes, they are called FADL, and you either use it for a credit or loose it altogether, so it is wise to protect the goodness you value with gratefulness, appreciation and sharing, Allah will even give you more of what you value like a firm belief (iimaan) and the Love of Allah. Nur: That is correct Captain, Allah says " And seek the next life with all things Allah has given you", you really make sense Captain, mahadsanid. Xiddigow: Captain, we are fast approaching a dense dust cloud, change the course toward constellation Massagowaa. Captain Guure: My coordinates show we are heading toward the Bur Ciideed and Riig Oomane Quasars with a relativistic speed of 64000 nautical miles per hour. Xiddigow: That is the navigation course heading toward the dust cloud, a 28 Mile radius cloud. Nur: How is that going to affect your return date guys? this planet is scary. Captain Guure: Non whatsoever relative to your coordinates. Nur: Where is Shankarroon? Shankarron: I am programming the navigation system with the new parameters, what can I do for you Nur? Nur: Please make Ducaa for me sister, I see you as a devout person. Shankarroon: You bet, my Husband, Captain Guure and I , will always make Ducaa for you Captain Guure: Now that you have accepted to stay behind three years, I ha ve some good news. Nur: What is it Captain? Captain Guure: We are experimenting with a new time capsule, if you want to try it, it will take you back in time to early Mecca circa sixth century, would you like to try it? Nur: Definitely, I can't wait, I cant' wait to see the beloved Saxaabah, I have only seen them in my dreams. Captain Guure: Please wait our signaling for the next three days, you will be picked up by the time capsule and You can still communicate with your present WWW World and Somalinet Planet via special Trans-time hook up, so you can relay your experiences back and forth to the new world and vice versa, see you in 72 hours. Nuur: Maca Salaama Captain. End of episode 2 The Dhoodaan Qabaal Space Odyssey will continue NURTEL Communications Extending Your Imagination Episode 3 Dhoodaan,s Qabaal Spaceship Odyssey contiued.... Captain Guure: Nur, The Capsule is dispatched, do you see it? Nur: yes Captain, I see a hovercraft suspended halfway between Mijiyahan and Garasbaalley. Captain Guure: that is the craft, use your wrist controller to communicate. Nur: How Captain Guure: Find the attached file on your wrist contrller, follow the directions Nur: Thanks Captain, I am comminicating, and the craft is responding. Captain Guure: I will leave Xiddigow to guide you for setting up the navigation parameters. Xiddigow: Hello Nur, I am here to help you operate the Time Capsule, let me know of your parameters. Nur: I am sending a coded signal encripted with a time domain equation and its boundary conditions, describing my instantaneous parameters relative to a mutual common reference frame, do you copy? Xiddigow: Thanks I got it, resend the signal again, , my analyzer rejects Garasbaalley as a valid data point. Nur: I am resending it, but with the closest data point in the data base, please check, will it accept Calayaale? Xiddigow: That is good , the analyzer is alerting me that there is strong radiation signals emanating form Mijiiyahan near Bossaaso, do you have an explanation for that glitch. Nur: Yes Sir, Mijiyahan Town is on top of large Uranium deposit, is it interfering with the signaling? Xiddigow: it was for a second, But I've just compensated it with a dummy function, it should work now, InshaAllah. Nur: The Time Capsule has arrived, within 50 meters, that is impressive, now I am well placed in the capsule, I have pretty much followed the instructions and everything checked out green, meaning ready for Time flight, do you copy? Xiddigow: You destination time ? Nur: Let us try the year 577 AD Xiddigow: What is so special about that date? Nur: I want to join the Migration of the prophet SAWS from Makka to Madina, I know Traveling with the prophet is not an easy trip for the common man, but I love the prophet SAWS, I want to hug him, and cry, then relay back to the Planet Somalinet the prophets advice and message. Xiddigow: You are right, That is dangerous, but it is your choice pal, are you prepared accompanying him in his Hegira trip, according to our records, there is only one man who braved this trip, and zooming on the year 577 year, they are now both holed up in a cave called Hiraa waiting for a guide to show them the road to Yathrib. Xiddigow: I am sending the code, make sure that you are very careful in keying in the numbers right, the system has zero error tolerance margin, it will execute the command and I have no authority in resetting the parameters, so be very careful. Nur: Bismillaah, I have just completed the keying in of the parameters, and have recheked it twice, I am ready to fly. Xiddigow: Tawakkal calaAlaah, Nur Nur: Back to you I have taken off, 8f6gf9nbf87f-0-gfn m76 fjfds5es dfo8. 5964yhd95 %4 9 8784unnkf 947 ( Code for " Subxaanaladee Sakhara lanaa haadihi wa ma kunnaa lahu bi muqriniin" " Allahummma innaa nasaluka fii safarinaa haadaa, al birraa wat taqwaa, wa minal camali maa tardaa, Allahumma hawin caleynaa safaranaa haadaa wa adwi canna bucdah, Allahumma anta as Saaxibu fis safar wal khaliifatu fil ahl, Allahumma innaa nacuudu bika min wacthaa i safar, w ka'aabatil mandhar, wa suu'ul munqalab fil maali wal ahl" Time traveller Nur is now traveling through time, he is heading toward the year 577, the year of the flight of Prophet Muhammad SAWS from Makka to madina. Please join us in his maiden arrival in Yathrib, circa 577, given the Time Capsule works well and the crew in Dhoodaan's Qabaal Spaceship mointor the time travel path relaying back to the Wide World of Wanaag and the Planet Somalinet details of Nur's jouney. Don' go away, we will be right back inshAllah. End of Episode 3 , to continue. 2003 NURTEL Communications Propelling you forward to Wanaag World Episode 4 Dhoodan's Qabaal Spaceship Jouney Coninued Nur is in the time capsule, he has landed in a non familiar site and unexpected time slot in history according to his instruments, Nur is very worried, peeking out of the window, all the Time traveler businessman sees is lush green landscape contrary to the stark desert of Arabia he expected to land, and its the hilly barren mountains of Mekka and vicinities near the Red Sea, and The Hijaaz mountain strip along the Red sea. Nur: Captain Guure, This is Nur , do you copy? Captain Guure: Yes Nur, You must have entered the wrong parameters , your time capsule is reporting error date and location Nur: What do you mean with error date and location? Captain Guure: It means that you may be in a prehistoric time, look around do you see any Somali Tribal bigots? Nur: No I do not see any human, should I walk out of the capsule to look for humans Captain Guure: Be careful, if prehistoric people like Somali Bigots and Somali Anarchists get a hold of your Time capsule, they will sell your ship as scrap in Dubai for the metal content, they have no idea the sophistication of the advanced instruments, and as a result you will evaporate with them for ever, be careful when dealing with these creatures if you ever come in contact with them. Nur: Thanks Captain, I will make sure to step out and be careful, I will read my Adhkaar and inshAllah I will be safe. Bismillah, Tawakaltu Calaallah, wa laa xawla walaa quwata illaa billah. Captain Guure: That is good Nur, The angels will say " Kufiita wa hudiita ( You are covered pal, and guided) Nur: Captain, I can see from this hill a huge boat-like looking structure being swarmed by builders, where in time am I? Captain Guure: Oh , yaa Allaah, Nur, you are far out in time, that may be Noah's ark, I do not know how we can bring you back in time to the past, how complete does the boat look like? Nur: It looks 97 percent complete, I will read the Quraan to see what will happen next, then I will go join prophet Noah's boat, like a war jounalist I shall report to you about this historical event, I can't wait to see the animals boarding this boat without attacking each other, a great lesson I can relay back to the Somali Tribal Bigots. Captain Guure: fii amaanillah my prayers for your success. May Allah be with you. In the next episode, Nur will be going down the hill and will be going down to the village to see the huge boat under construction and tour the local town, the people of Noah have one thing in common with Somalinet General Discusions viewers of the secular persuation, they would rather close their eyes like Basra said before and not read Nur's posts, and would wear ear muffs in order not to hear good advice. Prophet Noah and Nur have few things in common, thing in common, They want to save their people, most of their people would not accept to come on board of the ship, Noah's ark and Nur's NURTEL Comminications. Prophet Noah has more patience than Nur, more resilience , Nur wants to learn great lessons form Noah in order to help people in the next episode. The next episode will be very interesting, bring a chair and enjoy reading with your family. Nur Posts are family friendly. 2001-2 NURTEL Communications Reaching and Teaching, one Somali at a time

  8. Nomads Its that time of year again, back to school season, the fun and vacations are over for most Nomads, as registration for classes begins, and the business season takes off with trade conventions for businessmen. Therefore, it is a good time to prepare for good results by planning well ahead of time. Likewise, Ramadan is around the corner, 45 days away, so we need to look at our calendars ahead of time and see how the best days of ramadan are corresponding to our schedules, exams or business meetings and engagements. So, share with us your seasonal resolution in case your grades did not shine last year, or in case your worship suffered due to poor aliagnment of your personal commitments with your spiritual requirements. 9. Bilaal Bro. Brother, I read these verses many times over, referred to the earliest interpretations available ( Al Tabari), but I could not find the faintest suggestion of the idea of hiding behind a mask. It is the first time I have ever heard such a version, could you please enlighten me of your sources?. Bismillah wa bihi astaciin. The story of Habil and Qabil as you've noted has many lessons to be learned that are valid to this day, before we expound on their significance in detail, let us go back to analyze historical developments that led to all sins being committed on earth throughtout the ages. The first recorded sin ever commmitted by any creature was driven by Pride and Envy , these double headed sins took place when double horned Satan, an envious creature of man's place in the eyes of Allah SWT, refused to obey Allah SWT by bowing down to Adam as ordered by Allah SWT in recognition of Adam's higher position in the hierarchy of Allah's creations. It may also help to go back to visit the second sin driven by Desire of Glory that was committed by Adam aleyhi Salam and his wife Eve ( Hawwaa)in Jannah. The eating of the forbidden fruit. If you carefully read on that story you'd get the idea that the tree in Jannah represented all evil that humans will commit on earth, bundled in that fruit, literally in an nutshel. So, here you have two people created in heaven given all the goodness they can imagine, elevated to the highest levels of dignity compared to all the creatures inclduing the angels, and asked to observe a single commandment to STAY AWAY FROM THAT TREE , and yet, Adam and Eve fall from grace and go against the wish of their maker, thereby lowering themselves to a lower level, the level of a sinner, to suffer shame and regret and to cause themselves and their progeny to be sent to probationary period on earth to win back what they had for granted. So, when Allah elevated man to the highest place in His dominion, One of His creatures became very envious of man's higher position and dignity, Satan vowed to influence man and bring him down. So Satan in his special ways influenced man and gave him an edict ( Fatwaa) that the reason that this tree was forbidden to them was to keep them away from winning an everlasting glory. After Adam and Eve ate from that tree, they found the oppsite, nakedness, shame and regret and a feeling of subduedness, just contrary for what they have bargained for. This, efect of the lure of Satan and the subsequent feeling of regret is the essence of the struggle of man on earth to purify himself and elevate himself to his rightful place as the most dignified creature of Allah by simply surrendering to Allah SWT. Satan, after committing his sin that was driven by Pride and Envy , failed to repent, thus missing the opportunity to make up for Allah SWT and fall in line with the rest of His creatures in obedience, But Adam who committed a Desire driven sin, regretted and their regret led them to repent and surrender their will to Allah SWT again hoping to win back their lost paradise. For the above reason, the sin of Pride is the greatest sin as it led Satan astray, and made him unrepentent forever, That repentence represented a valuable lesson, that no matter how disgracefiul a sin we commit, Allah is always willing to take us back if we humble ourselves, admit our mistakes and resolve not to go back to it, albeit with a price. To accept their repentence, Adam and Eve, and their progeny had to meet the following guidleines: 1. You are to serve a jail term on planet earth, you will live their for a while, the tree that you ate in Paradise, is found on earth in the form of many temptations, of wealth, desires, pride, envy and rebellion against the will of Allah SWT , so beware of these sins lest you fall from grace like your parents. 2. You have Satan as your enemy, who has access to your inner source files where your decision making process resides. So, take him as an enemy by drawing close to Allah SWT and protect yourselves from him through the rememberance of Allah and the day of Judgement (dhiker). 3. To stay in the right course and not to succumb again to Satan's temptations, You will hear from Allah through Messnegers of your kind who will show you the way to worship me inorder not to fall in the traps of Satan, your enemy again. 4. Life on earth is a probation period for mankind, a period of redemption and worship, a period of showing that you indeed believe in Allah and His Messengers, and are willing to sacrifice your earthily pleasures to win back your Lost Paradise. 5. Your salvation is in following Allah's commandments, Do not Kill being an important message in this story. As Adam and Eve dwelled on earth and started a family, the promised test and our human struggle beagn in earnest, to test our conviction and actions driven by conflicting motivations from Allah and Satan, our arch enemy. Each of Cain and his brother Abel were born with a twin sister, Allah's decree was that each twin can only marry from the other pair, to keep genetic distant apart. Cain's twin sister was prettier than Abel's twin sister, so, Satan again whispered into Cain's ears, " hey, you shouldn't allow Abel to marry your twin sister, you are the rightful spouse for her, after all she is your own twin " just like he whispered to his father and mother before, and just as he is doing it to Somalia and the world at large at present. Cain, gave in to Satan's temptation, against Allah's covenant, and rejected the Devine order insisting that he will marry his twin sister. Abel and Cain asked arbitration from their father Prophet Adam who ruled that they should both offer a sacrifice to Allah SWT, and depending on whose sacrifice is accepted by Allah will have their wish in marriage. Cain was a farmer and Abel was a shepherd, Cain is said to have offered a lot of his farms product as a sacrifice and likewise, Abel offered one of his sheep as a sacrifice. When the sacrificial lamb and grains where thorwn into the fire, the fire consumed Abel's lamb and did not consume Cain' s grains, signalling that Allah SWT accepted Abel's offer and as a result Abel had the right to marry Cain's twin sister, hence winning the marriage of disputed bride. Cain became angry at this ruling, envious of Abel's sacrifice being accepted while his sacrifice not beeing accepted, so in anger Cain askes Abel why did Allah accept your sacrifice? Abel answers with dignity that Allah only accepts from those who are keen in winning his satisfaction through obedience ( Mutaqeen) Cain becomes even angrier that Abel is fovored by Allah, just like Adam was favored buy Allah over Satan, so we see a rerun of an old movie again, the story of Adam who was given a higher place and Satan who was asked to bow down to Adam. Cain was also angry that he did not win the marriage of his much desired beautiful twin sister, this again will become a driver of the a sin similar to that of Adam, a sin driven by Deseire of glory. So, in that sitaution, Cain decided to take away the life of his brother Abel inorder to marry his twin sister and get the envy out of his chest. But Abel, who was obedient to Allah decided that he will not lift his hands to kill his brother even if Cain did so, thereby winning Allah's pleasure of not committing murder. Cain goes ahead with his threat, and kills his brother. Cain now is stuck with the cadaver of his dead brother, carrying around until it started to rot and smell, he had no idea of what to do with it, since that murder was the first death in the family, the human family. It was in these circumstance that Allah SWT, as a mercy, sent two crows ( labo tuke) while Cain was pensive thinking of how to dispose of his brothers remnants ( li yuwaarii Saw-ati akhiih )that these crows gave him a hint of what to do with his brothers remains, upon seeing the show of the crows, in which they fight in his full view, one of them getting killed and the other digging the earth and burrying the dead crow, Cain, burries his brother and regrets his shameful demise. The story, in Suurah Al Maidah has a far reaching meaning and lessons if we rise up to have a look at the entire message of the Suurah. Al Maedah laid the ground for the mission of Dawa( invitation to surrender to Allah ) of Jews and Christians to follow Islam, Allah SWT throughout this Surah stresses on several themes fundementall importnat to relay the message of Islam to Jews and Christian, and each group are addressed in a language they can understand. So, these versus of Cain and Abel came as prelude to the story of Moses and his followers the Children of Israel who were behind the murder of many of their prophets, the last of which was Jesus Aleyhi Salaam, and as a warning to the Jews who conspired to murder the Messeneger of Allah SAWS, to reflect on the regretful ending of the story of Cain and Abel. The significance of these verses to the Jewish Muslim relations is great, as Allah SWT equates all humans to the two brothers, one of them being greedy, Proud and envious, while the other brother is humble, peaceful and willing to share ( He will not attempt to kill his brother even if his brother attempts to Kill him ) because Allah SWT categorized the crime of killing a single soul without an equivalent crime as a genocide of all of mankind, and rightfully so, because today, if Abel lived, we would have had a linneage of people from a good guy to balance the common aggressive gene we alll inherited from our aggressive, envious and Proud father, Cain ( Qabiil). Today, if we look at the significance of these verses to the problems in Somalia, we can easily see how we all fell from grace due to our inherent pride of our tribal lineage and envy of other people from other tribes getting ahead of us or killing more than we can kill. Because many of our Somali people indeed believe that their tribal lineage matters when it comes to be good or bad, we have collectively committed mischief and evil unparalleled in the history of mankind since Hulako, Atila the Hun, Jenkhis Khan and the Fuhrer. If Alcohol is the mother of all sins, ( Ummul Kabaa'ir ), then unquestionably, Pride is their Father, because Pride begets envy, envy begets, lies, stealing and finally murder. In Conclusion, if there are any lessons that can be learned from theses verses I would say the following would be high on the list. 1.Pride and Envy are Evil, Pride is reserved for Allah SWT, and envy is a contempt to Allah's absolute justice, Allah alone has the right to decide who should be entitled to live or die, and if we all play on level terrain according to his laws delivered by His Messengers, then no soul will suffer injustice. 2. Murdrer is a grave sin by any yardstick, Allah gives life and causes death, no one should play God by taking others lives without the Law of God. These days we see a lot of killing in the name of justice and freedom, we see tribal vendettas in Somalia or internationally, government policies that trigger the death of many innocent people around the world who are just struggling to earn their daily bread. Why did these people die? because, a Cain and an Habel somewhere are settling scores, fighting over the marriage of some ( vital interests at risk ) with the rest of the populace held as expendable collaterals being slaughtered and their death justified due to the declared or undeclared motives and policies of the madness that is going on in this game of Pride and envy. Anyone who kills any human without an acceptable reason to Allah, has committed a genocide of all mankind, clipping the branch of the tree of that person forever. And For that reason, in the eyes of Allah, as Abel said, it is better to be killed as a victim, then to be the a doomed killer, carrying the heavy weight of the value of a wasted human life that, potentially could have worshipped Allah on earth consumating its purpose of creation. 10. Kowneyn Miracles do happen, and i am praying for you, and me. Mutakallim You have raised a great point, the driver of our worship of Allah SWT. What are the proper drivers of worship of AllaH SWT? Because the worship of Allah is the essence of the creation, it is a permanent activity that we are expected to perform, and because humans are always ever changing due to moods, surroundings, maturity level, clarity of vision, The answer to this question can be handled rather well if we categorise the answer in a structered way. Worship is an activity that we do to seek Allah SWT pleasure, in order to secure ourselves from punishment ( first priority ), succeed to win rewards ( second priority ) through gaining His Love ( Ultimate Goal ), Worship is a show of our dependence and surrender to Allah, the drivers for wosrhip at any given instance in our lives can change, and the format of that worship changes with accordingly. The drivers of worship ( Love of Allah, Fear of His punishment and Hope of His Reward ) are dependent on the bahaviour we are most likely to display, and these behaviours are likely to change: 1. In Terms of the Stages of Our Life: At different stages in our lives, drivers to obey Allah SWT change with the behaviour that is easiest for us. As a teen, our behaviour is more like rebels without a cause, accordingly, the fear of Allah becomes the likely driver for the worship of Allah SWT, as people grow up ( and some never do ), and they become adults, they are in their prime time in their lives, their lives are rich, their mental aptitude is at the epitome, their driver for the worship of Allah SWT is evenly divided beween fear, as they are periodically in temptation to cross the red light, and the love of Allah SWT, for their appreciation of the Nicmah ( goodness that Allah SWT blessed them with ), at the latter stage of the human experience, when the person sucessfully came through life, and is aging gracefully, they are more likely to do good for the Love of Allah SWT, that is why we see philanthrpists make Waqf of their wealth for Allah's sake by helping the poor and assisting the needy. 2. In terms of our instantaneous personal moods and conditions As Humans, our moods vary form an hour to hour, day to day , month to month and year to year, we are never the same person all the time,we constantly grow and change, if anything is permanenent in our lives, its our desire to be better through change. Our mood changes can be triggered by internal factors such as sheer hormonal changes in the case of the sisters, and external factors that I will discuss later, as our moods change, our emotions and attitudes change, we may display arrogance, pride, anger, humility, kindness, worry, happiness, love or fear. So, the ideal format of worship of Allah SWT will be corrresponding to our moods. Worship, means the combination of Love, Surrender and Submission, as I have previously discussed in the meaning of (Ilaah, God). So, when our attitude is changing by displaying anger or arrogance, and we walk with pride, our heads above the clouds, the Fear of Allah SWT can be the dampening mechanism, Allah SWT says: " Thumma dhahaba ilaa ahlihi yatamataa, Awlaa laka fa awlaa, ... Ayaxsabul insaanu an yutraka sudan " Meaning, .. Then (Man) goes to his family walking jestfully with Pride, .....Does man think that he/she will be left alone unaccounted for his/her (bad)deeds? When we are penny-pinching, and forget all about the poor and needy, the fear of our saved gold buillons being transformed to red hot metal bars that burn our foreheads and skins can persuade us to share our wealth with the needy, thus fear is needed for this situation, and mere love of Allah would not help a person in this mood. In contrast, when we feel humility and kindness, hope of reward and the Love Allah SWT can enhance our character by making us seek even higher rewards in the next life throug our kind deeds, since Allah SWT loves kindness to creatures, our worship can be driven by our love for Him because the highest reward is to look at Allah's face according to the vesre " Wujuuhun yawma idin naadwirah, ilaa Rabbihaa Naathira ." Meaning, some faces will be beaming with health, stairing ( with love ) at their Lord" while the most cruel punishment is not to be allowed to see Allah , Allah SWT says, " Innahum yawma'idin can Rabbihim la maxjuubuun: meaning that the evil doers are blocked (from seeing ) their Lord 3. In terms of Conditions and surroundings that influence our behaviour When we manage people, we are expected to be kind, yet firm, cautious yet trusting, smiling, yet penseful, these attitutes, so the way we deal with people if it is left to our own judgment without a devine standard, we may become extremists, believing not to trust our frieds, since they are more dangerous than a managed enemy, as such we become ruthless, vindictive and unforgiving. When we are in human gatherings, school or at work, in a jovial mood, and under the influence of a combination of emotional and biological impulses, we can unintentionally switch off our common sense and act contrary to the revelations, in such situations, the remembrance of Allah SWT and Istighfaar can dampen the effect of the impulse and bring our senses back to normal level of servants of Allah SWT. 4. In terms of their knowledge Knowledge is like a circle that contains us, the less we know, the smaller that circle, the smaller the perimeter and the less we know and fear, the larger the perimeter of that circle, the more we know, and the more we realize the ever increasing area beyound the perimeter of the circle represnting our ignorance, so as we know more, the more we realize our ignorance is, and the more we fear the unknown. Allah SWT says; " Innamaa yakhshaa Allahu min cibaadihi al culaamaa " menaing, : The knowledgeble worshippers of Allah, are those most fearful of Allah SWT . So, in this regard, knowledge leads to awe, and fear. Other verses describe how the mountains would crack up of the fear of Allah SWT, and how the angels are at awe and fearful of Allah SWT. Because, the fear here is reflecting our total surrender to the will of Allah SWT , which is the essence of creation. 5. In terms of their level of iimaan Our actions are driven by the level of our iimaan, and Allah will compensate us for our actions and the faith that motivated us. I wrote an article titled ( Low Octane Levels) in another thread that: "...... Faith or iimaan is like energy, it can not be seen, but its effect can be evident in out lives, the higher the iimaan level, the better our performance as Muslims and as measurable actions, the lower the iimaan octane level, the poorer our Islamic identity and behaviour . The iimaan octane can get to a critically low levels, and in these instances, the person acts almost contrary to Islam in every sense imaginable, without even realizing that he/she is low on iimaan octane. That person quits performing prayers, and observing the sharia, his words show contempt for Islam, or hates its restrictions, this person's engine needs overhaul, or may be it is beyound repair . " Based on that logic, our drivers for worship are dependent on the quality of our faith, the highest driver being the love of Allah SWT and the lowest driver being the fear of Allah SWT. In Conclusion, Love, Hope and Fear are all needed to maintain and balance our worship of Allah SWT. Love of Allah SWT is the reference point that both Fear and Hope can calibrate their respective quantities, as the loss of Allah's love means punishment, and winning His Love means a reward, the highest of which is to enjoy looking at the beauty of His face SWT. Nur
  11. Salafi Bro Soldier of Allah mentioned the advice of the wiseman to his son: " Ithnaani laa tansaahumaa" Two never forget, Alah and the Hereafter, because by rembering Allah we gain his love, and fear, which are like the wings of a bird that balance its flight path to be straught, and by remembring the Herafter like you said, we find a purpose for doing everything, because even if it is as small as an atom of good or bad, in the hereafter, we shall see it, then be compensated to the fullest. The wise man also said, " Ithnaani laa tadhkurhumaa" Two things do not remember; The good you do for people, and the evil things they reciprocate for ytour goodness. Because we should do good for Allah, not for people, like Allah SWT said in Quraan about the righteous people " Laa nuriidu minkum jazaa'an wa laa shukuuraa" we do not expect or want from you reward or appreciation" Nur
  12. Jundullah You write: " They are those who remembered their lord laying down on their sides , sitting and standing, who worshipped Allah and balanced their faith through hope and fear, who hasten in doing righteous deeds . You know bro, nothing puts happiness in our lives better than Dhiker of Allah, ( It is even more pleasurable than the feeling of the runners high one gets after running 13 miles and then stops to rest to drink a chilled bottle of Gatorade )the more I make dhiker, the happier I get, sometimes I wonder, is it just me, or other Nomads are also enjoying their pleasure with the Dhiker, but they are keeping it to themselves? Whenever something goes wrong in my life, the first thing I check is my Dhiker connection, just like a dedicated DSL line, the minute that line goes down, with it other services go down, and thats when I hurry to restablish the connection, because , if there is one thing to remember in your life, we should remember Allah SWT, that way, Allah will kindly remind us what is important to us, because He said " Remember Me, I will remember you". Thus, Dhiker is the important connection betwen us, the needy, and Allah SWT the Rich , remembering Allah makes us feel connected to Allah in a special way, when others are not connecting with Allah, and I know I am the only person remembering and hymining His praise in a room, I feel very special, wallahi I feel great. We can integrate Dhiker into our lives, because the Messenger of Allah SAWS left for us a rich legacy (Sunnah) to emulate which revolves around Allah's rememberance which influences our Character to become benevolent for his creatures through good etiquette ( Xusnul Khuluq) that can be found in the rememberence of Allah SWT only. When we are in a public place and want to make Dhiker, say, like a Doctors office and everyone is quiet reading Old editions of Readers Digest or National Geographic, and you do not want them to notice that you are hymning, the best Dhiker to make that will not make your liups move is : " Laa Ilaaha Illaa Allah" try it, you can do it with your lips closed. and the pleasure begins. Remembering Allah SWT is so pleasureable and refershing like the garden of Eden, said Sheikh Ibnul Qayim al Jawziyyah, the person who does not eneter the Paradise of Dhiker, will not eneter the Paradise of Eden. So, why is it that Dhiker, being the most appreciated activity by Allah that we can do for the least effort for the most return, and still, we fail to find the time for it? it beats me, can any Nomad tell me why? 13. Somali Anarchist Declaration Nairobi, Kenya. The Psychological Drivers Of Somali Anarchists What drives an Anarchist? Abraham Maslow suggested that Humans ( with functioning brains ) have a hierarchy of needs beginning with the most basic of all needs physiological, which in the case of Somali Anarchists is represented by the Mirqaan needs, to chew Qat weeds, followed by security, for the anarchists it is a Technical truck manned by riffle totting baadiye teenagers, next comes to be loved ( sorry, Maslow went wrong here, anarchists throw-up when they hear the word love ), it should be changed in their lingo by -to be feared so no one dare to mess around with them, next the need to be respected again Maslow went off course here for Somali Anarchists, it should be refrased as: ( Nin ayan shantaada kaa dhicin sharci kaama dhacsho ), and finally The need for self-actualization which is the desire to become a real Anarchist, like the deadliest warlord anarchist around. Anarchists who have a lot of weapons can scare more of their opponents by buying more weapons. The Self actualization ends when the Anarchis after killing so many people and causing so much disaster to plants, animals and people is made an Honorable Parliamentarian representing his clan who he most likely " uusan deeq ka wada simin, laakin uu eed ka wada simay " The Anarchist Government in Nairobi is going to be established on the basis of who is feared most, not who is more capable in adding value, because most Somalis believe that the FEAR need is the most important in our Nomadic culture which should be the pivotal point of our politics. The most basic need of an Anarchist thus is to be feared, because if you get really close to one of these guys, there is nothing they can offer in terms of adding real value to Somalia's development and intellectual needs, a bullet can take the life of a PhD in a split of a second, these guys know destruction very well, an art piece they have painted in our culture so descriptively the past 13 years, the question I am posing for the SOL politics section today is, do you realy believe that these Anarchists are good enough in fixing their own mess? 14. Salafi. That was a wake up call for many, I was once personally consulted of what to do for a similar case, a teenager Somali boy in jail for robbery and possession of controlled subs and a 14 year old Somali girl who got fooled around and got pregnant, it seems the norm is spreading lately. A Somali poet was once asked what song to sing for an illigitimate baby, the poem in Somali goes like this: " wiiloow, wiiloow, wiiloowaa...waddada laamiga iyo wareeg lagu soo helyoowaa ...etc. " An Arabic proverb says " Sharrul baliyyah maa yudxik " the worst of afflictions are those that make you laugh, When a problm like that happens, it is usually the net result of past neglect or lack of parental guidance that made the kid turn to others for help. Kids from the time they open their eyes, they are in a learning mode, there are three distinct places where learning takes place. 1. School ( 8 hours a day ) 2. Streets ( between school and home) 3. Home ( sleeping, homework and family weekend times) So, by far the school is where a kids spends most of his/her wakep time and where he/she is more likely to pick his/her values, follwed by the street and lastly and the least, the home even if the parent is doing their part. In order to keep a kid on the right track, it takes a parent who patiently quarantines a kid after school daily, opening their school bag, checking out all that they were exposed to at school today and un-doing the damage, having a candid discussion on all they have seen or done and then setting the record straight for them of what is acceptable and what is not according to our faith. However this is very difficult for most nomads if not outright impossible for a struggling Nomadic parent. An Islamic school may be a good choice, however, I agree with Blush24/7/B/4/Marriage, that by the time a kid shows up in an Islamic school, he may already be beyound repair and a bad influence to other innocent kids. " Mommy, why did you put me in this school?, kids in public school were far better in behaviour than this one " said a kid to his mother. However, if islamic shools set stringent standards for admission and an interview before admission, it would probably be a great option for many, but again, it would not be feasible economically as schools need all the numbers tey can recruit to keep cost down. So what other options are there short of moving back to Kurtunwaarrey? well, there is the concept of Homeschool. Homeschools are a great choice for parents who: 1. Are educated ( Some states require parent to have at least a bachelor to be given permission to homeschool ) 2. Stay-at-home parent 3. Patient ( Insanity is heriditary, parents get it from their kids ) 4. Enjoys teaching 5. Lots of love a must to teach. Nationally its found that homeschool kids are on the average 4 grades ahead of kids their age, more confident, higher IQ and more emotionally stable. Unfortunately, most of the first generation refugee parent headed families are not fit for homeschool, but they can workout a plan to share the service of a paid teacher or a stay-at-home parent, or an unemployed Mr. Mom. Homeschooling bonds parent and child, assures the kid, strengthens their personality and makes them well prepared for higher education. Nur
  15. Rayaana sis May Allah bless you walaalo, I can feel your iman radiating throug the page, One of my motivation to write is that I often feel that this world is a prison for the believer, till he/she is freed by death to join his/her loved ones in Paradise, however, life is a one time opportunity that if we use it wisely, can result in attaining the highest rank in Paradise. Like you said, my major motivation is the love of Allah SWT, the love of those Allah loves, foremost being the Messenger of Allah SAWS, his companions and all believers. Once that love becomes real, one transcends petty arguments on worldly concerns, not to be reclussive, but not to give the worldly concerns more than its real weight in the eyes of Allah SWT. The love of Allah SWT can only be gained by the love of actions and deeds he loves, mainly the following of the Sunnah (way of life) of His Messneger who was sent as an example to mankind , Allah SWT tells His Messneger to tell us " Say (to them) if indeed you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will surely love you " There is no action more loved by Allah than caring for his creatures, the person who is loved most by Allah is the one who adds more value to the quality of life and worship of his creatures, like helping the poor, assisting the afflicted, resolving conflicts, helping our Raxim ( just close relatives, not the whole Rer Qansax ), his worship in observing prayers, fasting, alms giving and Hajj, standing for what is right, opposing what is wrong, spreading the faith and making a lot of Dhiker in the entire course of our lives, integrating the remembrance of Allah in all of our deeds and words, may be it seems to much, but if you look at it as an assignment that would only last for few decades, then it seems bearable, and only for those who Allah SWT called Al Raashidoon, those whose hearts are decorated with imaan, and love it, and who who hate sins, disobedience of Allah SWT and denial of His goodness ( Kufr) Finally sis, InshAllah I wil pray for you, but my heart is far from being a pure heart, but I am really working on it, so pray for me to attain the purity of intentions and heart before I die, because, no one will make it to the Xawdh with the Messenger of Allah SWT without one. To have a pure heart is to be ready to be thrown on a burning fire pit like idolators did to Prophet Abraham for his convictions, and faith, Allah SWT says about him " Idh Jaa Rabbahu bi qalbin saliim " when he approched His Lord with with a non Defective heart. 16. Murad bro. How can you question my dedication to Anarchy? I am saddened to know that my lifelong service of Anarchy is not appreciated. Just to remind you my contribution, please read below a letter of congratulations I sent to President Bush on behalf of Somali Anarchists, For Helping Anarchy in the Middle East : Somali Anarchists Letter to George Bush Dear President Bush On behalf of the Anarchist Association of Somalia I congratulate you for the quick win in Iraq that you badly needed to justify for your upcoming reelection. This letter is coming to you as an inspiration from your friends in the area, friends who believe that the world should be united under a new world government that will establish a new world order ( or disorder) as predicted by your Dad a decade ago. The idea of uniting diverse people, with diverse backgrounds under one world government has eluded the Somali Anarchist Association for the past decade. But, watching the fireworks in Iraq and Afghanistan has reassured your Anarchist Allies in Somalia and the world over that might is indeed right and since you represent the mightiest nation on earth, Somali Anarchists have unanimously decided to be loyal to your world government in order to further the common ideals we share of power brokering. We also support your decision to ignore the UN and all those silly French and German politicians who have no idea of the enormous job that is awaiting you of establishing some sort of a new world order. As I am not capable of writing,( Af Ingriis ma aqaan ) this letter was prepared by my secretary his name is Carrabey , meaning he has speech disorder, he mispronounces and misspells words frequently , so in case some words do make a different sense, you can decide what it means for yourself, just like how you deal with the world bodies such as Human Rights and International War criminals court etc. The Anarchist, association is commending you for acting locally and sinking globally , sorry ( Carrabey misspelled this one, I meant Thinking Globally). The question that forces itself in light of current world affairs is how can America sink globally when it is acting so well locally.? The answer according to the Somali Anarchist Sinkers and the Somali Chaotic Sink Tank, is that great empires sink big when they spread themselves too sin (thin) and after a while implode after all the resources they have stole all those years are used up in adventures far from home and when their moral high ground of " Justice for All " becomes meaningless at home and overseas, which affects the productivity mindset of the citizenry and even increases contempt for the Emperor's power, triggering an avalanche of mishaps that brings the empire down, just like it did to Empires of old, which in effect gives a new meaning to the negative of Descartes famous argument " I Sink, therefore I do NOT Exist " As an anarchist, I share with you the notion that there is no need for the United Nations, I believe that Coffee Anan Salary can feed 200,000 Somalis per day, so, by disbanding these gangs who live on poor peoples misery cycle, we believe that your highness as the new Emperor of the New World Order, that you can reach the end users of the US aid directly, cutting off the middle man( Coffee Annan), and in the process, you do not have to pay your hard cash, you can literally pay peanuts, ( Peter Pan Brand is my favorite ). Somalis would be grateful to consume the overproduced American wheat cereals and Florida Citrus ( frozen Concentrates before they expire ) which in economic terms can create the dependence of the Somali economy on American aid, thus making them obedient while at the same time stabilizing commodity prices in the USA ( Do not worry, in case Somalis get sick, you can send expired medicines, and you are the Judge and the Policeman ) The UN is a waste of resources, and as the Thief executive officer of the World, ( I mean Chief Executive, Carrabey, my secretary misspells frequently ) you should invade the UN building, since the UN office is in New York, a US property, and then disband these UN officials. If anyone disagrees with you, remind them that there should be only one world Power, and one United Nations. How can they forget that there are more Germans in Wyoming than Bavaria's Black Forest and more Gadabursi in Ohio than in Borama. So, the new United Nations should be declared as The United States of America, a nation of nations in a melting pot not a salad bowl like the former Soviet union. I know that you like to compensate Chairman Coffe Anan once you disband the UN. The ( EDCO ) Entrepreneurial Development Cooperative Office of The Somali Anarchist Association will closely work with Coffee Anan to trade mark his name in all Somali tribal Jurisdictions as a Caffe for the Armchair Veteran Generals of The Somali Civil War ( Fadhi Ku Dirir ), We would even consider to nominate him the Honorary Visiting Anarchist of the year, to thank him for all the anarchy that his organization helped create and maintain in Somalia and the world. 18. Nomads Summertime is almost over, and the fall is fast approaching, trees will get ready for the snow season by shedding their leaves and going into energy saving mode, squirrels and ants are packing their supplies for the cold season, so what are your plans for that season? You can take your furry coat to the cleaners to get ready, you can clean your chimneys, or you can insulate your place to make it more energy efficient. But, do you realize that you are still exposed? not to cold temperatures, but to very hot temperatures, so hot, no matter how many clothes you take off, you will boil like a tea bag. So what is the definition of exposure ? It is the combination of a threat (likelihood of harm befalling you), vulnerability ( Too much sins) and the impact that could casue significant harm (Punishment) In one of my threads I discussed the cost of sins, please refer to that thread Do you know that you can significantly reduce your exposure to the punishment of Allah SWT, both here in our lifetime, and there in the next, simply by making istighfaar ( asking Allah SWT to forgive you) on a daily basis? And the more you make istighfaar, the lesser your sins. The lesser your sins, the lesser you are exposed ( Remember how Adam and Eve felt exposed when they ate the forbidden fruit )? The lesser you are exposed, the more you are covered with Taqwaa. And Taqwaa, saves you. So, what are you waiting, Nomad Say with me Istaghfurullah, Istaghfurullah,Istaghfurullah,Istaghfurullah ... and get dressed up................ 19. Cawralo sis Aisha RA was born 7-8 years before the Hijrah, she was married at 9 with the consent of her father Abu Bakar, when the Prophet SAWS died on her lap , she was 18, she died in her sixties to her seventies, according to the majority and most reliable sources of the Siirah. The early marriages was common in Arabia and the Orient at the time, however in our time it is normal that a woman delays marriage in her thirties, and marriages for even teeagers are not acceptable while sex education and practise is officially introduced at elementary schools in modern curriculms, kids learn all about sex (not Marriage) at the tender age of 7-12, and some jurisdictions curriculums, even add pervert sexual lifestyles as a choice for kids. As Muslims,we dont have to defend the age gap between our Messneger SAWS and Aisha RA, we believe him in more serious matters that we have not even seen like the hereafter, hell and heaven, and resurruction, his prophethhod, his delivery of Allah's message completely and perfectly. We also take from him all of our social standards, what is right and what is wrong morally, his marriages were all lessons for setting acceptability of norms, as he married his first wife Khadija who was 15 years his senior, an older woman, he married widows with kids, he married a Christian woman , a Jewish Lady. As such, his marriages as a Prophet were serving as an example of what is acceptable and what not. However, trying to defend the marriage of the Prophet SAWS by recalculating Aisha's age to show that she was a grown woman to satisfy our modern day acceptable norm is wrong. Islam as a faith is from Allah SWT, Muhammad is his Messenegr, his way of life is the best, and salvation in the herafter is dependent on accepting Islam as a wholesome faith as revealed from Allah SWT to his messenger Muhaammad SAWS. 21. Jinnoole By far, you are the most elequent and articulated anarchist to respond to this thread, your Af Somali poetry is awsome. What this country needs is a real Jinnoole, like your excellency, I think that we finally found the prime Minister of the Anarchist Re-Bililqo of Somalia. Prime Misnsiter jinnoole, my cimmamad is taken off for your honor and candid knowledge of Somali culture based on hate, stealing of camels, raids and killing of fellow Somalis, noteworthy is your chaotic unstructured government Ministries, like the Minsistry of Bililiqo, which is the core di-Organization of any Anarchist power base. We are happy that finally Bililqo will be institutionalized in your government. The first such misnistry in tghe world soon to be copied by other hopeful countries like Iraq and Afganistan. The Baashi for President Comittee is proud to nominates Mr. Jinnoole as the Prime Misister of The Anarchist Re-Bililiqo of Somalia . 23. Mutakallim bro. I Thank you for taking the time to work on such a lenghty document, I myself posted my research in haste only under your and Vikings pressure to address core issues, If I had the luxury of the time, i would have also needed as much time as you took answering my post, thus producing more detailed and explained material. But I am sure that in any intellectual Islamic exchange of thoughts, the goal is not to win an argument, rather it is to win the pleasure of Allah SWT and paradise, and I assure you ahead, that if anything that you post matches my conviction, that I will not selfishly deny. I also hope that what you are going to post is genuinely your own work with references of all your sources, but not a proxy like what (Mr. Q., Feinman) has done by posting long responses from an absent debator, The reason being that we need spontaneity if this thread has to be for its audience. I have no problem with any point of view that i answer as long as it is from someone aho is active on the board with me like you. For that purpose, I hope that you address key issues detrimental to the discussion 1. Your anderstanding of Tawheed 2. Your understanding of What constitutes a diety 3. Your understanding of What is Imamate and the role of the Messengers 4. Your understanding of the integrity of the Quraan And finally, and in case you accept the Quraan as the complete word of Allah SWT, to make the Quraan our common point of reference. Wallaahu min waraa'il qasd. Nur
  24. Viking You quote the verse "O Apostle! Deliver what has been sent down to you from your Lord; and if you don't do it, you have not delivered His message (at all);and Allah will protect you from the people ..." (Al-Maidah 5:67) Do you suggest that accodring to this verse that the prophet SAWS did convey the message of the Wilaayah, thus clearly meaning the Khilaafa of Ali by that hadeeth ? or are you suggesting like many other Shia scholars say that the Prophet SAWS failed to make a final wassiyya upon his death? Either way, that above verse if you are not careful will backfire on you because, either the prophet SAWS goofed, or he did it but forgot to make a wassiyyah at his death bed? you have to be very resourceful to find an answer. I will quote similar verses the Shia interpreted to mean that Ali was devine, from the same sources, then you will have the responsibility of explaining which one to believe and which one you dont and why. The verse I quoted, is general I never said it was partricular that Allah SAWS was pleased with the Companions of the Prophet SAWS, the satisfaction of Allah was never lifted afterwards if that is waht you are suggesting thereby reenfrocing the Shia point that they all became Kuffar after the Prophets death. Contrary to what the Shia say about the verse you've quoted. That verse meant " Relay the message of Islam in its totality " not the Imamate of Ali. For the Shia, Ali's imamate is the core religion, thus no wonder they interpret everything around Ali, not Islam which was the object of the message to beginh with. The Nahjul Balaagha, as I have read, is the closest to truth, although after being in the possesion of the Shia, all of it is questionable, so as you have not argued with Shia when they have used what they have said it is sunni without showing the SANAD (Line of narration) , I have shown that Ali in their book clearly stated, so, pick your choice. The Imamate of Ali if it was a political issue, there is no problem in disagreement, on the other hand if you believe that Ali's appointment according to the above verse was a devine decree, then, according to Kulieny, and company, all of what the Shia say about the corruption of Quran, ( that verses were removed that appointed Ali ) his sacred infallible divinity and that of the imaams becomes understandable. Once people create a lie, they have to back it up with many more lies for it to work. Viking, one advice, if you spend a third of the effort examining the Sussin version of what happened as you did with the Shia, you would not need me aor anybody else, the material is readily evailable in these times of the internet, so, seek the truth, no matter ho much you dislike the result, at the end, you will be the winner. 25. Nomads Thierry (I guess you are not that French Guy in Djiouti whose family controled Djibouti's economy for the last 100 years?) Viking Haseena Baarakallahu Feekum It has been over a year since I first posted this story in Somali, it never siezes to soften my heart, no matter how many times I read, my eyes fill with tears, the minute i visualize myself being part of the weeping crowd in that Masjid, I can imagine the feeling of losing the greatest person in History of mankind, a man I love so much, that as a mercy, , Allah blessed me with his company in my dreams, praying with him twice. Loneliness, agony, and worry for bleak future is what the companions felt after his departure. But the good news is that he is waiting for us by the Hawdh, in Paradise, if Allah SWT showers us with his mercy. The men around the Prophet were a dream team, a group of men the likes of which, never to repeat in history of mankind, they were specially selected for the incubation of this great message to mankind, each and everyone of them was a special in his own sense, men who merged together from ignorance and difference to become as a single soul around the Messenegr, with a rock solid conviction that Muhammad SAWS was Allah's messneger and Islam was the only way to follow, they were men of character, bravery, resolve and piety. May Allah bless the companions of the Messenger of Allah SWT, his family members, wives and his brothers, ( these are all of us redaing this post who love him and follow him). amin Nur
